Who Is Gauri Spratt?
Celebrating his 60th birthday this year, Bollywood icon Aamir Khan made headlines when he introduced the media to his new partner, Gauri Spratt . Known for being open about his personal journey, Khan shared insights into his evolving relationship during a candid conversation with Filmfare. He emphasized the transformative role that therapy has played in helping him become a more emotionally grounded and balanced individual. This, in turn, has allowed his bond with Gauri to flourish in a healthier and more peaceful way.Khan admitted that he had undergone therapy for the past four years. He acknowledged that his personal growth through therapy sessions has made a significant impact on his new relationship. As a result of working on himself, the version of Aamir that Gauri has come to know is more self-aware, settled, and emotionally present. He said that therapy helped him make better decisions in his personal life. 'Take something as basic as choosing a partner; after four years of therapy, I can now spot red flags from a mile away," he told Filmfare. This inner healing has laid the foundation for a stronger and more meaningful connection between the two. 'Gauri is meeting a different Aamir now, a more healed version. A little more at ease. Hopefully, a little better."The actor also spoke with deep appreciation for his former wives, Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao. Despite their marriages ending, Khan highlighted that both women have continued to be sources of warmth and encouragement in his life. Their mutual admiration and respect, he believes, have allowed them to maintain close, meaningful ties even after parting ways. Aamir acknowledged the uniqueness of these relationships, emphasizing the absence of resentment or bitterness in both cases.Recalling a personal moment involving Reena's father, Aamir described how she reached out to him when her father was diagnosed with cancer but was reluctant to seek medical help. Aamir was able to persuade him to undergo treatment. This incident, he noted, was a reflection of the deep trust that still exists between them. Witnessing such unity during his daughter Ira's wedding, Aamir was struck by how rare it is for such enduring affection to persist even after divorce.Professionally, Aamir Khan has returned to acting with Sitaare Zameen Par , a sports drama directed by RS Prasanna. Touted as a spiritual continuation of his acclaimed 2007 film Taare Zameen Par, the new release has performed exceptionally well at the box office, raking in over Rs 115 crore in just six days.Gauri Spratt, originally from Bengaluru, is associated with Aamir Khan Films and has academic credentials in fashion, styling, and photography from the University of Arts in London. She comes from a diverse background, with a Tamilian mother and an Irish father, and is a single mother to a six-year-old son. While she and Aamir have known each other for over 25 years, their relationship only recently evolved into a romantic one.

"Meaningful and very fruitful meeting": Boney Kapoor meets UP CM Yogi Adityanath

New Delhi [India], June 26 (ANI): Film producer Boney Kapoor met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. On Thursday, Boney posted a picture on Instagram where he offered a flower bouquet to the CM. He wrote, 'Had a meaningful & very fruitful meeting with Shri Yogi Adityanath ji Hon'ble CM of UP.' Recently, Boney Kapoor's company, Bayview Projects LLP, on Tuesday submitted the detailed layout plan of the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's dream project, the 'International Film City,' to the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), officials said. YEIDA will now review the plan, and after giving the necessary approvals, formal construction work of the film city will begin, according to the press note by YEIDA. The International Film City is planned to be developed over 1,000 acres in Sector-21 along the Yamuna Expressway. The first phase will kick off on 230 acres of land, with an estimated cost of Rs 1,510 crore. CEO Arun Veer Singh made it clear that construction will fully follow the agreement, and no changes will be accepted without approval. He said that Bayview Projects LLP, selected as the highest bidder by offering 18 per cent of gross revenue share, was issued the Letter of Award last year. As per the press note, separate NOCs for parking, landscaping, and gardening will be required for approvals. On June 27, 2024, YEIDA and the concessionaire representative Boney Kapoor signed the concession agreement. As per this, the site's right-of-way was transferred to the concessionaire on February 27, 2025. The master plan of the Film City was approved on January 30, 2025. The project will be completed in three phases over the next eight years. In the first phase, construction will take place on 230 acres, and in the future, expansion will happen on the remaining 770 acres in phases 2 and 3. The first 155 acres will be used for building main structures such as film studios, sound stages, post-production units, and a film institute. Additionally, 75 acres will be developed into a commercial center with retail, offices, and entertainment complexes, but this will start only after the film-related buildings are completed. Rajiv Arora, GM of Bayview Projects LLP, said construction will begin immediately after all approvals. He said, 'We will build a Film City that will fulfil Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's dreams.' Notably, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will lay the foundation stone for the project. The proposed International Film City in Sector 21 is a historic step toward making Uttar Pradesh a national and international film production hub. It will not only create jobs and attract investment but also promote the state's cultural heritage. For film lovers and youth, this project will be more than just a job opportunity; it will be a platform to fulfil their dreams. This project is expected to create about 500,000 direct and indirect jobs. The upcoming International Film City will include a grand convention centre with 10,000 seats, where big film ceremonies and events will take place. Along with this it will include, a museum based on Indian cinema, a special film festival area, which will have a guest house and an auditorium, separate accommodation facilities for artists, small studio units with different Indian architectural styles, which can be rented for shooting or staying and large sound stages and an underwater shooting studio. Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Sreeleela Pose Together For First Time Since Pushpa 2, Quash Rift Rumours

The actresses made a striking joint appearance at a recent event, where their warmth and elegance spoke louder than any rumours. Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Sreeleela have seemingly put to rest all speculation of tension between them following the Pushpa 2 dance song controversy. The actresses made a striking joint appearance at a recent event, where their warmth and elegance spoke louder than any rumours. In the photo that's now going viral, Samantha and Sreeleela can be seen exchanging smiles and holding hands, radiating camaraderie. Samantha, dressed in a black sheer gown with an intricate lace bodice and plunging neckline, looked glamorous and confident. Her hair was styled in soft waves, framing her face elegantly. Sreeleela, on the other hand, opted for a bold off-shoulder red gown that accentuated her silhouette. With her hair tied in a chic bun and minimal accessories, she exuded effortless grace. The two actresses were seen chatting and posing side-by-side, putting an end to months of conjecture. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Snehkumar Zala (@sneyhzala) The buzz around their alleged fallout began last year after reports emerged that Sreeleela had replaced Samantha in a special dance number for Pushpa 2. The new track, titled Kissik, drew inevitable comparisons to Samantha's blockbuster hit Oo Antava from Pushpa: The Rise. While Oo Antava became a cultural phenomenon, the reactions to Kissik were mixed, prompting further scrutiny. During a press conference, Sreeleela addressed the backlash and clarified her decision to be part of the film. 'The song itself will justify my choice. It's not your typical item song. There's a strong narrative reason behind it, which will become clear when the movie releases," she said. Rumours also swirled around pay disparities, with claims that Samantha received Rs 5 crore for her appearance in Oo Antava, while Sreeleela got Rs 2 crore. Laughing off the speculation, Sreeleela said, 'We haven't even discussed the remuneration with the producers yet." First Published: June 27, 2025, 01:39 IST
