Trinity Rodman has been among those supporting Ben Shelton at Wimbledon this month. She's been spotted in the crowd at the annual tournament in the UK lately as the tennis player competes in this year's championship.
Ben, 22, competed against Lorenzo Sonego in a match that was held earlier today in London. Trinity, 23, who has been romantically linked to Ben since earlier this year, was in the audience for his victory in the game, which has secured him a place in the quarter finals of the competition.
Trinity is no stranger to a sporting contest though as she's a footballer. Described as a "rising superstar" in soccer, she's been a forward for Washington Spirit, which is part of National Women's Soccer League (NWSL), since 2021.

Two years ago, she's said to have become the youngest player in NWSL history to record 10 assists and 10 goals in a regular season career. More recently, last year, she was named her team's all-time regular season assists leader.
Trinity also plays for the US Women's National Soccer Team. Through that team, which is joined in 2022, she's an Olympic gold medalist following their stint in Paris last year. Trinity scored three goals for the team at the event.
Her career, which has included collaborations with brands like Adidas, has involved appearances on TV too. She was among the players followed through last year's NWSL playoffs for docuseries For the Win: NWSL, which launched on Prime Video earlier this year.

Trinity isn't the only member of her family to have a career in sports. She's the youngest child of retired basketball player Dennis Rodman, 64, and his ex-wife Michelle Moyer, who divorced when she was a child. Her older brother Dennis 'DJ' Rodman, 24, has followed in their father's footsteps with a career in basketball.
Speaking on the Call Her Daddy podcast, in an episode released in March, Trinity revealed that she has often been estranged from her father over the year. She said that she has "made it clear that he's not present" and it "frustrates" her being asked about him in interviews.

She said on the podcast that she would go years without seeing him at times in her life and months without talking. She claimed that he "partied all the time" when she was growing up and has remained estranged in recent years. Trinity said at one point: "He's not a dad. Maybe by blood, but nothing else."
As reported by the Mirror US at the time, Dennis issued a public apology in a now-deleted post. He wrote: "Sorry I wasn't the Dad you wanted me to be but either way I still tried and I still Try and Never will Stop.
"I will keep Trying even when you're being told as an adult not to respond to my phone calls. I will try even when it's difficult and if it takes a long time. I'm always here And tell you all the time rather it's your voice or voicemail how proud I am."

Dennis reportedly continued: "I always had one wish and it was I wish my kids would call me and come see me. Hopefully one day I can get that. I'm here and I'm still trying pick up the phone you have my number, You see me calling, I'm still here Dennis RODMAN- Dad."
The outlet reported that Trinity responded to the post at the time. She's said to have replied "a joke," adding: "The response alone. Wiping my hands with it I'm done. Thank you."

Belinda Bencic knocks out Mirra Andreeva to reach maiden Wimbledon semi-final

Andreeva, 18, was bidding to become the youngest semi-finalist at the All England Club since Maria Sharapova won the title 21 years ago but Bencic edged a cat-and-mouse battle 7-6 (3) 7-6 (2). It has been a remarkable comeback for the Swiss following the birth of daughter Bella in April last year, and she will now face Iga Swiatek in just the second grand slam semi-final of her career. You better believe it, Belinda. You're a #Wimbledon semi-finalist 👏 — Wimbledon (@Wimbledon) July 9, 2025 Bencic, the first Swiss woman to make it this far since Martina Hingis in 1998, beamed after putting away the final volley, saying: 'It's crazy, it's unbelievable, it's a dream come true. I tried not to think about it at the match point. I'm speechless. So happy. 'I'm very proud. I didn't say that to myself much in my career but after having Bella I really say that to myself every day. We are just enjoying life on tour. It's been beautiful to create these memories together.' Her first slam semi-final came six years ago at the US Open, which had been by a distance her best major tournament, although Bencic achieved the high point of her career in 2021 by winning Olympic singles gold. A post shared by Belinda Bencic (@belindabencic) The pair had a royal audience, with the Queen sat in the Royal Box, and this was an absorbing contest from the start, with very little to choose between the two. Bencic and Andreeva are two of the best tacticians in the women's game, and they probed each other looking for an advantage, with neither giving up anything until the first-set tie-break, when the Swiss was the steadier. Bencic looked poised to clinch victory when she secured the first break of serve in the contest in the ninth game of the second set to leave herself serving for the match. Andreeva looked to coach Conchita Martinez, back in her familiar role a day after her young charge had played cheerleader during an invitation doubles match, and with her back against the wall she managed to hit straight back. Bencic was struggling with a painful toenail but, having sent the trainer away at 5-4, she battled her way into a tie-break and again showed her experience to move into the last four.

Lord Sebastian Coe named chair-designate for Old Trafford Regeneration project

Lord Coe, who chaired London's 2012 Olympic and Paralympic bid, has been appointed as chair-designate of the Mayoral Development Corporation (MDC) for the Old Trafford Regeneration project. The former IOC president previously chaired a task force set up by United owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe to look at stadium options for United amid a wider regeneration of the surrounding area. Manchester United welcomes Greater Manchester's 10-year plan ⤵️ — Manchester United (@ManUtd) July 9, 2025 He will now play a key part in the development of the 100,000-seater stadium, which Ratcliffe wants to be the 'Wembley of the north'. Coe's appointment was announced at an event in Manchester city centre on Wednesday. He said in a statement which appeared on Manchester United's website: 'Throughout my career, I've seen the difference that sports-led regeneration can make in fostering strong communities and acting as a catalyst for economic growth. 'That was certainly true of the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics – and now, I believe, Greater Manchester's moment has come. 'Working with Trafford Council and the Mayor, there's huge potential to bring new homes and jobs to the area around the Manchester United stadium. And looking ahead, I see a chance to bring the FIFA Women's World Cup to a new Old Trafford Stadium in 2035. The home nations are the sole bidder, which presents a rare opportunity to bid to host the global football family. 'But this is about so much more than just a stadium. It's about listening to and working with residents to create a vibrant, inclusive district, with high quality housing, green spaces, world class leisure and education facilities, and improved transport links. 'Twenty years on from securing the Olympic and Paralympic Games for this country, I'm ready to help deliver a vision of equal scale and ambition. I can't wait to get started.' United revealed a potential design for their new home and chief executive Omar Berrada says this is a big step forward. 'This is an exciting decade for the region, and we warmly welcome the inclusion of the Old Trafford Regeneration project at the heart of the Greater Manchester Strategy. 'We are also delighted by the appointment of Lord Coe as chair-designate of the Mayoral Development Corporation; the continuity it brings for the wider project will be a huge positive. 'In addition, Lord Coe's proven leadership and track record in delivering transformational projects will be invaluable as we work together to turn our collective vision into reality. 'In March, we announced our ambition for a new stadium and since then we have been progressing those plans. 'Today's announcement is a significant step forward in our shared vision for the revival of this area of the city that requires investment to thrive again.'

Wimbledon semi-finalist Belinda Bencic being powered by baby daughter Bella

Eighteen-year-old Andreeva was bidding to become the youngest semi-finalist at the All England Club since Maria Sharapova won the title 21 years ago but Bencic edged a cat-and-mouse battle 7-6 (3) 7-6 (2). It has been a remarkable comeback for the Swiss following the birth of Bella in April last year, and she will now face Iga Swiatek on Thursday in just the second grand slam semi-final of her career. 'I'm very proud,' said Bencic. 'I didn't say that to myself much in my career but after having Bella I really say that to myself every day. We are just enjoying life on tour. It's been beautiful to create these memories together.' Fitness trainer husband Martin Hromkovic and Bella accompany Bencic on tour, but balancing tennis and family life has not proved too difficult so far. 'I feel like I'm still focused,' said the 28-year-old. 'It's just different. I think it's just really natural at this point. It's not something that takes away my focus. 'Sometimes I think it's even better when I'm not too focused. I don't feel so nervous before the match, and I'm just doing what I have to do.' Her first slam semi-final came six years ago at the US Open, which had been by a distance her best major tournament, although Bencic achieved the high point of her career in 2021 by winning Olympic singles gold. She returned from her maternity break at the end of October by playing lower-tier events and it was a strategy that worked, with Bencic finding her feet immediately back on the WTA Tour this year. The pair had a royal audience, with the Queen sat in the Royal Box, and this was an absorbing contest from the start, with very little to choose between the two. The only breaks of serve came late in the second set, with Bencic giving herself the chance to serve out the win at 5-4 only for Andreeva to hit straight back, but the Swiss showed her experience in both tie-breaks. Andreeva was left to reflect on another near miss having also lost at the same stage of the French Open, but the teenager knows time is very much on her side. 'I just felt like she was playing good today,' said the Russian. 'At some point I also felt like I could have played better, maybe a little bit more focused, maybe a little bit less mistakes, more aggressive. 'Today is a hard day, but I can take a lot of positives from these two weeks for sure. We're going to move on and improve.' Andreeva has endeared herself to the Wimbledon crowd with her tennis and bubbly personality, while on Tuesday she could be found at Court 16 cheering on her coach Conchita Martinez in an invitational match complete with home-made sign. As promised after her Quarter Final win, Mira Andreeva was there to support her coach, Conchita Martinez, in her Invitational Doubles match 🥰 She even made a sign for support 🥹🤣 — TNT Sports (@tntsports) July 8, 2025 'I don't know how many kilos of strawberries I've eaten already,' she said of her fondness for Wimbledon. 'I will remember a lot from this tournament, especially also making a poster supporting Conchita. Also, I will remember these tie-breaks. 'I guess maybe the first thing that I'm going to practise is I'm going to play a thousand tie-breaks. Unless I win one, I'm not going to be happy.'
