Usher, Ne-Yo Were Present When Diddy Punched Cassie At Party, Dawn Richard Testifies
The Diddy-Dirty Money singer claims the incident took place in a restaurant where Combs and Ventura were 'quietly' arguing when Combs allegedly punched her in the stomach, causing her to double over in pain.
'She immediately bent over, he [Combs] told her to leave,' Richard testified. 'No one intervened.' Usher, Ne-Yo, record exec Jimmy Iovine and 'other celebrities' were allegedly present in the restaurant, but Richard did not testify that they directly witnessed the alleged moment of abuse.
Richard added that she rode home with the couple and witnessed Cassie be assaulted again for saying Combs 'embarrassed' her.
'He grabbed her by the neck and popped her, slapped her in the mouth,' Richard testified, adding that Combs then said to Ventura, 'Shut the f**k up.'
'He would tell her he owned her,' Richard added. 'I told her he should leave. Cass looked torn. She would listen, but I could see the fear.'
Richard previously recalled the evening in question in her September 2024 lawsuit against the No Way Out artist.
'In front of dinner guests, Mr. Combs hissed at Ms. Ventura in a screaming whisper and forcefully punched her in the stomach causing her to double over in visible pain, crying,' the lawsuit reads. 'Ms Clark escorted Ms. Ventura out of the restaurant and Mr. Combs remained and continued socializing with dinner guests.'
Diddy's attorney Erica Wolff addressed Richard's lawsuit at the time, telling VIBE in a statement, 'Mr. Combs is shocked and disappointed by this lawsuit. In an attempt to rewrite history, Dawn Richard has now manufactured a series of false claims all in the hopes of trying to get a pay day — conveniently timed to coincide with her album release and press tour.'
It continues, 'If Ms. Richard had such a negative experience with Making the Band and Danity Kane, she would not have chosen to continue working directly with Mr. Combs for Dirty Money, nor would she have returned for the Making the Band reboot in 2020 or agreed to be featured on The Love Album last year. It's unfortunate that Ms. Richard has cast their 20-year friendship aside to try and get money from him, but Mr. Combs is confidently standing on truth and looks forward to proving that in court.'

The 41-year-old is currently promoting his book, Cudi: The Memoir, and while doing so, he's also been asked about the last time he was peppered with questions, which was earlier this year when he was subpoenaed to testify against Diddy in his federal sex trafficking and racketeering case. During a recent conversation on the Call Her Daddy podcast, he admitted to host Alex Cooper that he felt uneasy on the stand. ' I was just there because I had to be,' he said . 'I hated every minute of it.' But he goes on to explain that he found solace in knowing that he was doing it for Cassie. We care about your data. See our privacy policy. 'I've always just wanted to see her thrive and do well and be happy because I know she was living a nightmare,' he said. 'And I was just there to support her. That's what kind of gave me peace with it when I sat down in that chair.' When he testified, he told the horrifying stories of how Diddy treated him when he found out he'd been dating Cassie. He remembers the Bad Boy CEO breaking into his home and locking his dog in a bathroom. During another incident, Cudi alleges that Diddy tossed a Molotov cocktail at his Porsche, which set it on fire. That's when Cudi decided to end his short-lived relationship with Cassie out of fear of continued violence, and remembers confronting Diddy about the attempted car bombing, saying he was standing 'with his hands behind his back like a Marvel supervillain.' At the trial's conclusion, Diddy was acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering but found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, which carries a few years in prison. Despite several attempts to get out on a $50 million bond and remain confined to his Miami mansion, he is still in a Brooklyn jail cell awaiting an Oct. 3 sentencing date. Aronofsky: I wanted to bring a documentary vibe to the film. I couldn't think of another horror film in this vein that was shot with a handheld camera. I thought it might take away from the intensity of a scene because the look of it sorta always reminds you there's someone operating the camera. It was a bit of a risk, but it allowed us to break that fourth wall of how one typically shoots theater, and actually go onstage to dance with Natalie. We had to do a lot of takes with a lot of repetition, and it was pretty physically tough on the two of them. Were there any scenes you found particularly challenging? Kunis: We would shoot those dancing scenes for hours, and I had bruises all over my ribs just from being lifted over and over again. I also dislocated my shoulder pretty early in the production and thought I was completely screwed, but Darren sent me to an acupuncturist and I somehow came out totally fine. I learned that it's fun to work with your friend until you have to film a sex scene with them. I remember Darren being like, 'You guys only have to do it once and you won't have to do it again.' And he kept his word, we went for it and we didn't have to do any of it more than once. But that was definitely the one scene where I remember getting to set and thinking, I don't feel good about this.

Lelo's Sona 3 Cruise Vibrator Doesn't Offer Much New
One of my biggest gripes about the sex toy industry—and the tech industry for that matter—is that there's a lot of iteration. New versions of already great products arrive every few years, with very minor changes, and you're left wondering what the latest brings to the table outside of a higher price. Many sex toy brands are guilty of this, from Womanizer and We-Vibe to Dame. Lelo's new Sona 3 Cruise falls into this camp as well, even if its predecessor arrived five years ago. This vibrator doesn't bring much new to the table. For anyone who's a fan of the Sona line and feels their existing model is failing in some way—maybe the battery is conking out, or it doesn't charge properly—the Sona 3 Cruise is a natural upgrade. Or you could save cash and stick with the older tried-and-true Sona 2 Cruise. Minimal Changes Courtesy of Lelo Like its predecessors, the Sona 3 Cruise is made of body-safe silicone and ABS plastic. It's ultra-smooth to touch, and when paired with water-based lube, it glides over whatever area you're stimulating. Fun fact: The Sona line may have been designed with the clitoris in mind, but if you like nipple stimulation, it feels wonderful there too. When fully charged, which takes about two hours, the Sona 3 can deliver two hours of run time. That's in line with most Lelo products. Similarly, the device is 100 percent waterproof and features the company's Cruise Control function (it's in the name!), so when you press the vibrator down harder on your body as you get close to climax, the motors don't slow down but actually offer a bit of a boost. The only 'big' difference with the Sona 3 Cruise is in the vibration settings. The original Sona Cruise had eight, the Sona 2 Cruise had 12, and the Sona 3 Cruise bumps that up to 16. I'm no Nostradamus, but if Lelo releases a Sona 4 Cruise, I'm willing to bet it will have 20 vibration settings. If it ain't broke, don't fix it—I know, but it's OK to shake things up a bit. There doesn't seem to be much here to warrant a whole new product. Oh, and the Sona 3 is app-controlled, a standard feature on most Lelo products today, and it enables long-distance play. If you're using the app solo, not only do you have the intensities and patterns to choose from on your phone, but you can also adjust the intensity by rotating the phone. If you want to delve into advanced mode, you can let the Sona 3 take over by choosing one of the following options: Out of Control or Finish Me Off. For the record, Out of Control is exactly that. It bounces all around with intensities and patterns, and how anyone could find such mayhem enjoyable is beyond me. The Sona 3 debuts what Lelo calls SmoothRise Technology, meant to create a smooth transition between intensity levels. I've always felt like older Sona Cruise products moved fairly seamlessly from one intensity to the next, so I'm not exactly sure what the latest generation is doing differently. Annoyingly, the vibrator's charger is still proprietary. Is it so hard to add a USB-C port? Underwhelming Update Courtesy of Lelo I've always liked the Lelo Sona line quite a bit. I can't say I was disappointed with the Sona 3 Cruise, but it didn't leave me with a memorable experience. The sonic pulses feel good, the extra intensities are nice ot have, but I'm not running around town recommending this vibrator to everyone I meet. The Lelo Dot, on the other hand, is a whole other story. I can't stop talking about that clitoral vibrator; it's going to ruin me for everything else that comes my way. If you're a big fan of the Lelo Sona Cruise line and have been waiting for it to be app-controlled, then the Sona 3 is for you. If you've felt that the older models weren't intense enough, then that's another good reason to buy the Sona 3. But if you already have a Lelo Sona Cruise, whether it's the original or Sona 2, and you love it, there's no need to upgrade, especially if it gets the job done. Save your money or invest it in something new and exciting. You know, like the Lelo Dot.
