Dipika Kakar Out Of ICU After Cancer Surgery, Shoaib Ibrahim Shares Health Update
Last Updated: Last month, Dipika Kakar revealed that she is battling stage 2 liver cancer. Television actor Shoaib Ibrahim has shared the latest health update of his actress wife, Dipika Kakar. The latter, who was recently diagnosed with stage 2 liver cancer, underwent a major surgery on June 3. On Friday, Shoaib took to his YouTube vlogs and revealed that Dipika is now out of the ICU. The actor shared that her condition is improving and that she is feeling better. 'Tomorrow is Eid Al Adha and today on such an auspicious day Dipika is out of the ICU. I am really grateful that she is out of the ICU and she is with us. She was in the ICU for three days and her condition kept improving after the surgery. Around evening, the doctors decided to shift her to the room. She will be here for a few days as the surgery was major, she was in the OT for 14 hours," he said. Shoaib further shared details of Dipika's 14-hour-long surgery and added, 'We all were tensed as doctors had mentioned it would be a long surgery. She was taken in at 8:30 am and she came out of the OT at 11:30 pm. I then met her when they shifted her to the ICU. At 6-7 pm, we all panicked as there was no update from the OT as we had never witnessed such a serious surgery. Thankfully, the doctor had assured me that if they don't come out for updates, then the surgery is going fine and she will be all well." Shoaib mentioned that during the surgery, doctors discovered that Dipika even had a stone in her gallbladder. 'The doctors even removed Dipika's gallbladder as they detected stone and they had to cut a small portion of the liver as the tumour was cancerous. The doctors mentioned that the liver is a self-restorative organ so it shall heal itself with time. So it is not something to be stressed about but we have to stay cautious and take good care," he shared. Last month, Dipika revealed that she is battling stage 2 liver cancer. The television star, known for her role in Sasural Simar Ka, shared the heartbreaking update through an emotional Instagram note. After suffering intense stomach pain, doctors discovered a tumour 'the size of a tennis ball" in her liver, which was later confirmed to be cancerous. Since then, Shoaib has been sharing her health updates on social media. A few days ago, the actor had also shared an emotional video on their YouTube channel, calling it 'the toughest phase" of their lives while remaining hopeful about her recovery. 'Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, the scan report came out clear. The virus or its cells have not spread anywhere else in the body. Whatever is there is confined to the tumour, and once the tumour is surgically removed, Inshallah, things will get better," he said. First Published:

RBI Tries to Help the Economy Grow
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) just made a big decision. It cut interest rates again — this time by 0.5% (or 50 basis points). That's good news for people who have to pay EMIs (monthly loan payments), because their payments could now become cheaper. So why did RBI do this? The goal is to help India's economy grow faster. In the last few months, the economy grew by 7.4%, which sounds great. But most of that growth came from the government spending money on building things like roads and bridges. Factories and companies making goods (that's called manufacturing) didn't grow much. And that's a problem because strong factory growth means more jobs and more money in people's pockets. For India to grow well this year, people need to spend more — especially on things like cars and homes. These industries give jobs to millions of people. To help with that, RBI has already made loans cheaper three times this year. Now it's hoping that cheaper loans will make more people buy homes and cars, which will boost the economy. Prices of things (inflation) have finally stopped rising so fast, so the RBI felt safe enough to cut rates. But some experts think people aren't buying more because they simply don't earn enough. After Covid, many carmakers and builders started making only expensive models. Small, cheaper cars and homes became rare. So middle-class families couldn't afford them. Now, with cheaper loans, the RBI hopes more middle-income families can buy these things again. If that happens, businesses will also invest more in new projects — and that will help the economy grow. But if it doesn't, the government may need to focus on helping people earn more money. RBI has said it won't cut rates again soon. So now, everyone's waiting to see: Will this plan work?
