You'll also want to avoid starting words with repeating letters, as you're wasting the chance to potentially eliminate or confirm an extra letter. Once you hit Enter, you'll see which ones you've got right or wrong. If a box turns ⬛️, it means that letter isn't in the secret word at all. 🟨 means the letter is in the word, but not in that position. 🟩 means you've got the right letter in the right spot.
Your second guess should compliment the starting word, using another "good" word to cover any common letters you missed last time while also trying to avoid any letter you now know for a fact isn't present in today's answer. With a bit of luck, you should have some coloured squares to work with and set you on the right path.
After that, it's just a case of using what you've learned to narrow your guesses down to the right word. You have six tries in total and can only use real words (so no filling the boxes with EEEEE to see if there's an E). Don't forget letters can repeat too (ex: BOOKS).

He added that Hall was 'perfect and incredible' in the role. 'He's incredible, and I wasn't ready,' Scott stated. Poehler, who was shocked to learn of this, asked Scott how close he was to nabbing the part. 'He and I tested for it,' the latter replied. 'That hurts.' Scott opened up about his disappointment at losing the role, saying it was 'painful.' He added, 'It was the one where I was like, 'I might stop doing this. I think that it's time for me to read the tea leaves and walk away,'' he shared. To this, Poehler likened the experience to 'someone f—— your girlfriend in front of you.' 'One hundred percent,' Scott said, agreeing with Poehler. He recalled how the series 'eclipsed all other shows' when it aired between 2001 and 2005. 'It was the show,' he added. Although the Party Down actor lost out on David Fisher in Six Feet Under, he did eventually appear in the series in a guest capacity. He played Ben Cooper, Fisher's love interest, who breaks up with him after the latter confesses he still has feelings for his on/off boyfriend, Keith. A 'Home Improvement' reunion is coming to Tim Allen's 'Shifting Gears' season 2 premiere

It's been 26 years since Home Improvement aired its final episode, and fans are getting a mini reunion on Tim Allen's new sitcom. Home Improvement stars Patricia Richardson, Richard Karn, and Debbe Dunning will make a special guest appearance on the season 2 premiere of ABC's Shifting Gears, airing on Oct. 1, Entertainment Weekly can confirm. Although details on their appearance are under wraps, it has been revealed that their characters will reportedly support Allen's character, Matt Parker, in an unexpected way. Shifting Gears follows Matt as his estranged daughter Riley (Kat Dennings) and her kids move into his home. Matt is a stubborn, widowed owner of a classic car restoration shop, who works alongside Seann William Scott as Gabriel, Daryl Chill Mitchell as Stitch, Maxwell Simkins as Carter, and Barrett Margolis as Georgia. Nancy Travis and Jenna Elfman guest-starred in the show's freshman season and will return as guest stars for the second installment. The series is Allen's third sitcom after he starred on Last Man Standing from 2011 to 2021 as Mike Baxter, an executive at a Denver sporting goods store. But no role has become as much of a household name as Allen's tenure as Home Improvement's Tim Taylor. The stand-up comedian made his mark on TV as TV host and tool- and car-obsessed husband to Jill (Richardson) and father to Brad (Zachery Ty Bryan), Randy (Jonathan Taylor Thomas), and Mark (Taran Noah Smith). Allen has been vocal about wanting to reunite with his former costars for a reboot of their sitcom. In 2023, he told the Messenger, "One of the conversations we've had recently is how weird it would be if Home Improvement would be about the kids' kids. Like if all of them had children, and I'm a grandparent. Home Re-Improvement or something like that. It's come up." Others aren't on the same wavelength; a year after Allen's comments, Richardson said she was never approached about a possible reunion and she wouldn't be interested even if she had. "I wrote a big thing on Twitter and said I'm not involved in any series with Jill and I've also never even been asked to do another Home Improvement reunion thing, but I would not want to," she said during an episode of the Back to the Best podcast Richard cited the legal troubles of onscreen son Bryan — who has been arrested on charges related to domestic violence and a DUI — and the passing of Earl Hindman, who played beloved neighbor Wilson, among other roadblocks. "I mean, Zach is now a felon," she said. "Taran [Noah Smith] hasn't acted since he left the show; he's not an actor anymore. And Jonathan's not really interested in acting. He wants to direct and write. And we don't have Wilson."While guest starring on Shifting Gears isn't quite the Home Improvement reboot fans might be hoping for, it's a sweet treat in the meantime. Donny Osmond remembers the 'very offensive' career advice Michael Jackson gave him
The King of Pop offered a little bit of tough love. Michael Jackson did not mince words when giving advice to Donny Osmond back in the day. Both Osmond and Jackson rose to popularity at a young age as part of their respective family bands, before eventually going off to start their own successful solo careers. But Osmond initially found the transition from child star to adult singer difficult, and asked Jackson, who died in 2009 at age 50, for advice as a result. "The name Donny Osmond was a joke, years ago,' Osmond said in a clip shared recently on his Instagram account, which was initially from his 2023 appearance on The Adam Carolla Show. 'I mean, if you said you like Donny Osmond music, you were ousted.' 'In fact, WPLJ in New York, they got a hold of 'Soldier of Love' as an import,' he added, referring to his 1988 single that was initially not released in the U.S. due to his lack of a record deal. 'They played the record to test it because they liked the song, but they just didn't want to say my name.' The singer then explained to Carolla that circa 1983, after the massive success of Jackson's Thriller album, Osmond remembered asking him, "Mike, how do I get back on the charts?' 'He said, 'Your name's poison, Donny. You gotta change your name,' Osmond recalled, laughing. 'It was very offensive,' Osmond said. 'It was tough to hear that. But he was right, because in '89, radio stations all across the country played my music, but didn't say my name.' He concluded, 'And they did me a favor by not saying who I was, and it became a hit. Then they found out it was me." Osmond previously opened up about his and Jackson's friendship in last year's MTV Entertainment Studios documentary, Larger than Life: Reign of the Boybands. 'I spent a lot of time with Michael Jackson. I mean, you look at the Osmonds and the Jackson 5, the comparisons of the two families are just uncanny," Osmond explained at the time. "There's nine children in each family. Mike and I are both the seventh child of nine. Our mothers' birthdays are on the same day. Michael and I are the same age." The "One Bad Apple" singer also said that he and Jackson would often get together to 'laugh and reminisce' about their similar childhoods and career moves. 'Michael said something to me one day,' he recalled. 'He said, 'Donny, you're the only person on this planet that knows what my childhood was like.''
