Motorola is working on a blinged-up Razr

GSM Arena11-07-2025
If you like Motorola's Razr 60 but think it's not blinged-up enough, don't worry, the company is currently working on just the thing for you. Namely, a Razr 60 collaboration with Swarovski, and you probably already know what that means - it will be decked out in crystals.
A couple of images showing this upcoming device have been leaked today, and you can see them below. It's interesting to note that this is the 'vanilla' Razr 60 getting this treatment, and not the more expensive Razr 60 Ultra, but maybe that's coming too? Today's leak doesn't say.

The phone's specs are expected to be identical to any other Razr 60, but this one will shine and sparkle like no other in its ice blue colorway (fitting for an iced-out device, right?).
So, while the outside will be all bling, the phone should come with the same 6.9-inch 1080x2640 foldable LTPO AMOLED screen with 120 Hz refresh rate, 3.6-inch 1056x1066 cover display, MediaTek Dimensity 7400X SoC, 8/12GB of RAM, 256/512GB of storage, 50 MP main camera with OIS, 13 MP ultrawide, 32 MP selfie snapper, and 4,500 mAh battery with support for 30W wired and 15W wireless charging. Pixel 10 Pro Fold official render and promo ad leaks ahead of its launch

A new leak has just surfaced showing what appears to be an official render of Google's upcoming Pixel 10 Pro Fold in the rumored Moonstone color. These were followed up with an animated render showing the device unfolding and showcasing the hinge, plus a lifestyle image of the device being held and showing its back. The images were shared by reliable leakerEvan Blass on X, giving us an early look at the next-generation foldable in Google's Pixel lineup. While Google has yet to confirm anything, this leak could signal that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will join the main Pixel 10 series during the upcoming Made by Google event on August 20. If accurate, it would mark Google's latest attempt to compete in the foldable device race, following last year's Pixel 9 Pro Fold. — Evan Blass (@evleaks) August 7, 2025 Both the render and the animations show a design pretty much identical to the Pixel 9 Pro Fold , also known as the second-generation Pixel Fold. The outer screen appears to have the same aspect ratio that was a fan favorite, as it sat somewhere between the super thin "candy bar" outer display on older Samsung Galaxy foldables — even last year's Galaxy Z Fold 6, and the original Pixel Fold that adopted a notebook-like shape. Keep in mind that it's hard to confirm precise dimensions from these images alone, thus we can't really draw an accurate comparison between this and the currently very popular Galaxy Z Fold 7. Additionally, no official specs have been confirmed, but previous reports suggest the Pixel 10 Pro Fold could include the new Tensor G5 chip and up to 16GB of RAM. The software will likely be optimized with Android 16 and include plenty of Gemini AI goodies that could be a central part of the experience. Samsung, for its part, just released the Galaxy Z Fold 7 , which includes a slimmer profile, brighter display, a wider front screen, and even deeper integration with Galaxy AI. That sets a high bar for Google if it hopes to make serious headway in the premium foldable space. We will have to wait for official confirmation from Google later this month, but if this render proves legitimate, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold could be a tad more refined and competitive offering than its predecessor. It's encouraging to see Google continue to iterate on its foldable. However, expectations will be high, and unless the device addresses past pain points like weight, battery life, and large screen support on third party apps, it may still struggle to pull users away from Samsung's more mature foldables. Hopefully, that won't be the case.

Sales numbers show the Galaxy S25 series was 12.2% ahead of the S24 by the end of June

Sales of the Galaxy S25 series have been strong, getting ahead of the S24 series sales pace. The new Edge was off to a rough start, though. For a more detailed look at how the 2025 models performed compared to the 2024 models, Ice Universe has shared sales numbers for both, covering the period from launch to the end of June. In total, all four Galaxy S25 models have sold a total of 20.22 million units in that period, compared to 18.02 million for the S24 models in the same time frame last year. That is an increase of 12.2%. However, that includes 650,000 Galaxy S25 Edge units – note that this model only launched at the end of May, so this is really only a month of sales. For context, in the first two months of availability, the S25+ was at 1.67 million sales. Subtracting the Edge, the S25 series has total sales of 19.56 million or an 8.5% increase over the S24 trio. Let's have a look at how each model performed. The small Galaxy S25 shows the biggest individual growth – up 11.6% over its predecessor. Rumor has it that Samsung wants to replace it with a more capable S26 Pro next year, which might drive sales up even higher. The Samsung Galaxy S25+ posted a solid 7.5% increase over last year's model, but it's still the worst-selling Galaxy S model by a wide margin (it only sold two-thirds the numbers of the vanilla model). No wonder Samsung wants to drop the Plus for next year, especially as the S26 Edge is expected to improve on two fronts. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra remains the jewel in Samsung's crown with a solid 7.1% increase over the already high sales numbers. However, fortunes have shifted a bit – it can no longer be said that the S25 Ultra outsells the S25 and S25+ models combined. It's 9.64 million for the Ultra vs. 9.92 million for the other two. Samsung has a major shake-up planned for the 2026 Galaxy S lineup. How that affects sales remains to be seen. It will depend on the Galaxy S26 Pro pricing (it replaces the vanilla S, but will it cost the same or more?) and how the S25 Edge sales continue after the first month (over time more discounts and promos will kick in).
