‘Serious concerns' for Joshua Bishop, 23, missing for nearly three weeks
Police are continuing their search for a man who has been missing for nearly three weeks in Melbourne's north, as they determine whether his disappearance is suspicious. Sunbury man Joshua Bishop, 23, was last seen by his housemates in Lalor Crescent about 9.30pm on May 27. He was reported missing two days later on May 29 by his mother. Police said the man's disappearance was 'completely out of character', and family have serious concerns for his welfare. However, due to the unknown circumstances of his disappearance, police are yet to determine whether it is suspicious. Mr Bishop's phone and bank accounts have not been accessed since May 27. His phone last pinged at Broadmeadows Valley Park on Barry Rd. Police previously searched the area on June 4 but will return to the park on Monday for a renewed search. Mr Bishop has never been reported missing before and is not known to police. However, detectives will investigate whether he had any connections or was involved in criminal activity. He is described as being of average build with short blonde hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a black singlet and tracksuit pants.
