That's not all, the Golden State Warriors veteran also gave his honest remark on the matter, showering praise for his teammates. 'Beautiful, beautiful,' Green told the reporters post-game. 'You don't back down from anybody and they didn't. So, I like it,' Green added, giving his stamp of approval.
In a late-game scuffle, Warriors guard Pat Spencer was ejected after headbutting Rockets All-Star Alperen Sengun.
Sengun bumped into Pat Spencer, who immediately reacted with a headbutt to the Rockets star's face. Before things could get further out of hand, Trayce Jackson-Davis shoved Sengun away, and both benches quickly got involved to diffuse the situation.
The officials reviewed the sequence and handed out technical fouls to Sengun and Jackson-Davis for their roles in the scuffle. Spencer, however, was assessed a flagrant technical and promptly ejected from the game for what officials described as an 'illegal headbutt.'
Despite the altercation, the Rockets never lost their grip on the game. The win pushes the series to a Game 6, which is set for Friday night at Chase Center in San Francisco. And after this dust-up, the atmosphere is bound to be even more intense.

New York Knicks' coaching hunt hits snag as Houston Rockets refuse permission to speak with Ime Udoka
Ime Udoka. Image via: Michael Dwyer/ AP The New York Knicks' search for a new head coach has already hit roadblocks as multiple teams have shut down their efforts to interview top-tier candidates. After surprisingly parting ways with Tom Thibodeau following their Eastern Conference Finals loss to the Indiana Pacers, the Knicks began exploring replacements. But their list of desired names has been met with firm resistance, especially from the Houston Rockets, who reportedly rejected their formal request to speak with head coach Ime Udoka. Houston Rockets reportedly shut down New York Knicks' approach for Ime Udoka As the New York Knicks move swiftly through their search for a new leader on the sidelines, they set their sights on Ime Udoka. But the Houston Rockets wasted no time in denying them access. According to SNY's Ian Begley, "Knicks formally reached out to Rockets for permission to talk to head coach Ime Udoka and Rockets denied permission, per people familiar with Rockets' stance." Begley also confirmed a similar response from the Minnesota Timberwolves when New York tried to connect with their head coach. '@MikeFrancesa said Knicks reached out to Minnesota and were denied permission to talk to Chris Finch,' Begley added. The Athletic's Kelly Iko previously noted that the Rockets had no interest in entertaining any Udoka-to-NY scenario. This isn't the only coaching candidate the Knicks have eyed. Dallas Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd is also on their radar. While there's been no formal request made yet, ESPN's Brian Windhorst said, "There is mutual intrigue on both sides." Kidd, who ended his playing career in New York and previously coached the Brooklyn Nets, could be an ideal fit. However, insiders believe Dallas will push back if an official request comes in. 'Dallas... can simply refuse to grant the Knicks permission to speak with Kidd once formally asked,' wrote Marc Stein in his newsletter. James Edwards III echoed the sentiment in The Athletic, saying, 'When that time comes, per multiple league sources, the expectation is that the Mavericks will deny that request.' Also Read: 'Y'all gotta stop': Kyrie Irving demands fans to stop humiliating Karl-Anthony Towns So far, the Knicks' top targets have either been unreachable or untouchable. With Houston and Minnesota standing firm, and Dallas unlikely to cooperate, the Knicks' coaching search may be entering difficult territory. Regardless, the hunt continues.

"How you think I got so great?" — Kevin Durant torches trolls in blistering online showdown over his legacy
Kevin Durant. Image via: Getty Images Kevin Durant is having his offseason fun in his own unique way, as he was found defending his legacy against fans on social media. The Phoenix Suns star ignited a fiery back-and-forth online this week, defending his legacy in response to a flood of criticism about his postseason record since leaving the Golden State Warriors. Though the 36-year-old has come up short in the playoffs in recent years, Durant clarified that his greatness is not up for debate. Kevin Durant reminds critics why he's still elite It all started when a fan revisited Durant's rocky playoff run with the Brooklyn Nets, questioning his performance in the 2022 first-round sweep against Boston. Durant's quick-fire comebacks online sparked attention. 'It's a team sport, I'm not playing tennis,' Durant wrote on X. 'Of course not, ima perfectionist, how u think I got so great?? Did u use those 4 games as a declaration of my talent?' he snapped back. The criticism kept coming, this time aimed at his decision to leave the Warriors and how little success he's had since. Another fan claimed Durant's career has taken a nosedive post-Golden State. That lit the fuse. 'Saying I haven't done much is just an opinion without facts,' Durant fired off. 'If you want to talk about me as an individual, fine, but you can't separate my story from my teammates and the teams I've been part of. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Thị trường có dấu hiệu suy thoái không? 'All-Stars, 50/40/90 club, All-NBA honors, efficient scoring, a career-high in assists one season, over 30,000 career points, Olympic gold medals, MVP awards — what a career, and I'm still going strong,' he declared. When fans mocked him for replying at all, Durant stayed defiant. 'I'm minding my business, a guy sends a random tweet about how he doesn't like my career. I respond, saying I disagree, but I'm the insecure one?' he wrote. 'To me, the person who started it is the insecure one.' He added, 'Well this script been primetime tv since 2007 brother. Interpret it however u want, that's what ART is!! Enjoy' When another fan asked about not winning championship after his Warriors run, he again asserted that it has never been his fault, 'We couldn't get it done brother, WE. He asked about ME specifically brother, ME.' Ross Cameron-Imagn Images) The Golden State Warriors are reportedly considering a bold sign-and-trade deal to acquire ex- Atlanta Hawks forward John Collins, potentially sending young star Jonathan Kuminga the other way. This move aims to address the Warriors' glaring need for consistent scoring beyond Stephen Curry. Why the Golden State Warriors Need an Offensive Boost Golden State Warriors ' lack of reliable scorers outside Curry was exposed in their 2025 Western Conference Semi-Finals loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. While Kuminga showed flashes of brilliance, his restricted free agency status makes him a prime trade asset for a team seeking an immediate upgrade. The Jazz, meanwhile, are open to trading Collins after he opts into his $26.5 million expiring contract. As reported by Evan Sidery: "The Jazz plan to explore trade scenarios for John Collins once he opts into his $26.5 million expiring contract. Collins averaged 18.9 points and 8.2 rebounds on a 62.8 TS% with Utah this season." John Collins: A Perfect Fit for the Golden State Warriors? John Collins brings a mix of athleticism, floor spacing, and efficiency that could elevate the Golden State Warriors' offense. Collins' expiring $26.5 million contract could be matched via a sign-and-trade involving Kuminga, who is due for a new deal.
