8.25 Ffos Las – Class 5 Handicap (1m; Sky Sports Racing)
BRETTON WOOD (NAP) might be no good – he has certainly looked limited so far – but he's interesting now he steps up in trip and makes his debut for Jack Channon.
His former trainer, Robert Cowell, is striking at around 10 per cent this term, whereas Channon is knocking in winners at around a 20 per cent clip – impressive stats.
Bretton Wood has been campaigned as a sprinter, but if it turns out that they have been running him over the wrong trip, he could be ahead of his modest handicap mark. And this flat track on quick ground won't make for a severe stamina test at the distance.
The selection is by Frankel, out of Group 1 winner Pretty Pollyanna, so he ought to be better than a lowly mark of 62.
8.45 Kempton – Class 4 handicap (2m; Racing TV)
ENVIRONMENT AMIGO should be better for his recent reappearance over 1m 4½f at Newcastle and will be suited by this step back up in distance.
James Fanshawe's runner won a couple of staying handicaps on the all-weather at Southwell last term and still looks to have improvement in him.

Arteta has been appointed global ambassador and direct of performance at Under Armour, with the Spaniard to work in the position alongside his role at the Gunners. The company said Arteta, 43, would provide guidance on product development, talent identification and leadership. He will also 'bring elite leadership, tactical insight and a relentless drive for performance to the brand's global vision', they said. England cricketer wanted to put OnlyFans logo on his bat
England fast bowler Tymal Mills has been prohibited from displaying a logo for his OnlyFans account on his bat during The Hundred cricket competition. Mills, who recently joined the platform, had sought approval from the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to feature the logo. The request was denied as organisers believe OnlyFans does not align with the family-friendly values promoted by The Hundred. It is understood that Mills, a player for Southern Brave understands the decision.
