Graham Norton reveals Remember Monday's ‘great advantage' for Eurovision

Speaking about the entries this year, he said: 'It's a big year for party anthems and the two that stand out for me are Miriana Conte representing Malta, and Emmy (Kristiansen) for Ireland with an unlikely banger about an immortal dog (unfortunately they didn't make it through to the Grand Final).

Snoop Dogg to headline the pre-game entertainment at this year's AFL Grand Final

Was Snoop Dogg performing at the MCG on Grand Final Day on your bingo card for 2025? It certainly wasn't on ours, but hey, we're not mad about it! In one of the most unexpected pairings of the year, the legendary American rapper – best known for hits like 'Drop It Like It's Hot', 'Young, Wild and Free' and 'Gin and Juice' – is headlining the pre-game entertainment on the biggest day of the AFL calendar. Yep, the D. O. Double G himself will take to the 'G on September 27, to hype up the crowds before the teams run onto the ground. It will be his first-ever live appearance at the famous stadium, and if his performance at the 2022 Super Bowl LVI is anything to go by (he shared the stage with Dr Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar in what's widely considered one of the best halftime shows ever), we're in for a treat. The Snoop Dogg reveal comes off the back of a string of big-name international acts starring as entertainment on AFL Grand Final Day, with Katy Perry wowing the crowd last year, while Robbie Williams, Kiss and The Killers have also all featured on the line-up. 'It's an absolute honour to be hitting the stage at the AFL Grand Final,' said Snoop Dogg. 'It's one of the biggest events on the Aussie calendar. Can't wait to bring the energy and celebrate with the fans. Let's make it unforgettable.' Snoop Dogg's last tour of Australia was in 2023, when he played two shows at Rod Laver Arena. The rapper, producer and actor is regarded as one of the most influential rap artists of all time, with a career spanning more than three decades. While tickets for the AFL Grand Final are notoriously hard to get your hands on, you can win your way in via this money-can't-buy-competition run by CUB. The exclusive experience includes a sleepover at the 'G on Grand Final Eve, plus tickets to the big game – so you'll be able to see Snoop do his thing from the comfort of your own private hospitality suite. So, will the Bulldogs make the Grand Final? On Snoop Dogg's behalf, that's what we're hoping for! The AFL Grand Final will kick off at 2.30pm on Saturday, September 27.

Sarah Paulson, 50, and longtime partner Holland Taylor, 82, celebrate pal's Emmy nomination at Steak 48 in Beverly Hills

Sarah Paulson and her longtime partner Holland Taylor stepped out to celebrate their friend's Emmy nomination on Saturday. The American Horror Story actress, 50, and Two And A Half Men star, 82, first met in 2005, but didn't begin dating until a decade later after they reconnected over social media. And they looked as smitten as ever as they attended a dinner at celebrity hot spot Steak 48 in Beverly Hills celebrating their friend Katherine LaNasas's Best Supporting Actress Emmy nomination for her role in The Pitt. The event was attended by a host of Katherine's friends, as well as her The Pitt co-stars and creative team. For the evening, Holland donned a chic white silk shirt paired with a neck tie, while Sarah opted for a sleek black suit. Despite their long-term romance, the couple, who have a 32-year age gap, have no plans to marry anytime soon. In August, Holland revealed why she and Sarah have no plans to marry after nine years of dating. While appearing on Andy Cohen 's SiriusXM show, the Emmy Award winner made a rare remark about her relationship. She explained why she doesn't believe they will ever tie the knot. 'I don't think [we'll get married],' Taylor, who typically keeps her love life out of the spotlight, said. 'No. We've never talked about it with any interest.' The queer icon, best known for portraying Judge Roberta Kittleson on ABC's The Practice, noted that a legal contract just 'doesn't seem to mean to [them] what it means to a lot of people.' She went on to pointed out that they wanted to walk down the aisle than they 'would.' After Andy said he loves how in love they seem, Holland gushed that they 'do have a wonderful resonance.' 'We are very interested in the same kinds of things, and yet we share big differences,' the star added. Still Holland said their age gap does cause some 'big generational' differences that 'worry' her, at times. 'But what can I do?' the performer asked. 'A lot of the things that she is going through that are very emotionally important to her right now, I went through 30 years ago or 40 years ago.' Neither Holland or Sarah have ever been married. Previously, Sarah was engaged to playwright Tracy Letts. In an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in January 2019, Sarah admitted Holland sneaked into her DMs after they began to follow each other on Twitter. She gushed about her partner in September on the Dear Chelsea podcast with comedian Chelsea Handler, 50. Sarah said: 'I think she's the smartest, wisest, funniest, most extraordinary person I've ever met. So I can't imagine not being with her. I just can't.' 'I just feel very, very lucky to be around someone so incredibly witty and funny and smart and, I think, incredibly sexy.' 'I find her to be the most beautiful woman. I tell her all the time, like, she's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen and she always will be.'

The singer earned a Primetime Emmy award for her Netflix special, Beyoncé Bowl It brings the singer one step closer to EGOT status - so what else does she need to win to complete the feat? Beyoncé has added yet another award to her mantle overnight, but it's a first-time win at the ceremony in question. The singer is set to be awarded the Primetime Emmy award after the Television Academy announced the winners of the 77th Emmy Awards in juried categories on Tuesday for her costume design in her Netflix special Beyoncé Bowl, in the category of Outstanding Costumes for Variety, Nonfiction or Reality Programming. It marks the first time in her career that she has earned an Emmy win. Beyoncé Bowl was a halftime show on NFL Christmas Gameday in Houston, Texas, which at its peak drew in over 27 million viewers in the United States alone, making it the most-streamed NFL game in history at the time. The win also puts her one step towards earning the coveted EGOT - but what does Beyoncé need to complete that achievement? What is an EGOT? An EGOT is a highly coveted and rare achievement in the entertainment industry. The acronym stands for the four major American awards in performing arts: an Emmy for television, a Grammy for music, an Oscar for film, and a Tony for theatre. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad To become an EGOT winner, an individual must win at least one competitive award from each of these four ceremonies. This "grand slam" of show business has been achieved by only a select few, including notable figures such as Richard Rodgers, Rita Moreno, Audrey Hepburn, Whoopi Goldberg, and John Legend. What does Beyoncé need to earn the EGOT? With a record-breaking 35 Grammy Awards and now a Primetime Emmy under her belt, Beyoncé only needs two more award wins to complete the EGOT. They would be an Oscar victory, which the singer came close to achieving after 'Be Alive' from the movie 'King Richard' earned a Best Original Song nod, and a Tony Award, which she has yet to receive a nomination for in her career. But at only 43 years of age, there's plenty of time for her to swap the stadium for the stage and potentially earn that Tony nomination. What other pop superstar is one award closer to winning the EGOT than Beyoncé? Check out our article on the other candidate for EGOT success.
