Man dies after two-car crash in village
A man has died after two cars collided on a country road in East Yorkshire.
Humberside Police said the black Ford Focus and black MG3 were involved in the crash on Beverley Road near Whitedale on Thursday 29 May.
The driver of the Focus, aged 76, died in hospital from his injuries on Friday 6 June.
The collision happened between New Ellerby and Great Hatfield at around 19:00 BST. Officers are trying to establish the circumstances and have appealed for witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage to contact them.

A man in his 60s has died unexpectedly in Orpington. Emergency services were called to Knoll Rise in Orpington. A man in his 60s was found unconscious, he was later pronounced dead at the scene. Discarded cigarette butts spark litter warning
People living in Alderney have been warned not to drop cigarette butts on roads or footpaths. The States of Alderney said more litter was being found around Olivier Street and the "top of town" area. It is against the law to drop litter in public places and anyone caught doing it could be fined, the States said. Motorcyclist fighting for life after M6 crash
A motorcyclist is in a serious condition in hospital following a crash on the M6. The rider, a man in his 20s, was airlifted to hospital after his Yamaha YZF-R3 collided with a crash barrier near Leyland in Lancashire on Saturday night. "He remains in hospital at this time in a serious but stable condition. There are not believed to be any other vehicles involved," said the force in a statement.
