Hamas: Occupation's obstruction of agreement will only increase suffering of prisoners
Font
Gaza - Saba:
Hamas movement confirmed that the Israeli occupation's attempts to obstruct the agreement will only lead to increasing the suffering of the prisoners and their families, stressing that the only solution to release the occupation's prisoners is negotiation and commitment to the agreement.
The movement announced its full commitment to the ceasefire and its readiness to enter into the second phase negotiations.
Yesterday, the seventh batch of liberated Palestinian prisoners arrived in Ramallah as part of the "Flood of the Free" deal, and included 620 prisoners. The occupation also received the bodies of four of its prisoners through the Red Cross, after Al-Qassam Brigades announced its decision to hand them over.
Hamas called on mediators to pressure the occupation to commit to the agreement, and criticized the double standards in dealing with the issue of Palestinian prisoners compared to the occupation's prisoners.

Israeli navy missile ships strike Yemen's Hodeida port, says military
The Israeli navy struck the Yemeni port of Hodeida on Tuesday using missile ships, the military said, adding the attack was in response to recent launches by Houthi rebels towards Israeli territory. "This morning (Tuesday), Israeli navy missile ships struck terror targets belonging to the Houthi terrorist regime in the port of Hodeida ... following the aggression of the Houthi terrorist regime towards the State of Israel, including the launch of surface-to-surface missiles and UAVs (drones) toward Israeli territory," the military said. "The strikes were carried out to stop the use of the port for military purposes," it said, adding that the port was being "used to transfer weapons". Yemen's rebel-controlled media reported Israeli strikes on the country's main port. The Al-Masirah TV channel said "two strikes by the Israeli enemy targeted the docks of the port of Hodeida". In a post on X, Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz said "we warned the Houthi terror organisation that if they continued firing towards Israel, they would face a powerful response and be subjected to a naval and aerial blockade". Earlier, Colonel Avichay Adraee, an Israeli army spokesman said that "because of the use of maritime ports by the Houthi terrorist regime, we call on all people present" in the ports of Ras Issa, Hodeida and Salif "to evacuate them immediately for their own security" in an Arabic post on X and Telegram. Yemen's Houthi rebels have repeatedly launched missiles and drones at Israel since the Gaza war broke out in October 2023 with Palestinian militant group Hamas's attack on Israel. The Iran-backed group, which says they are acting in solidarity with Palestinians, paused their attacks during a two-month Gaza ceasefire that ended in March, but renewed their assault after Israel resumed its military campaign in the territory. While most of the projectiles have been intercepted, one missile fired in early May hit the perimeter of Ben Gurion airport for the first time. Israel has carried out several strikes in Yemen in retaliation for the attacks, including on ports and the airport in the capital Sanaa.

Hamas: Enemy's crimes, incursions into West Bank will not undermine our people's resolve, adherence to option of resistance, steadfastness
Gaza – Saba: Hamas leader in Palestine Abdulrahman Shadid stressed on Tuesday that the crimes of the Zionist enemy and its aggression against the Old City of Nablus and all West Bank governorates will not grant them security, but rather will lead to further defeat and disappointment. Shadid said in a press statement distributed by Hamas media, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that "the enemy's crimes and escalating incursions into the West Bank will not undermine our people's resolve and adherence to the option of resistance, steadfastness, and the protection of their land and holy sites, no matter the cost." He pointed out that "the resistance's painful blows to the enemy will remain present in all West Bank governorates despite all its crimes and brutality, and that its plans to implement annexation and displacement will only be doomed to failure under the rock of our people's steadfastness and resistance." Hamas leader called on the Palestinian people in the West Bank to unite under the banner of resistance and confrontation, to ignite all areas of conflict with the Zionist enemy and its settlers, and to prevent its crimes from going unpunished. Israeli enemy army kills 8 Palestinians, including child, near aid center west of Rafah
Gaza – Saba: Eight Palestinian citizens, including a child, were martyred on Tuesday by Israeli enemy army fire near an aid distribution center in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip. The Palestinian News Agency, Wafa, reported that 12-year-old Mohammed Khalil al-Athamneh was martyred by Israeli enemy army fire near an aid distribution center in the central Gaza Strip. It confirmed that seven citizens were killed and others were wounded by Israeli army fire near an aid center west of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip. A citizen was injured when Israeli enemy army artillery fired shells at a gathering of civilians near Netzarim checkpoint in the central Gaza Strip. It's worth noting that over the past few days, Israeli forces have targeted Palestinians seeking food at aid distribution points, both in Rafah and the central Gaza Strip, resulting in dozens of deaths and injuries. This move, according to UN confirmations, is intended to forcefully displace residents, part of what appears to be a strategy of ethnic cleansing. The aid distribution centers of the so-called "Gaza Humanitarian Relief Foundation," a Zionist-American organization rejected by the UN, have turned into traps for mass killings, in addition to deliberately humiliating Palestinians and forcing them to flee amid catastrophic humanitarian conditions. The government media office in Gaza confirmed, a short while ago, in a statement that the number of martyrs at the "Israeli-American aid distribution centers" since Tuesday morning has risen to 36 martyrs, and more than 208 injuries, bringing the total number of victims at the "Israeli-American aid distribution centers" to 163 martyrs and 1,495 injuries, all of whom are starving civilians searching for a living under siege and starvation.
