A WOMAN has revealed the secret behind her thick and healthy hair - and chances are, you've probably never done it.
We all know by now that shampooing is a must when it comes to maintaining a healthy mane - but according to one beauty buff, Claudia Silva, there's a step many of us skip.

While haircare experts often advise us to only shampoo our scalp, the real-life Rapunzel Claudia recently explained why she also shampoos her hair from top to bottom.
To make it even more effective and ensure the hair follicles are cleansed thoroughly, Claudia also uses a brush to go over her long locks.
Despite some assuming this unusual step is ''damaging'' for the tresses, Claudia recently took to TikTok where she proved everyone wrong.
''I'm giving myself so many split ends, I'm drying my hair out so much - and this is all because I like to brush shampoo through my hair.

''These are 90% of the comments that I receive daily whenever I post a hair brushing video.
''It is not true - my hair is actually the healthiest it's ever been.
''If it was damaging my hair, of course I would stop doing it,'' she told fellow beauty buffs in the video.
Claudia - who reminded that it's never ''one size fits all'' - added that now her favourite thing about her tresses is how ''full and thick'' the ends are.
''I have a few pet peeves when it comes to hair and one of them is long hair with thin ends - I cannot stand that.''
'It's made such a difference!'
Since being posted online, the video has won Claudia more than 560k views in just two days, with dozens flooding to comments.
'It's one of the best I've ever tried' cries Dealz shopper over Marc Jacobs dupe - and it's a steal at €4.50
While many may have not come across this step up until now, there were plenty of those who also swore by the brushing method.
One social media user claimed they've noticed epic results thanks to the easy step.
''I've started brushing shampoo after seeing your videos. It's made such a difference!
How often should you be washing your hair?
Anabel Kingsley, Consultant Trichologist and Brand President at Philip Kingsley spoke exclusively to Fabulous.
You take your hair and scalp to the same places you take your face, and it gets just as dirty.
Your scalp is also a living tissue; it sweats, produces oils and sheds skin cells.
You wouldn't leave two days between washing your face, and you likely wouldn't wear the same outfit more than a few times before washing it – apply the same thinking to your hair.
It is a myth that washing your hair too often causes your hair to get greasier.
''My blow dries last longer and hair is less oily and weighed down.''
Another chimed in: ''I feel like your hair smells so FRESH AND CLEAN.''
A third wrote: ''honestly ever since i tried brushing my shampoo and i never really looked back!''
''I've been doing this for the longest time with my shampoo and conditioner, my hair has never been better,'' commented a viewer.

I'm a size 14 and I tried the new F&F summer clothes – the dresses come with pockets & prices start from just £6

WITH summer now in full swing, many retailers have been adding new stock for thrifty fashionistas. And if you're on the lookout for wallet-friendly options for your next holiday or even a wedding, you may wish to pop down to the local Tesco pronto. 2 The mega supermarket has long been a firm favourite amongst cash-savvy fashion fans - and their latest collection is no exception. Whether you're on the lookout for on-trend leopard print or bloat-friendly frocks, Tesco has it all - and prices start from just £6. One person who was recently left amazed by the latest buys is Chloe Warfield - who also shared some of her top buys on TikTok. The size 14 modelled numerous eye-catching items, from a stunning bright fuchsia maxi dress to trendy shorts. The vibrant dress, priced at an affordable £25, features puff sleeve detailing, as well as a belt that cinches at your waist. The best part? In the video, Chloe also discovered the summery frock comes with pockets - it really doesn't get any better than this. Another buy the shopper got her hands on were shorts with the viral leopard print that's not going out of fashion anytime soon. Chloe snapped up the £18 shorts in size 14 and teamed it with a basic white T-shirt, £6 - another must-have wardrobe staple. To make the fit stand out even more, the stylish TikToker completed the casual ensemble with a pair of tinted aviator sunnies, sandals, a black belt and a purse. It seems like it's certainly worth visiting Tesco if you're short on dresses or have a wedding to attend - as the mega retailer has a huge variety of stunning dresses to bag. I'm 5'3 and a size 10 - Tesco is killing it with their summer co-ords, my haul was amazing & I got 25% off everything too One of these is a frilled maxi dress in vibrant blue for an affordable £36 - it has a flattering V-neckline, as well as a cut at the bottom of the dress that allows you to move freely and without discomfort. The winner of a haul also included fun stripy pyjama-style shorts going for just £12.50 - perfect for heading to the beach or chilling in your garden. Other jaw-dropping dress options included a flowy midi dress in light grey for £32.50, a strappy black maxi dress with frill detailing throughout, £29.50, as well as a sleeveless gown in neutral shades for a wallet-friendly £19.50. How has Tesco's F&F upped its game By Fabulous' Fashion Editor Clemmie Fieldsend ZARA has become a high street staple in recent years thanks to its hot-off-the-catwalk designs and affordable prices. But recently those prices have risen with the brand's popularity. However, if you are looking for high fashion inspired outfits with low price tags you needn't drag yourself to your local shops, just head to the supermarket instead. F&F has come a long way from selling a few backs of T-shirts and fluffy dressing gowns and is now a must have shopping destination for thousands. They produce good quality, long lasting and on trend clothes that puts others to shame. F&F is filled with Zara dupes and other looks inspired by our favourite shops that will set you back less than £50 - and you can get them while you pick up your dinner. I for one love F&F denim, it's durable, fits really well and has all the best silhouettes. So even if you're not looking for reasonable prices but just want good clothes, get yourself to Tesco. Posing with chic sunnies and heeled sandals, Chloe looked incredible - and was delighted to see that this dress too came with side pockets. Praising the brand, the shopper wrote in the caption: ''Ummmm hello TESCO you superstar - thanks for providing this pink dress, leopard shorts & the last dress is just sensational! ''All bought today so will all be fresh in stores for you!'' the fashionista wrote in the caption. 'I'm gonna have to run to Tesco' The new range has clearly impressed many, as the video - posted under the username @ chloewarfieldx - has racked up over 216k views. As close to 8,000 people gave it a like, a further 124 flooded to comments, where one said: ''I'm gonna have to run to Tesco's for those leopard shorts.'' Someone else chimed in: ''Blue dress is 10/10.''
