POLICE have locked down a Scottish hotel amid a major ongoing emergency incident.
Cops have sealed off an area outside Galloway Community Hospital in Stranraer this morning.

Around half a dozen police vehicles were spotted a the car park outside the A&E department.
A blue forensic tent has also been erected inside the car park, which is also next to the Waverley Medical Centre.
The tent is surrounded by three large police vans, with another police car parked nearby.
Officers have cordoned off the area with blue tape, blocking access to the public.
Several officers have also been spotted on foot guarding the scene.
It is currently unclear what sparked the emergency response.
However, it appears that police have been at the hospital since early this morning.
Galloway Community Hospital is a small general hospital which provides care to locals in Stranraer and Wigtownshire.
It has an on-site A&E department as well as two maternity beds in the Clenoch birthing centre, where there are around 100 births per year.

They are encouraged to move the conversation over to a private messaging app before being asked to send money to secure merchandise or a meeting with Billy. Billy has insisted he would never engage directly with fans online and said his wife Pamela Stephenson, 75, is also being impersonated online as part of the scam. The Glasgow-born comic said his Facebook page is his only active social media account and warned that scammers can use AI to convince people they are in touch with him. In a statement issued on his official website, Billy said: "Dear friends, I have learned that, unfortunately, online scam artists are targeting my fans and supporters. "They are impersonating me, often reaching out to fans soliciting direct messaging. They create multiple deceptive social media and email accounts, and there could well be criminal intent. "For the protection of all my fans and supporters, please be aware of the following: I NEVER interact directly with fans or supporters, and would never suggest they direct message me, meet me, send me money or purchase goods directly. "I do not sell memberships, fan cards, meetings. I will never suggest meeting personally or ask for personal information. "If you are asked for any of the above, it is a scam. My likeness and the sound of my voice can be created by AI so beware. "My wife Pamela is also being impersonated, but please be aware that neither she nor any of my children have public social media accounts or pages. One of his fans online posted: "I've had no less than 12 scammers message me saying they're Billy Connolly. There's a special place in hell for scammers." Another follower said she had been contacted by someone pretending to be one of Billy's daughters after she posted a comment on a fan page. Earlier this year it was revealed a scammer had tricked a French woman into believing she was dating Brad Pitt, before persuading her to part with almost £700,000 using AI images and videos. Billy retired from stand-up after being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. He discovered he had the illness 13 years ago after a doctor spotted him walking strangely through the lobby of a hotel in Los Angeles. He moved to Florida from his previous home in New York after doctors advised him to live in a warmer climate.

The incident occurred in the Isle of Dogs on Wednesday night before he was detained by nearby members of the public. He was arrested by police on suspicion of common assault and he remains in custody. MailOnline reported that the man was a migrant staying in a Canary Wharf hotel. He reportedly entered the woman's house after being told to "go back to the hotel" where anti-migrant protestors were gathered. The 22-year-old woman whose flat he entered was arrested on Wednesday evening. Channay Augustus has since been charged with a number of offences including possession of an offensive weapon, affray, assault on an emergency worker, common assault and possession of cannabis. The affray and common assault charge relate to an incident at the Britannia Hotel in Marsh Wall which occurred on Wednesday evening. It concerned an alleged attack on a security guard at the hotel. She is due to appear in court later this morning. The Britannia Hotel has been the subject of recent protests after it was used for migrants arriving into Britain. It was closed to paying customers and converted into taxpayer-funded 'surge' accommodation for illegal arrivals in the UK. Earlier this week a coach load of asylum seekers were seen running into the four-star establishment under the cover of darkness. Earlier this month, the first arrivals saw about 40 male asylum seekers sent to the hotel by coach, with most dressed in grey tracksuits. The first arrivals were taken in at around 1.40am to be given rooms. They were helped by masked security guards working as private contractors for the Home Office. The use of the flash financial district hotel, one of around 210 hotels in use for asylum housing, was previously branded as farcical and an 'insult' to taxpayers. When open to the public, a standard room had cost as much as £425 a night – though it will cost the Home Office £81 a night. Amenities include a games room with a pool table and gym, though it is unclear if migrants will be allowed to use them. An indoor pool and sauna are thought to have been shut down. The Home Office previously said: 'We inherited a broken asylum system from the Tories with costs spiralling out of control. 'As part of the plan to restore order and close all asylum hotels by the end of the parliament, we are boosting border security, substantially increasing removals of those with no right to be here.
