Kamala Harris' campaign savagely slammed by Bernie Sanders in CNN interview
During an interview with CNN, Sanders was asked about comments he made about Harris' run for presidency.
Sanders had previously said during his 'Fighting Oligarchy' tour that a reason Harris lost in the most recent election was because of 'billionaires'.
'One of the reasons, in my view, that Kamala Harris lost this election is she had too many billionaires telling her not to speak up for the working-class of this country,' Sanders said.
When pressed by CNN's State of the Union host Dana Bash, Sanders doubled down in response.
'I like her, she's a friend of mine, but her core consultants … were heavily influenced by very wealthy people," Sanders said.
'How do you run for president and not develop a strong agenda which speaks to the economic crises facing working families?'

Scott Jennings cooks ‘lying' leftist on CNN for claiming Trump has not ended seven conflicts
CNN commentator Scott Jennings has blasted Tara Setmayer following her comments that US President Donald Trump has not settled seven conflicts. The clash between the two happened during a roundtable discussion about Trump's upcoming meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The two men are scheduled to meet in Alaska on Friday, August 15, to discuss an end to the war between Russia and Ukraine. Jennings spoke about Trump's upcoming meeting and that he was willing to give the president "some latitude" in his high-stakes talks with Putin. Jennings' comments, however, seemingly triggered Setmayer and led her to claim that Trump "hasn't solved seven conflicts".
