BMW Group India has announced the launch of the BMW monsoon service campaign across its dealer network from 15 June - 30 November 2025. This exclusive initiative will be held across all BMW authorised workshops in India and will ensure complete car readiness for the monsoon season.

The brand said that the Monsoon Service campaign is conceptualized to offer customers comprehensive information and tips on effective vehicle management, on-time maintenance, and overall understanding of BMW and Mini vehicles. The program provides customers with a complimentary vehicle check and gets condition-based service performed on their cars, ensuring that their vehicles are in top condition. The service is conducted by certified BMW and Mini technical experts. Customers can book prior appointments for car servicing at the workshop. Customers will also be able to check and update their details to receive special promotions and offers from their dealer.
BMW also announced the complimentary services that will be carried out under the BMW monsoon campaign, it includes- windscreen wiper checkup, washer system (Front and Rear windscreen and washer fluid level), rain light sensor (Auto wiper and auto headlight operation check), electrical (alignment of headlights/fog lights), horn function test and more.

The COPILOT function works by combining natural language prompts with cell references, such as =COPILOT("Summarize this feedback", A2:A20). Users can integrate it with existing Excel functions like IF, SWITCH, and LAMBDA, making data analysis more accessible to non-technical users. Key applications include classifying customer feedback, generating product descriptions, creating summaries of large datasets, and brainstorming marketing ideas. The AI can produce multi-row, multi-column tables that integrate directly into spreadsheets. Microsoft emphasizes that data processed through the COPILOT function remains confidential and won't be used to train AI models. The feature is powered by OpenAI's GPT-4.1-mini model and represents an evolution of Microsoft's earlier experimental function from 2023. Current limitations include a 100-call-per-10-minutes usage cap, inability to access live web data or internal business documents, and restrictions against using it for high-stakes scenarios with legal or regulatory implications. Microsoft warns the function can produce incorrect responses and shouldn't be used for numerical calculations. The company plans to expand functionality over time, including potential web access capabilities and increased usage limits. Excel for the web will receive the feature through Microsoft's Frontier program.

BMW India has rolled out special '50 Jahre' Editions of its 3 Series to mark 50 years of the model in global markets. The commemorative versions are based on the BMW 330Li M Sport and BMW M340i, with only 50 units of each to be offered in the country. Both are locally assembled at the BMW Group Plant in Chennai and will be retailed exclusively through the brand's official website. The 330Li M Sport '50 Jahre' Edition is priced at ₹ 64 lakh, while the M340i '50 Jahre' Edition carries a tag of ₹ 76.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The 3 Series, first introduced in 1975 as a successor to the BMW 02 Series, has evolved through seven generations. Over the years, it has been offered in multiple body styles including four-door saloons, convertibles, coupés and hatchbacks. The nameplate also spawned the M3, which began life as a homologation special on the second-generation E30 platform. For the Indian market, the 330Li M Sport '50 Jahre' Edition receives exterior enhancements such as the M High-Gloss Shadowline package, gloss black details on the grille, diffuser and exhaust tips, along with a laser-engraved '1/50' badge on the B-pillar. Paint choices include Mineral White, Skyscraper Grey and M Carbon Black. Inside, the car features carbon fibre trim, Vernasca Cognac leather upholstery, a head-up display with augmented reality navigation, and a curved digital display. Power comes from a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol unit producing 258 bhp and 400 Nm, enabling 0-100 km/h in 6.2 seconds. The M340i '50 Jahre' Edition, meanwhile, is fitted with 19-inch Jet Black alloy wheels, red M Sport brake callipers, high-gloss black badging and '50 Jahre' emblems front and rear. The B-pillar carries an engraved '1/50' insignia, while colour options include Dravit Grey, Black Sapphire, Fire Red Metallic and Arctic Race Blue. The cabin is finished in Vernasca leather with M highlights and carbon fibre trim, alongside the brand's Operating System 8.5. Buyers will also receive a 1:18 scale model of the BMW 3.0 CSL and an M Performance key fob as part of the package. The performance variant continues with the 3.0-litre straight-six turbo petrol engine, producing 374 hp and 500 Nm, paired to BMW's xDrive all-wheel-drive system. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds, retaining its position as the quickest BMW built in India.
