Taylor Swift's dominance on the charts — both in the U.S. and across the pond — feels practically routine at this point. This week in the United Kingdom, the singer-songwriter continues to demonstrate her incredible staying power as several of her albums return to various rankings and, in some cases, even rise. This time around, one of her re-recordings hits a special milestone no other title in her discography has achieved on a specific tally.
When Swift first announced she would re-record and re-release her earliest albums years ago, she chose to start with Fearless, the project that launched her into the mainstream and won the star her first Grammy for Album of the Year. Originally released in 2008, the collection is now considered one of the most successful country-pop crossovers of all time, and it marked a major turning point in her career.
More than a decade later, Fearless (Taylor's Version) arrived to massive success. By then, Swift had transformed into a global icon who'd conquered pop, indie, and alternative sounds, so it wasn't surprising that her return to country found an enthusiastic audience. This week, that project rises again on the Official Country Artists Albums chart, moving from No. 7 to No. 6.
That slight improvement in position is a special movement for the re-recorded Fearless (Taylor's Version). The title has now spent 208 weeks on the Official Country Artists Albums chart — exactly four full years. Over that lengthy span, the set has rarely faltered. In fact, it's only fallen out of the top 10 once during its entire run.
Fearless (Taylor's Version) is now the first of Swift's releases to spend four years on the Official Country Artists Albums chart. It's a milestone she had never reached before with any other title, original or re-recorded. The new version of Fearless surpassed the original months ago, as that initial offering has thus far managed 185 total appearances on the list.
Her debut effort, Taylor Swift, is currently up to 163 turns on the same tally. While that record hasn't been re-released yet, Swift has promised fans that it will eventually be reimagined and shared under her updated vision.
Beyond its impressive longevity, Fearless (Taylor's Version) has also dominated the Official Country Artists Albums chart like few other titles have in the tally's history. When it arrived in April 2021, it debuted at No. 1, and that turned out to be only the beginning. Since then, the full-length has earned 53 stays in the top spot, meaning it has ruled for more than a cumulative year out of the four it has spent on the roster.

Travis Kelce Sends Strong Message After Taylor Swift's Personal Decision

Travis Kelce Sends Strong Message After Taylor Swift's Personal Decision originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Taylor Swift is arguably one of the biggest and most prominent pop stars in the world today, and therefore, it is no doubt that her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce draws tons of attention. Advertisement A common sight on television during Chiefs games is Swift watching from a luxury box. It is something that annoys some fans, but it has also brought lots of publicity, not to mention viewership, for the NFL. On Friday, it was announced that Swift made a huge career move when she made it known that she now owns the rights to her first six albums. This should open up plenty of business opportunities for her, including the ability to receive royalties from her songs. Kelce congratulated Swift on gaining the rights to all the songs on those albums, including "I Knew You Were Trouble," a song from the album "Red" in 2012. NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal tried to sing along with the lyrics during an appearance on the "New Heights" podcast with Kelce and his brother Jason. 'Shout out to Tay-Tay, just got that song back, too. Just bought all her music back, so it's finally hers too. I appreciate that," Travis Kelce said. Until recently, the rights to those six albums were held by Shamrock Capital, which had purchased them from Ithaca Holdings. Scooter Braun's Ithaca Holdings previously bought Big Machine Label Group, which had owned the rights to the master recordings of those six albums. Advertisement According to Billboard, Swift reportedly paid around $360 million for the rights to those recordings. Pop icon Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce at Arrowhead J. New Video of Taylor Swift Singing Turns Heads on Friday

New Video of Taylor Swift Singing Turns Heads on Friday originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, have kept a low profile over the past several months. Fans assumed Swift was taking a much-deserved break after performing 149 "Eras Tour" shows across the world. Ever since Super Bowl LIX, Kelce and 14-time Grammy have only been spotted in public a handful of times. While Kelce prepares for this 13th season in the NFL, however, Swift revealed that she was quietly working on getting back ownership of her master recordings from music released between 2006 to 2017. Swift broke five months of social media silence to announce on May 30: "I've been bursting into tears of joy at random intervals ever since I found out that this is really happening. I really get to say these words: All of the music I've ever made... now belongs... to me." "And all my music videos. All the concert films. The album art and photography. The unreleased songs. The memories. The magic. The madness. Every single era. My entire life's work," Swift noted. Billboard reported she bought back ownership of her first six albums from Shamrock Capital, the firm that purchased them from Scooter Braun's Ithaca Holdings in late 2020, for approximately $360 million. Helping celebrate Swift's exciting news on Friday, Jack Antonoff, the singer's longtime friend and music producer, who co-wrote numerous songs featured on "Reputation." With the 2017 album back under Swift's ownership, Antonoff posted a video of Swift (and her cat, Meredith) singing along to "Getaway" on X. He captioned the post, "rep forever guilt free listening!" Because Swift never finished recording "Reputation: Taylor's Version," numerous fans felt guilty listening to the original album. One fan commented, "NEW TAYLOR FOOTAGE, JACK WE LOVE YOU." One Swifite wrote, "THIS MAKES ME SO HAPPY 🥹." Another fan posted, "the concept of meredith witnessing swiftie independence day." One X user wrote, "AWWW SHES SO HAPPY." Following Friday's announcement, "Reputation" immediately shot to No. 1 the iTunes music story was originally reported by Athlon Sports on May 31, 2025, where it first appeared.

Fans Emotional Over Taylor Swift's Personal Message on Monday

Fans Emotional Over Taylor Swift's Personal Message on Monday originally appeared on Athlon Sports. After spending several months of keeping a low profile with her boyfriend, Kansas Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift broke her social media silence to announce she finally reclaimed her entire music catalog. Swift wrote after buying the master recordings from albums she released between 2006 and 2017, "I've been bursting into tears of joy at random intervals ever since I found out that this is really happening. I really get to say these words: All of the music I've ever made... now belongs... to me. "All I've ever wanted was the opportunity to work hard enough to be able to one day purchase my music outright with no strings attached, no partnership, with full autonomy. "I will be forever grateful to everyone at Shamrock Capital for being the first people to ever offer this to me." Fans of Swifties were beyond thrilled for the 14-time Grammy winner. After years of feeling guilty for listening to her 2006 self-titled debut and 2017's "Reputation," the two albums Swift never re-recorded under the "Taylor's Version" tag, they blew up on all streaming outlets. "Reputation" immediately soared to No. 1 on iTunes. The album earned its biggest streaming day on Spotify since its release 8 years ago with 9.9 million streams in one day. Fans received a special personal message from the "Gorgeous" singer saying, "Hey, this is Taylor Swift. Listen to my entire catalog on Amazon Music Unlimited."
