Giorgio Armani opens new boutique in Capri
The Armani Group has opened a new Giorgio Armani boutique in Capri, marking its return to the designer's beloved island and international tourist destination.
Located at 63 Via Camerelle, a famed promenade, the boutique is set at the foot of the historic Villa Pompeiana, a landmark dating back to 1879.
Spanning a single floor and divided into three rooms, the boutique is designed to evoke the atmosphere of seaside destinations. Vaulted ceilings and walls covered in wallpaper embellished with the iconic palm motif in shades of blue and gold characterize the space, while the sand coloured oak flooring and rope details in the furnishings serve as distinctive signatures of the Giorgio Armani Mare resort boutiques and pop-ups.
Completing the space are platinum-hued metal tables and fabric-covered seating in the Armani/Casa palm pattern, paired with lamps and woven baskets.
The store houses the men's and women's collections of clothing, accessories, eyewear, fine jewellery, and Giorgio Armani 11 watches, showcased in light oak display units.
Last Summer, the brand hosted a Giorgio Armani Mare tour with stops in Trani, Italy, Porto Cervo, Sardinia, and Forte Dei Marmi, Tuscany, among other destinations.
