Weekly Tarot Horoscope July 21-27: Redefining Boundaries

Yahoo5 days ago
Your Tarot horoscope for the week of July 21 to 27 is an invitation to reclaim your power and your truth. However, you first need to be brave enough to integrate all the parts of you—especially the ones you try to hide or avoid. This week calls for boldness, because being courageous has always been your birth right. Leo season is here, and it's inspiring you to let your inner lion roar.
The sun blazes into Leo on July 22 at 9:29 a.m. ET, kicking off a season that thrives on visibility, creativity, and unapologetic joy. Leo doesn't blend in; it radiates. It has no problem with being the brightest source of light in the room. It demands to be witnessed, celebrated, and loved out loud. As the Leo sun forms a sextile with Uranus in Gemini on July 23, you can expect sudden insights and unexpected shifts to activate new parts of your personality. Ideas are being sparked into reality, and connections are being emphasized. This dynamic energy is your chance to set yourself free from the chains of routine and familiarity. Instead, it's time to experiment with a different way of life.
But, as always, not everything will flow smoothly. July 23 is also when Venus in Gemini will square off with Mars in Virgo, stirring up romantic and artistic tension. Mixed signals could lead to frustration, especially as Mercury retrograde in Leo adds miscommunication to the mix. Desire and reality may not align, but conflict isn't necessarily a red flag; it might be a cue to realign intentions, express your needs, or have the honest conversation you've been avoiding.
By July 23 and 24, the sun forms harmonizing trines with Saturn retrograde and Neptune retrograde in Aries, helping you ground your vision and give form to your dreams. You're being called to move beyond fantasy and into action. No more waiting for the perfect moment. It's time to write the script of the life the way you want it to look. Don't let the world edit out all your favorite and most authentic parts.
The new moon in Leo arrives on July 24 at 2 degrees, beckoning you into a new chapter—one that celebrates courage, creativity, and self-trust. Don't hold back. Start something your younger self would've believed impossible. Let this moment mark your decision to be seen, fully and fiercely.
Still, growth isn't always graceful. On July 25, the sun opposes Pluto retrograde in Aquarius, unearthing the power dynamics and unspoken fears that keep you small. What are you afraid people will see if you show up as your full self? Whose approval are you still chasing? The only way to embody your light is to accept your shadow, too. This week, the stars urge you to choose authenticity over performance, because being real will always be more magnetic than playing perfect.
Card of the week
King of Swords
While every zodiac sign is receiving its own Tarot card pull, I've also pulled a card that will describe the overall energy that is impacting the collective. And for this week, that card is a sign that you're ready to be mature and realistic, because it happens to be the King of Swords.
This week, the King of Swords calls on you to lead with clarity and determination, not chaos or fear. As the new moon in Leo rises on July 24, you're being invited to set powerful intentions—but only after you've taken a step back to really understand your truth. Instead of reacting impulsively or letting others sway your judgment, take time to reflect on your core beliefs. Let emotions settle before speaking, and allow your integrity to guide your decisions.
By July 25, the sun in Leo opposes Pluto in Aquarius, revealing hidden power struggles or fears around control. Don't let pressure cloud your judgment. The King of Swords reminds you that true authority comes from self-awareness, not dominance. Seek counsel from someone you trust and look up to if you need it, but trust your own moral compass above all.
How the planets will affect your zodiac sign this week
Here's what you can expect from the upcoming week, according to your rising sign and/or your sun sign (and seriously, you're missing out if you don't read these horoscopes for your rising sign):
Aries: Ten of Pentacles
You've been working hard toward something lasting, and this week proves just how far you've come. The Ten of Pentacles signals a moment of achievement in which safety, stability, and long-term success come into view. You're not just surviving anymore; you're setting roots, possibly even creating a legacy. As the sun in Leo forms a trine with both Saturn and Neptune in Aries on July 23 and 24, you're seeing the fruits of your vision and responsibility combine. The dreams you once doubted are suddenly grounded in real, tangible progress. If you've been holding back from making a major investment—in your future, your family, or your creativity—this is a cosmic green light. Trust in what you've built. Taurus: Justice
Balance is being restored, and not by accident. The Justice card suggests that you're witnessing the ripple effect of choices made both by you and others. This week, you may notice the scales tipping in your favor, not because you fought dirty, but because you stayed aligned with your values. As the sun in Leo opposes Pluto in Aquarius on July 25, power dynamics in your public and private life may come into sharp focus. You're realizing who's been transparent, who hasn't, and what to do about it. Let your actions speak louder than your resentment. Justice is already on your side; you don't need to seek revenge. You just need to keep showing up as the best version of yourself. Read your full July monthly horoscope.
Gemini: Four of Cups
Something isn't hitting the way it used to. The Four of Cups says you might be emotionally disengaged this week, possibly comparing yourself to others or wondering if you've missed your moment. On July 23, Venus in Gemini squares Mars in Virgo, stirring tension between what you want and what's available to you. Restlessness could cloud your vision and make it easy to overlook what's already working. Rather than obsessing over what's not enough, try asking yourself what would actually make you feel fulfilled. The answers may be simpler—and closer—than you think. Read your full July monthly horoscope.
Cancer: Seven of Cups
Your imagination is on overdrive, but your clarity might be suffering for it. The Seven of Cups says you're surrounded by possibilities, yet uncertain which path to choose. On July 25, the sun in Leo opposes Pluto in Aquarius, stirring up subconscious fears around intimacy, power, or emotional entanglements. You may be idealizing a situation or clinging to a fantasy, only to feel disoriented when reality bites. Slow down before you make any major decisions. Let illusions fall away naturally; you'll know what's right when the noise quiets. Your gut is trying to cut through the confusion. Let it. Read your full July monthly horoscope.
Leo: The High Priestess
You already know the answer; you just need to tune in and listen. The High Priestess reveals that your intuition is strong this week, especially as you step into the spotlight. On July 24, the new moon in Leo helps you hit reset, encouraging a fresh start rooted in self-trust. Then on July 25, the sun in Leo opposes Pluto in Aquarius, exposing hidden power dynamics in your relationships. Someone may try to undermine your sense of authority or make you question your instincts. Don't let them. What you feel is real. Tune out the static and let your inner knowing lead. Read your full July monthly horoscope.
Virgo: Five of Cups
Something might not go the way you hoped this week—and that's OK. The Five of Cups speaks to disappointment, but also the importance of grieving what didn't work out. On July 23, Venus in Gemini squares off with Mars in Virgo, pulling your attention in competing directions and potentially creating friction between your desires and obligations. Don't rush to brush aside your feelings or pretend everything's fine. Let yourself feel the loss, because that's how you'll clear the way for healing. You don't need to make sense of it yet. Just honor what it meant to you and what you've learned in the process. Read your full July monthly horoscope.
Libra: Death
Endings aren't always dramatic; sometimes they happen quietly, when you finally admit the truth. The Death card marks a turning point this week, signaling the need to let something go so you can grow beyond it. On July 25, the sun in Leo opposes Pluto in Aquarius, making it impossible to ignore what's no longer aligned. You may feel the weight of something you've outgrown, whether it's a dream, a relationship, or a version of yourself. Even if it's hard, this release is sacred. Make peace with what's ending. Something better is on its way, but only if you're willing to make room. Read your full July monthly horoscope.
Scorpio: Six of Cups
You may find yourself reaching into the past this week, sifting through memories or reuniting with old connections. The Six of Cups invites you to reflect, but not regress. On July 25, the sun in Leo opposes Pluto in Aquarius, resurfacing deep emotional patterns related to your roots, family, or self-image. Are you clinging to nostalgia because it's comforting, or because you're avoiding the unknown? Let the past inform your growth, not anchor you to it. You're not meant to go backward. Whatever haunts or inspires you now can be integrated and transformed, but only if you face it honestly. Read your full July monthly horoscope.
Sagittarius: The Tower
The ground beneath you is shifting, and trying to cling to what's falling apart won't save it. The Tower brings necessary destruction, wiping away illusions so truth can emerge. On July 23, Venus in Gemini squares Mars in Virgo, rattling your foundations in love, career, or both. A sudden realization or conflict may shake you, but don't panic. This is a clearing. Whatever collapses now is something your soul no longer needs. Trust that what remains will be more authentic and stable. After all, only what's real survives the fire. And you? You're still standing. Read your full July monthly horoscope.
Capricorn: Two of Swords
There's a decision you've been avoiding, and this week, it demands your attention. The Two of Swords reflects a mental gridlock. You know a choice must be made, but you're still weighing your options. On July 23, Venus in Gemini squares off with Mars in Virgo, stirring internal conflict between your values and your future goals. Even if clarity feels elusive, indecision won't protect you. Take a deep breath, get quiet, and listen to what your heart is saying beneath all the noise. No matter the outcome, taking action will bring peace. Stagnation won't. Read your full July monthly horoscope.
Aquarius: The Chariot
You're charging ahead, but not without resistance. The Chariot shows that success is yours if you stay focused and don't let distractions pull you off track. On July 24, the new moon in Leo energizes your relationships, inviting new beginnings, but on July 25, the sun in Leo opposes Pluto in Aquarius, placing pressure on your identity. Are you compromising too much for others? Or refusing to budge when collaboration is needed? Either way, you're learning what true leadership looks like. Stay aligned with your mission, but remember: being in control also means knowing when to let go. Read your full July monthly horoscope.
Pisces: Eight of Pentacles
This week is about commitment—to your craft, your healing, your future. The Eight of Pentacles reminds you that mastery comes through consistency. You don't have to be perfect; you just have to be present. On July 24, the new moon in Leo energizes your daily routines and invites you to build habits that support your long-term goals. What are you ready to get serious about? It's time to show up for the work that feeds your soul, even if it's slow or unglamorous. Keep refining your process and trusting your growth. Brick by brick, you're creating something that will last. Read your full July monthly horoscope.

There's finally a trailer for Battlefield 6, but no multiplayer details just yet

We knew it was coming and now it's here. EA has officially dropped a trailer for the long-rumored Battlefield 6 . The footage is heavy on story, but light on gameplay. As for that story, there's a global war raging with a private military contractor, prompting an explosion-laden presidential address. The trailer certainly suggests that the newest entry in the franchise will have plenty of cinematic set-pieces. To view this content, you'll need to update your privacy settings. Please click here and view the "Content and social-media partners" setting to do so. EA has confirmed that Battlefield 6 will have both multiplayer and a single player campaign. We'll have to wait a bit to see actual footage of the multiplayer component in action. The company has a livestream planned for July 31 at 2:30PM ET. Today's trailer doesn't seem to feature any gameplay at all, but it does feature a Bob Dylan tune. Battlefield 6 is being developed by several different dev teams, operating under the banner Battlefield Studios. Original developer DICE is involved, as are the folks behind Burnout and Need for Speed . EA Motive, the team behind the Dead Space remake, is on hand, as is a new group known as Ripple Effect. Reports have persisted that the game has faced issues during development that caused it to go over budget . To view this content, you'll need to update your privacy settings. Please click here and view the "Content and social-media partners" setting to do so. This follows Battlefield 2042 , which was released back in 2021 . The game struggled a bit in the sales department, with the company saying it "did not meet expectations." We don't know when Battlefield 6 will come out, though there have been rumors about an October launch . EA has also remained tight-lipped about what platforms it'll be available for. Maybe we'll get that information on July 31.
