Daily Horoscope for July 16, 2025
General Daily Insight for July 16, 2025 Nothing happens without forward motion. The expressive Moon hikes into headstrong Aries at 12:32 am EDT, filling us with bold, spontaneous energy and heightening our sense of adventure. As the Moon conjoins committed Saturn, we're able to keep our feet on the ground and be sensible about the adventures we're embarking on or beginning to plan. Finally, the Moon joins with whimsical Neptune to stop us from getting too serious and to keep our creativity flowing. We can be spontaneous and prepared! Aries March 21 – April 19 Caring for your personal needs isn't selfish, it's smart. You might be doing things that are specifically for you, such as touching up your appearance, getting a checkup to make sure that you're in good condition, or going to an event that your friends or family don't want to attend. That's totally normal. You may feel as though you ought to bring someone with you, but this is not the case. Don't be afraid to do things alone. Instead, take today to treat yourself! Taurus April 20 – May 20 Catching up on some much-needed rest is in the cards. You might also find yourself doing extra work behind the scenes, where other people are less able to see how much you're doing. Make sure that you're allowing yourself time for rest and relaxation. You may have been burning the candles at both ends recently — and you don't want to burn out! If you don't leave any fuel in the tank for tomorrow, it will be almost impossible to relight your inner flame. Gemini May 21 – June 20 Be open to going with the flow. Varying friends with clashing agendas for the day could continually come up to you, asking if you want to hang out. As long as you're willing to let the day unfold as it may, it'll be hard to go wrong. Being a good listener and understanding that tagging along can sometimes be the best path to a successful day might help you more than you realize. Let the river of life carry you wherever it flows. Cancer June 21 – July 22 Work hard — but not too hard. You might be about to realize that work has consumed your whole focus, or that you have countless responsibilities weighing you down. Remind yourself that making time for creativity and rest should be imperative. If you know that you're unlikely to rest if you don't put it in a schedule, then go ahead and plan out a few hours to do whatever your heart desires. Then, you can get back to your regularly scheduled programming. Leo July 23 – August 22 You can learn more than one thing at a time. You might feel like you need to focus on a single subject when engaging with a new skill or interest, but an opportunity to investigate two totally different topics at the same time could be quite fun. Even if these ideas seem completely unrelated, be open to learning about both and even synthesizing them in some ways. You never know, you could build a fresh perspective that you wouldn't have been able to grasp otherwise. Virgo August 23 – September 22 Honesty is the best policy. Maybe you're concerned that your truth is too confusing for an ongoing complex situation, or you worry that you aren't completely in the right, but also not entirely in the wrong. You're not wrong — this is a difficult place to be when you're working in a situation with multiple conflicting factors or points of view. Still, it's best to be truthful about what has taken place. Instead of trying to minimize anything, face it head on, complications and all! Libra September 23 – October 22 Some remain, while others fade away. You might find that some connections have suddenly left your life recently, while others have shown that they're there to stay. The people who have stuck around are likely to be with you for a long period of time — they may have already been in your life for years at this point. Cherish the ones who have stuck around the longest, because they're the people who should be rooting for you, not jealous of you. Scorpio October 23 – November 21 Releasing unsatisfactory habits is just as essential as starting new ones. Perhaps you resolved to wake up earlier, and it's simply not happening — that's okay! Instead of clutching something that's already slipped away from you, try to come at your issue from a different angle. Maybe you can be productive later into the evening rather than forcing yourself out of bed before dawn, for instance. Whatever your circumstances are, this is a good time to analyze your progress and plan your next steps. Sagittarius November 22 – December 21 You're letting delight come from different avenues today. You may gain a lot of fulfillment from completing a long-term project, such as repainting or cleaning out your garage, as well as from a fun and creative project, one that is likely connected to a hobby or artistic talent of yours. Of course, you don't have to be good at it — you just have to have fun! Make a point to abandon your ego and enjoy the process as much as possible. Capricorn December 22 – January 19 There is room in your heart for conflicting feelings. Feeling torn in two directions isn't fun, especially if one side wants to be responsible and mature, while the other is craving carefree whimsy. Your peers could have already chosen paths, and now they're all encouraging you to follow their polarized ideals. Make a point of searching for a compromise that accepts both options. There is nothing wrong with fun or practicality! You can achieve a joyful, productive life — it just takes a little maneuvering! Aquarius January 20 – February 18 You might receive multiple different opinions, but which one is aligned with yours? While listening to alternate ideas is a wise way to grow, you're allowed to decide how you ultimately feel about them. Once you analyze someone else's thoughts, you're free to disregard them in your own internal philosophy. That being said, make an effort to treat their information with the respect that you want in return. When everyone involved speaks thoughtfully, you can discuss even painful topics with utmost grace. Pisces February 19 – March 20 Sometimes you have to let go before you can receive. Pay attention to any signs that you've been clutching something too tightly, like excess emotional strain, general frustration, or intense neediness. This is the ideal day to set aside your worries and appreciate the future. You may have felt secure in a past situation, but in your heart, you probably knew that it wasn't fully meant for you. The change may initially feel less comfortable, but it should soon prove its worth.

‘Today Show' host Hoda Kotb is going on a book tour. Get tickets today
Vivid Seats is the New York Post's official ticketing partner. We may receive revenue from this partnership for sharing this content and/or when you make a purchase. Featured pricing is subject to change. Hoda Kotb is hitting the ground running. Before retiring from NBC's flagship 'Today Show' this past May, the longtime host announced her seventh book 'Jump and Find Joy: Embracing Change in Every Season of Life.' And, now, less than two months post-host gig, the 60-year-old anchor shared that she's going on a six-city tour to promote her literary effort that hits shelves on Sept. 23, 2025. That includes gigs in Charleston, SC (Sept. 20), Chicago, IL (Sept. 21) and New Orleans, LA (Sept. 26). At all shows, Kotb will share excerpts from 'Jump and Find Joy,' which is described as an intimate book that reveals for the first time what Hoda discovered as she started embracing change in every aspect of her life. 'It's filled with stories, inspiration, and little reminders to embrace the moment and choose joy—every single day,' she shared on her website. 'I can't wait for you to read it.' She also worked 'advice from change experts and deeply personal stories' from both celebrities and 'inspirational people in our own communities'' into the text, according to a description from Penguin Random House. Those who attend will be treated to a signed copy of the book. For more information, our team has everything you need to know and more about Hoda Kotb's 'Jump and Find Joy' book tour. Hoda Kotb tour schedule 2025 A complete calendar including all tour dates, venues and links to buy tickets can be found below. About 'Jump and Find Joy' Here is Amazon's official synopsis of Kotb's 'Jump and Find Joy': Hoda Kotb didn't expect to join the Today show at age forty-four. Or to become a mother at fifty-two. Or to leave Today and embark on a new adventure at sixty! Change doesn't always arrive when we expect it, and its effects are anything but predictable. But Hoda believes that the benefits of change can be extraordinary…if we're willing to listen to and learn from them. In the tradition of books like Savannah Guthrie's Mostly What God Does and Maria Shriver's I've Been Thinking comes Hoda Kotb's Jump and Find Joy—an intimate book that reveals for the first time what Hoda discovered as she started embracing change in every aspect of her life. In her quest to better understand change and how to work with (not against) it, Hoda relies on her reporting instincts to investigate HOW change works, WHO is approaching it with grace, and WHAT she can apply to her own life and share with others. Jump and Find Joy combines the wisdom of change experts, insights from the latest work on resilience, and deeply personal stories from celebrities and inspirational people in our own communities. From small shifts in daily routines to major leaps of faith, Hoda shows why change isn't to be feared but celebrated…and how each of us can thrive in the midst of changes we'll inevitably face ourselves. You can pre-order 'Jump and Find Joy' here. Hoda Kotb books Ahead of 'Jump and Find Joy,' Kotb released six books. Here's a bit about each of them: Hoda: How I Survived War Zones, Bad Hair, Cancer, and Kathie Lee Hoda's New York Times best-selling autobiography. Ten Years Later: Six People Who Faced Adversity and Transformed Their Lives Six stories about people that changed their lives…ten years after they made the adjustment. Where We Belong: Journeys That Show Us The Way A number of stories about inspiring people who unexpectedly 'found themselves.' I've Loved You Since Forever Kotb's first children's book; it's a testament to the timeless love between parent and child. You Are My Happy A second children's book; this one celebrates gratitude in life. I Really Needed This Today An inspiring collection of quotes that offer wisdom, courage, and hope. Huge artists on tour in 2025 Kotb not coming to a venue near you? In that case, here are just five huge artists that might be headed your way these next few months. • Dolly Parton • Bonnie Raitt • Patti LuPone • Heart • Stevie Nicks Also, don't miss Yusuf/Cat Stevens on his book tour this October. It'll be the show of the fall. This article was written by Matt Levy, New York Post live events reporter. Levy stays up-to-date on all the latest tour announcements from your favorite musical artists and comedians, as well as Broadway openings, sporting events and more live shows – and finds great ticket prices online. Since he started his tenure at the Post in 2022, Levy has reviewed a Bruce Springsteen concert and interviewed Melissa Villaseñor of SNL fame, to name a few. ‘Today' co-hosts tease Carson Daly over Jennifer Love Hewitt romance: ‘We know what you did THAT summer'
Carson Daly's co-hosts are teasing him over this past flame. While on the 'Today' show on Tuesday for his pop culture segment, Daly, 52, discussed the 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' sequel. The 1997 original movie starred Freddie Prinze Jr. as Ray Bronson, Sarah Michelle Gellar as Helen Shivers, Ryan Phillippe as Barry William Cox, and the entertainment host's ex-girlfriend, Jennifer Love Hewitt, as Julie James. 10 Carson Daly on the 'Today Show' in March. Nathan Congleton/NBC via Getty Images Twenty-eight years later, they created another flick for the franchise with Prinze, 49, Hewitt, 46, and a new cast. Gellar and Phillippe's characters died in the original movie. During his segment, Daly pulled up a picture of the Prinze and Gellar, 48, from the original 1997 premiere, as well as a shot of them during Monday night's premiere. The real-life married couple first met on the 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' movie set, but didn't start dating until 2000. 10 Carson Daly and Jennifer Love Hewitt attend the 'I Still Know What You Did Last Summer' premiere. Ron Galella Collection via Getty Images While Daly was showing the pics of Prinze and Gellar, Savannah Guthrie couldn't help but bring up another relationship during that time period. 'Were you at that premiere?' Guthrie asked, while Jenna Bush Hager echoed her co-host's sentiments, inquiring, 'Did you go to that premiere?' When Daly slyly responded, 'I'm not sure. I can't remember 30 years ago,' Guthrie clapped back, 'We know what you did that summer.' 10 Carson Daly and Jennifer Love Hewitt during 1998 MTV Video Music Awards. WireImage 'Yeah, I've heard the jokes,' Daly laughed back. 'I'm aware.' The anchor then told viewers to 'Google it' as Daly labeled his co-hosts a 'tough crowd.' The 'Voice' host and Hewitt dated for a year in the late '90s. 10 Jennifer Love Hewitt and Carson Daly during the MTV Bash. FilmMagic Daly did not attend the October 1997 carpet, but was at the premiere of 1998's 'I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.' Both stars have since moved on romantically. Hewitt tied the knot with her 'Client List' co-star, Brian Hallisay, in 2013. The couple shares three kids: Autumn, 11, Atticus, 10, and Aidan, 3. Daly has been married to Siri Pinter since 2015. They are parents to Jackson, 16, Etta, 12, and London, 10, and Goldie, 5. 10 Jennifer Love Hewitt attends the 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' premiere in 1997. The 'Ghost Whisperer' alum rocked a new ginger-colored 'do and a long, black Rachel Gilbert dress embellished with jewels. The original movie followed a group of four friends who accidentally kill a man. One year later, they're stalked by a hook-wielding killer. 10 Jennifer Love Hewitt attends the 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' premiere in 2025. / Along with a blast from the past, the franchise added a slew of new faces to the sequel, including Madelyn Cline, Chase Sui Wonders, Lola Tung, and Nicholas Alexander Chavez, although the last two stars' roles were slashed for editing purposes. This time around, 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' follows five friends who 'inadvertently cause a deadly car accident' before they 'cover up their involvement and make a pact to keep it a secret rather than face the consequences,' per Sony Pictures. However, 'a year later, their past comes back to haunt them and they're forced to confront a horrifying truth: someone knows what they did last summer…and is hell-bent on revenge. As one by one the friends are stalked by a killer, they discover this has happened before, and they turn to two survivors of the legendary Southport Massacre of 1997 for help.' 10 Jennifer Love Hewitt and her husband Brian Hallisay. Jennifer Love Hewitt/Instagram In April, Hewitt got candid on re-joining the franchise. 'I'll be super honest, I had total anxiety for 48 hours before [filming] because I was like, 'Can I do this? Am I going to pull this off?' It's a lot of pressure,' she told People at the time. Her fears were soon put to rest. 10 Carson Daly with his wife and kids in 2017. 'And for me to stand by like a proud mom and say, 'It's yours now, take it and run and enjoy.'' It really felt like an honor. Stepping into her shoes again was really fun.' Hewitt's character has also found its way into her home life. Julie James has an iconic line in the original movie, yelling at the killer, 'What are you waiting for, huh?' Her youngest son 'now says it daily.' Hewitt told Screen Rant in an interview published Tuesday: 'Just the other day, he was standing on the stairs, and he goes, 'Mommy, I want to go to the park. What are you waiting for, huh?'' 10 Jennifer Love Hewitt in 'I Know What You Did Last Summer.' ©Columbia Pictures/Courtesy Everett Collection 'And he just says these things, and now for dinner, he'll be like, 'I'm hungry. What are you waiting for, huh?' And it's hilarious, literally me on the floor laughing every time. So I love it. It's been great, and I just appreciate that there's a line that means that much to people out there.' 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' hits theaters on Friday.
