A nine-year-old girl and her father have been killed in a house fire in West Yorkshire.
An 11-year-old girl is in critical condition after police were called to reports of a fire at a property in Heckmondwike on Sunday morning.
The girls were both taken to hospital for treatment. Despite medical attention, the man died at the scene.
The nine-year-old girl died in hospital later on Sunday.
Detective Inspector Paul Greatorex said: 'We are continuing to work with colleagues at the fire service to investigate this dreadfully sad incident which has resulted in a father and daughter losing their lives.
'Extensive enquiries have been ongoing since yesterday and we have been working to locate and support relatives of the victims both here and outside of the UK at what is clearly an awful time for the family.
'While our enquiries remain ongoing we do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances regarding the cause of the fire and will be preparing a file for the coroner in due course.
'Our support for the family involved clearly also still continues.'

Investigation after man stabbed in Nottingham city centre
A police investigation is under way after a man was stabbed in Nottingham city centre.A man in his 30s was attacked in Market Street at about 11:50 BST and was taken to hospital with injuries that were "not thought to be life-altering or life-threatening", according to Nottinghamshire put a cordon in place at about 12:00 and the road was closed, causing disruption to tram and bus Insp Neil Humphris said: "This was an appalling act of violence carried out in full view of members of the public." Watch: Man chased across Heathrow airport tarmac
A man has been filmed being chased across the tarmac at Heathrow airport. In footage posted online, the man was seen running away from other figures in an incident that lasted several minutes before finally being apprehended. The video, captured by a plane spotter, was posted on social media. The man appeared to be running from at least four other men, but eventually stopped when a van carrying workers in fluorescent tops arrived. It is understood the individual was arrested because shortly after being stopped, a police van was on the scene. A Heathrow spokesman said: 'Working with partners, we have quickly resolved an incident at the airport involving an individual who accessed the airfield taxiway. The individual has been removed from the airport. 'The airport continues to operate as normal, and passengers are travelling as planned.'
