Brit Eady files $20million lawsuit against Bravo amid 'revenge porn' drama with Kenya Moore

Real Housewives Of Atlanta castmember Brit Eady has filed a lawsuit against Bravo, NBC, and production companies for the reality show after last year's 'revenge porn' incident has sent the season 16 reunion into chaos.
According to court documents obtained by DailyMail.com on Friday, Eady filed a $20million lawsuit over her portrayal on the show Thursday as she alleges defamation, emotional distress, sexual harassment and a hostile work environment.
The suit is centered around a moment which aired in April on episode five of the current season 16 as it featured the moment when Kenya Moore reportedly showed explicit posters of castmate Brit Eady allegedly performing oral sex amidst filming in June 2024 as she has since claimed that it wasn't her in the images.
Moore was then suspended 'indefinitely' from the series. However, she had stated that she was 'not going anywhere' and also called out the network for being a 'toxic environment.'
In addition to Bravo and NBC production companies for RHOA, Truly Original and Endemol Shine North America, are named in the lawsuit as the castmember alleges defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, false light and sexual harassment and hostile work environment.
DailyMail.com has reached out to representatives for Bravo, Eady, Moore, Endemol Shine North America and Truly Original for comment and have yet to hear back.

As Moore had been working for the network at the time, Eady is also suing Bravo by respondeat superior, which is a legal doctrine that holds employers responsible for the wrongful conduct of their employees.
In the legal notice, Eady calls Moore's statements about her 'false, defamatory, harassing and damaging.'
Eady also claims that the explicit images are not of herself and that she 'did not see the explicit photograph until after certain of these events were aired on Bravo nearly a year late.'
The filing reads: 'Defendants willfully, intentionally, recklessly, and/or with gross negligence produced, edited, and aired an episode of RHOA on April 6, 2025 that included footage of certain of the cast member's statements at issue as well as commentary from other cast members that described the photographs displayed.
'Further, the manner in which the episode was aired falsely yet unmistakably implied that the graphic sexual photograph presented by the cast member depicted [Eady].
'On information and belief, Defendants knew that the photograph did not depict [Eady], or, at the least, were reckless or grossly negligent in failing to learn that the photograph did not depict [Eady].'
Eady also went on to allege that she had attempted to see the photo before the episode had aired but Bravo had 'refused' to show it to her.
According to the filing: 'By the way of foregoing, Defendants contributed to the hostile work environment for [Eady] and sexually harassed Plaintiff by subjecting [Eady] to unwelcome, offensive, and sexualized behavior and comments based on her gender by requiring her to continue working in an environment in which she had been subject to a gendered attack, creating an inferior condition or privilege of employment because of her gender.'
According to court documents obtained by DailyMail.com on Friday, Eady (pictured) filed a $20million lawsuit over her portrayal on the show Thursday as she alleges defamation, emotional distress, sexual harassment and a hostile work environment
The legal document concluded by requesting 'the immediate removal of the episode from public access on all platforms, networks, and media outlets in the Defendants' control,' along with a public statement acknowledging the episode shared a false depiction of Eady and a monetary reward that included the legal fees.'
It also reads that if the defendants 'fail to appear,' Eady asked that a judgement be issued for 'the sum of not less than $20 million, with interest, and the costs and fees of this action.'
The lawsuit was filed on the same day that the season 16 reunion was filmed which was thrown into chaos as Eady and Moore were not on set.
Moore jumped to X to issue a statement to her followers and expressed she was 'disappointed' to not take part in the reunion while also issuing an apology.
'I'm disappointed to not be a part of the #RHOA 16 reunion taping today,' the TV personality began.
'Please know I take full accountability for my actions and deeply apologize to all those affected including Brittney, the cast, crew, guests and viewers.'
The reality star then seemingly teased a possible return to the show by adding, 'I look forward to seeing you all back on Bravo soon.'
Eady - who was also absent from the reunion taping - issued a statement of her own on her Instagram stories on Thursday.
Brit confirmed that she was not making an appearance in the reunion - but also claimed that she was actually not in the explicit posters that Moore had shown.
'As everyone is now aware, I'm not attending the Reunion. This was my decision. The events of this season have devastated me.'
She continued, 'And while I cannot say much right now, I do want to set the record straight about one thing: the graphic sexual photo surrounding the events in Episode 5. That photo was not me.
Eady explained that she initially did not see the picture and was simply 'made aware' of the image being showcased at Moore's hair salon event.
Brit wrote that 'based on what I was told, assumed that it was somehow a photo of me - which is why I reacted in the way that I did.
Brit confirmed that she was not making an appearance in the reunion - but also claimed that she was actually not in the explicit posters that Moore had shown
'I do not know who was in that photo, but upon seeing it for the first time recently, I now know it was not me. I look forward to seeking accountability and moving past this dark part of my life. - Brit.'
Sources informed TMZ that Bravo had wanted to film a one-on-one interview with Moore and Andy Cohen - which ended up not taking place.
A separate insider told People that Eady chose to not attend the reunion taping while Moore was 'not invited.'
Back in April, an episode titled About Last Night during the 16th season featured the moment when Moore had presented explicit photos which allegedly showed Eady performing oral sex.
A message from the production appeared during the episode which read: 'Based on Kenya's behavior, the decision was made to cease filming with her this season.'
The RHOA fan account @atlanta_housewives posted the message to Instagram and fans rallied behind Moore, with some calling her exit from the season 'unfair.'
Eady had been feuding with Kenya since joining the reality series. In the episode leading up to the scene in question, Brittany seemingly threatened Moore not long after a group dinner.
'I don't play them games, I got whips, pistols, everything,' she had said at the time.
The RHOA fan account @atlanta_housewives posted the message to Instagram and fans rallied behind Moore, with some calling her exit from the season 'unfair'
In response while leaving the dinner, Kenya expressed: 'She talking about guns, she was talking about, "I still got my pistol on me." This girl is a problem. She gotta go, she gotta go for real, for real. Please let her do something to me, so she can go!'
And during the specific episode of the incident, Moore celebrated the grand opening of her hair spa and some other cast members stopped by to help celebrate the big milestone.
Eady also showed up with flowers as an apology for starting up a feud earlier in the season.
However, Kenya notably did not accept the peace offering and said that Brittany was only using the situation for a 'moment' and insinuated the apology was not genuine.
Moore then showed an explicit poster board at the event that allegedly showed Eady performing oral sex.
The cast was left shocked over the move and Porsha Williams stepped out of the shop and stated, 'I want to just take my mic off. You can just act like I was never at this event.'
The episode officially concluded with the message from the production that a decision had been that Moore would not film the rest of the season.
The incident was first revealed last year in June when Kenya was suspended 'indefinitely' from RHOA following claims that she shared adult images of Eady - which she denied doing at the time.
She took to her Instagram stories and wrote, 'Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see. The truth always comes to light.'
And in a separate post, Moore penned on X: 'I would never engage in revenge porn, I have never distributed private images, nor solicited images owned by others to use or threaten or blackmail.
'I have always been vindicated. I can't talk about STORY even with people planting fake news.'
Eady also shared a statement on Instagram that read, 'It's never a good feeling being targeted or HAZED by someone I thought would embrace me into a new circle, that I never met.
'For the record, I've never once had possession of any weapons or threatened anyone ever. I am hurt by the narrative that's being displayed. Wrong is wrong.'
After her suspension was confirmed, Moore called out Bravo for being a 'toxic environment.'
And in a separate post, Moore penned on X: 'I would never engage in revenge porn, I have never distributed private images, nor solicited images owned by others to use or threaten or blackmail'
She further shut down the claims on Instagram and revealed she has 'proof' for her defense.
RHOA star Kelli Ferrell offered her thoughts about Moore's firing during an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com last month in May.
'[It was] surprising for everybody. I mean, who would've thought that that would be our final time in filming.
'I just felt like it was so many other things that we had left to discuss and talk about and connect on,' Ferrell added. 'I mean it's unfortunate. I think [for] all parties, it's just unfortunate.'
Kelli also revealed she still will message Moore 'from time to time' and added, 'I love Kenya. I think Kenya is so amazing. I think she's such a boss. Me and Kenya had so many amazing things in common and I really wish her well. I really do.'
Also in April, Moore took to her YouTube channel to address the 'revenge porn' incident and issued an apology; Kenya seen in 2024 in Atlanta
The reality star also expressed that she 'hopes' Kenya can return to the Real Housewives franchise.
'I mean, Kenny and I had so many amazing moments together and I hope that we could film together again soon.'
Also in April, Moore took to her YouTube channel to address the 'revenge porn' incident and issued an apology.
'It was wrong. I should not have done it at my salon I worked so hard for. I am very sorry that I shared the photos because it wasn't right. I did not break the law, and I'm very sorry for what I did...'

LOS ANGELES, June 9 (Reuters) - Kendrick Lamar was the top winner on Monday at the BET Awards, an awards ceremony honoring Black actors, singers and sports stars. Host comedian Kevin Hart opened the ceremony by recognizing the BET Awards' 25th anniversary and all of the "history that has been made" on the stage. The ceremony traversed the evolution of Black music, starting with a performance by R&B artist Ashanti that featured a compilation of songs, including her 2002 song "Foolish." Additional performances included other 2000s songs "Ballin'" by Mustard, "1 Thing" by Amerie and "Like You" by Bow Wow. Hart led with jokes while also highlighting the BET Ultimate Icon Award winners of the night, including Kirk Franklin, Mariah Carey, Jamie Foxx and Snoop Dogg. "I gotta be honest, when I saw the in memoriam, I was like, 'Man, that could have been me'," he said. Another honor included the best female hip hop artist award for rising rapper Doechii. "Trump is using military forces to stop protest," Doechii said in her acceptance speech, addressing the anti-ICE protests in Los Angeles, where the National Guard and U.S. Marines are being deployed. "I want y'all to consider what kind of government it appears to be, when every time we exercise our democratic rights to protest, the military is deployed against us," she added.

Justin Bieber's former manager Scooter Braun thought about suicide amid public clash with Taylor Swift

Scooter Braun says he had thoughts of self-harm amid a time of uncertainty in his life and business. The 43-year-old entertainment executive, best known as the o ne-time manager of pop superstars such as Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, and Demi Lovato, chat about his darkest of days on the Diary of a CEO podcast. The New York-born music mogul - who made headlines after purchasing Taylor Swift 's earlier material amid controversial circumstances in 2019 - explained how he came to be suicidal despite experiencing success most could only dream of. Braun said that the reason why he entered a personal growth retreat in October of 2020 was because his marriage to wife Yael Cohen, 38, - who he shares kids Jagger, nine, Levi, seven, and Hart, five, with - 'was falling apart. ' Braun said that he felt inclined to self-harm - 'It went to a very dark place,' he admitted - after going down a rabbit hole of 'What if's' as he felt his life slipping away amid the nascent marital split. 'I had a suicidal thought for 20 minutes where I was like, " If my marriage is going to fall apart, I'm not gonna be with my kids all the time,' Braun said. 'I can't control this. I'm not gonna be this perfect image that I've presented to the world. Braun is best known as the one-time manager of pop superstars such as Justin Bieber. Pictured in LA in January of 2020, the year he entered a week-long residential and personal growth retreat called The Hoffman Process Braun added: 'And if I can't be this perfect image, I don't want to be here.' Braun said that the public generally had the misconception he was 'crushing it' in life amid his successful stewardship of the careers of Bieber and Grande. Braun said after the period of suicidal ideation had thankfully passed, he gained a sense of clarity, focus and direction. 'That's not me - I would never leave my kids,' Braun said of his earlier intrusive thoughts. 'I don't wanna leave anybody. Like, what was that?' Braun said that after speaking with a confidante, he was advised to go to a week-long residential and personal growth retreat called The Hoffman Process in an effort to better adapt to the changes coming with his divorce. 'They told me that they could get me in two weeks because there was a cancellation,' he said of facility officials. 'That was the release of Ariana Grande's Dangerous Woman album.' He said Grande had been fine with delaying her release of the record so he could focus on his health. Braun attended Hoffman more than four years ago amid challenges in his personal and professional life. Braun described how the life improvement retreat works: 'It is one week of no phone, no email and intense work on your early childhood to understand why you are the way you are and to give you tools to go out in the world and understand yourself.' Braun said that the intense incident caused him to look within himself and suss out what what truly important in his life as he moved forward. 'I've spent my whole life pursuing these things, doing this, choosing this, choosing that life and choosing the clients,' said Braun. 'I'm the top of my game yet I wanted to kill myself last night. Something has got to change. He continued: 'I chose to go to that place instead. The hard stuff actually came after I got out.' Braun said with the tools in place to maintain a sense of balance, he was able to endure stormy times without feeling too blue. 'I ended up going through a divorce,' Braun said. 'I ended up going through all this different stuff — but I never was depressed again.'
