Police urge anyone who has information to get in touch
North Wales Police released this statement late last night, as they urged the public to get in touch if they have any information:
North Wales Police would like to thank members of the public for contacting 101 for potential sightings and information.
We have increasing concerns for Athrun as he is a vulnerable person.
Athrun was last seen at 14.00 hours today (Saturday 10th) at West Shore Beach in Llandudno. He is 6 foot, brown hair, and has blue eyes. He was wearing blue and white patterned swim shorts only, no footwear. He is not wearing hearing protection as featured in the image.
Inspector Rachel Hare would urge people residing in the vicinity to check their gardens, sheds and outbuildings. ''I would like to thank the public for the potential sightings so far, these have been checked out and negated.''

Leaping from a historic bridge in Betws-y-Coed represents a treasured local custom but in recent years the activity has been discouraged. North Wales Police constables have started patrolling the vicinity around Pont-y-Pair bridge, a road crossing over the Afon Llugwy constructed more than 500 years ago. This follows concerns that gangs of young troublemakers have been "causing havoc" on the bridge and behaving in a "hostile" manner whilst leaping 20ft into the waters beneath. Because of the health and safety dangers, at one stage the location was subject to a Police Public Space Protection Order. A CCTV camera was fitted with jumpers threatened with penalties up to £100. Last week a multi-agency meeting was conducted in the Conwy village to discuss "social disorder and bridge jumping" - and to determine if restrictions can once more be enforced. Betws-y-Coed Community Council acknowledged the tombstoning tradition has been continuing since "time in memoriam", reports North Wales Live. However, in a statement, the council said: "In recent times there has been a noticeable marked shift in behaviour and the characters it attracts, which contributes to social disorder, drug usage and alcohol-related anti-social behaviour." Article continues below Last month, chaos ensued when a large group of young visitors descended on the village, causing disruption and leaving litter in their wake. The local council described the incident as an "unpleasant experience", marked by threatening behaviour as the youngsters jumped into the river and blocked the bridge to traffic. During a recent meeting, staff from Natural Resources Wales recounted similar incidents at Llyn Geirionydd near Trefriw and the Miner's Bridge near Betws-y-Coed. They reported groups of young people wild camping, lighting fires, and openly using alcohol and recreational drugs. A recent episode of BBC's SOS: Extreme Rescues featured a 24 year old man who sustained serious injuries after jumping from Pont-y-Pair. The situation was particularly perilous as the Coastguard helicopter was unable to winch a stretcher into the narrow gorge. With other mountain rescue teams engaged elsewhere, it fell to a small team of six volunteers to transport him across the fast-flowing river on a stretcher. Conwy Council has committed to investigating existing community byelaws to determine if any can be applied to bridge jumping, and to identify who holds enforcement powers. Such is the level of concern within the village that the community council is willing to utilise its own funds to find a solution. They stated: "The community council will obtain a cost for the installation of CCTV which will be live monitored at the patrol room. "If the CCTV camera was to be replaced and live monitored, the police would respond to an alert from the camera control room staff." British dad found dead in water during Turkey holiday boat trip with his son
A fundraiser has been set up to help the family of Scottish dad John Nelson, 47, who was found dead in the water, while on holiday with his son, near Marmaris in Turkey A Brit family's holiday ended in tragedy after a loving dad was found dead in water while on a boat trip near Marmaris in Turkey. John Nelson, from Arbroath in Scotland, was on vacation with his son Josh and Josh's girlfriend Sharon Stuart, when he was died on July 31 off the coast of Turnuc. Sailors from others boats pulled the 47-year-old from the water and passed him into the care of paramedics and the Coastguard, but sadly nothing could be done to save him. An investigation by the local police into the dad's death has now been launched. Paying tribute to his dad online, Josh wrote: "While we were away on a family holiday, my dad's life was tragically taken in an accident at sea. It's a loss that has shaken my whole world and one I'm still struggling to put into words. "My dad was my role model, my biggest supporter and my best friend. We shared so many laughs, deep conversations and special moments together. "Over the last few years, I watched him transform his health, overcome many obstacles and push through some of life's biggest struggles. He came out stronger, happier and more full of life than ever before. He truly cherished every day he was given." Now, John's family have set up a fundraiser to help cover his funeral costs, the Daily Record reports. Josh added: "Many of you know me from Impact Carnoustie, where I work as a personal trainer. "My work and community mean so much to me and it's hard to step away at a time like this - but my family and I are now facing the difficult task of arranging the funeral and covering the costs. "I've set up a fundraiser to help us during this heartbreaking time. Any donation, no matter the amount, would mean the world to us. If you're unable to donate, sharing this would be an incredible help. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the love, kindness and support you've shown me and my family." A tribute from John's partner Sharon added: "We are totally heartbroken to announce the passing of John Nelson, whose life was tragically taken away at sea during our first family holiday in Turkey. "We are lost for words and devastated. John had turned his life around for the better. We were so proud off him and we're just so grateful he got the chance to spent this last time on holiday with his son Josh, living his best life. Our lives will never be the same without him." A Foreign Office spokesperson said: "We have not been approached for assistance on this case, but our staff stand ready to assist British nationals overseas 24/7." Man dies after collision between Range Rover and multiple motorcycles Another man is in hospital with serious injuries following the crash on Friday evening A man has died after a multi-vehicle collision on the B5430 at Bwlchgwyn, Wrexham (Image: Google) Police are investigating a fatal collision involving four motorcycles and a Range Rover Evoque. North Wales Police is now appealing for witnesses after the collision on the B5430 at Bwlchgwyn, Wrexham shortly after 7.30pm on Friday, August 15. The male rider of one of the motorcycles was pronounced dead at the scene despite the best efforts of emergency services. Another rider suffered serious injuries in the collision and was taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital, where he continues to receive treatment. The road was closed for several hours while initial accident investigation work took place.
