Inter Milan striker Sebastiano Esposito says his brother Francesco Pio is a 'beast' but says there is 'no competition' between them.

Sebastiano spent last season on loan at Empoli. Meanwhile, Francesco Pio was at Spezia last campaign.
However, the two loan deals end. Therefore, the pair of brothers are now at Inter playing together for the senior team for the first time ever.
This is just for the Club World Cup. There is a sense that neither of the two brothers will be wearing the Inter shirt come the start of next season.
Nevertheless, both Sebastiano and Francesco Pio will have their role to play for Inter over the next few weeks.

'I already played with [his other brother] Salvatore for six months at SPAL,' he noted. 'And so doing the same now with Pio is great.'
Meanwhile, Sebastiano said that his younger brother 'has grown a lot.'
'He's become a beast on a physical level,' said the 22-year-old striker.
'We're in the dressing room together. We always talk, and starting with the next match he should be available because he's recovered from his injury.'
Then, Sebastiano joked that 'let's hope he can do the opposite of what I did against Monterrey – score a goal!'
And as far as the relationship between the brothers, Sebastiano insisted that 'there's no competition between us.'

Trent Alexander-Arnold reacts to ‘incredible' Real Madrid debut: ‘What every player dreams of'

Trent Alexander-Arnold has hailed his Real Madrid debut as something 'almost every player dreams of' despite a frustrating first outing against Al-Hilal. Following his arrival from Liverpool at the beginning of June, Alexander-Arnold's bow in Real colours lasted 65 minutes as he struggled up against the challenge of live wire Salem Al-Dawsari. Advertisement Despite his side missing out on victory in their Club World Cup opener, Alexander-Arnold nevertheless reflected positively on his first appearance. "After playing a game, it is hard to concentrate that much to speak Spanish,' he told Channel 5. "An amazing day to make my debut for Real Madrid. Almost what every player dreams of. "Some disappointment to not have won the game. The mentality you need to have as a Real Madrid player is to expect to win every game you're playing, but a lot of positives, especially in the second half. 'I felt the support from the moment I signed for the club. The fanbase that is truly global all over the world. You feel it every single day. A huge thank you for that. We dominated the stands today, which was incredible.' Federico Valverde blew the chance to snatch a winner in 90th minute, fluffling a late penalty to ensure a statement result for the Saudi club. "It is important to show the intent that I want to embrace the culture and adapt as best as possible." Watch every Fifa Club World Cup game free on DAZN. Sign up here now.

Federico Chiesa breaks silence on future after frustrating first season at Liverpool

Liverpool forward Federico Chiesa admits a return to Italy is 'something to think about' this summer after becoming all but an afterthought during his first season at Anfield. The 27-year-old endured a frustrating maiden campaign in the Premier League, in which he featured just six times with only one start under his belt since arriving late from Juventus in August for £10m. It was a fee that looked a bargain at the time, with Liverpool securing the services of a player that only three years earlier had a nine-figure price tag on his head, having set the footballing world alight as part of Italy's Euros triumph in 2021. He nevertheless ended the season as a Premier League champion and is currently targeting a return to pre-season training on July 8. But asked about a return to his homeland, the Italy international told La Gazzetta dello Sport: 'That's something to think about during the summer. 'My family, my agent and I have a great relationship with Liverpool, and the goal is to be ready for the pre-season. We'll find the best solution for everyone. I had to start from scratch at Liverpool and that held me back. 'I hope (next season) it's my season. My dream is to participate in the World Cup.' Chiesa made 14 appearances across all competitions, although was limited to just 466 minutes after being blighted by early-season fitness problems. He scored two goals and notched two assists, bagging a stoppage-time consolation in the Carabao Cup final defeat to Newcastle back in March.

Liverpool agree deal for Milos Kerkez ahead of Florian Wirtz announcement

Liverpool have agreed a deal worth around £40m to sign Hungarian left-back Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth, reports the BBC. The 21-year-old will sign a five-year deal at Anfield, and joins after two seasons with the Cherries. Advertisement Bournemouth have signed French left-back Adrien Truffert from Rennes as a replacement for Kerkez, with the 23-year-old joining on a five-year contract in a deal worth around £14m. Kerkez will be the latest part of a summer rebuild at Liverpool, with Trent Alexander-Arnold having departed for Real Madrid and Jeremie Frimpong arriving as his replacement in a deal worth £29.5m. The Reds are reportedly close to completing a £116m deal for German midfielder Florian Wirtz too, with the 22-year-old currently undergoing his medical this week. And Arne Slot's side continue to be linked with various top players, including Newcastle striker Alexander Isak, Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi and Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike. Milos Kerkez impressed for Bournemouth last season (Adam Davy/PA Wire) Kerkez, who made no secret of his desire to join the Reds, joins after two successful seasons with the Cherries, who he joined from Dutch side AZ Alkmaar in 2023. Current Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes was involved in the original deal to take him to the Vitality. Advertisement The Hungarian registered two goals and six assists for Andoni Iraola's side last season as they finished ninth with a record 56 points, and is seen as the ideal full-back to fit Liverpool's style of play. He joins compatriot Dominik Szoboszlai at the club, though his arrival has thrown doubt on the future of Liverpool stalwart Andy Robertson, with the 31-year-old expected to be replaced in the starting eleven by Kerkez. Reports suggest Robertson could leave this summer, with Atletico Madrid said to be interested in a deal worth around £8.5m, while Kostas Tsimikas, Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz could also leave Anfield this summer as Arne Slot looks to build a squad capable of retaining the Premier League title.
