DUBAI, United Arab Emirates: Dulsco Group, a regional leader in people, environmental, talent, and energy recruitment solutions, has announced the appointment of Paul Marson as Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In his new role, Paul will lead the group's financial strategy, driving governance excellence, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth across its portfolio of businesses.
A seasoned finance executive, Paul brings more than 20 years of international experience across diverse sectors. His previous leadership roles span major organisations including Emirates Group, Majid Al Futtaim, Saudi Entertainment Ventures and GSK. Over the course of his career, he has successfully managed complex financial operations and led major mergers and acquisitions, from target identification and due diligence to integration and post-investment evaluation.
Paul is a certified member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and currently serves as a Non-Executive Director at Jumeirah English Speaking School, one of Dubai's leading not-for-profit educational institutions.

In accordance with its mandate to monitor the impact, quality and effectiveness of programmes, as well as to ensure compliance with governance and transparency standards, the Office of the Auditor General of the ECOWAS Commission conducted an audit mission at the ECOWAS Gender Development (EgDC). This mission, which took place from the 4th to 15th of August 2025 in Dakar, Republic of Senegal, focused on the management of EGDC operations, particularly in the areas of procurement, human resources, travel, missions and advances. The objective was to analyse the operational procedures in place and to gather the EGDC's expectations and needs in terms of good management. At the opening meeting on 4th of August, the auditors presented the context, objectives and methodology of the audit. The Director of the ECDC and the Director of Administration and Finance of the GIABA/EGDC Pooling highlighted the importance of the exercise, emphasising the progress made by the Centre in the areas examined. The closing meeting, held on the 18th August 2025, provided an opportunity to share the preliminary conclusions. The Auditor General praised the EGDC's open cooperation and encouraged it to continue its efforts to improve its operating framework. This work was carried out in a hybrid mode (face-to-face and videoconferencing via Zoom and Teams), with the active participation of staff from the EGDC, GIABA and the Auditor General's Office. Specialist fire and life safety consultancy, Tenable Fire Engineering Consultancy (FEC), has appointed Sam Alcock as chief executive officer. In his new role, Alcock will lead the consultancy's strategic expansion, with a strong focus on scaling operations in existing markets and developing new regional and international opportunities. Alcock joined the consultancy in 2011 as a fire consultant and was appointed Dubai director in 2016. He has been instrumental in positioning Tenable FEC as a trusted fire engineering partner across the GCC and internationally, expanding the consultancy's footprint in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Africa and India while maintaining strong profitability and client relationships. In 2024, Alcock helped the company achieve a 25 per cent increase in revenue and led a company-wide restructuring to strengthen long-term agility in 2025. With Tenable FEC now Salamah-approved in Saudi Arabia and the local office fully operational, the consultancy is targeting 30 per cent growth in 2025, driven by large-scale infrastructure and masterplanning projects.
