Kendrick Lamar might've had the GOAT Super Bowl show
Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl halftime show was INCREDIBLE. Where would you rank this among the best performances ever? Sykes says it's up there
Will this year's American Music Awards be another sweep for Kendrick Lamar, the 'Not Like Us' rapper going into the show with the most nominations?
Lamar, currently on one of the year's most lucrative tours, already swept the Grammys, winning each of the five categories he was nominated for including record and song of the year. Will his Drake diss track earn him artist of the year and song of the year at the AMAs too?
Following Lamar's 10 nods, is Post Malone, who landed eight nominations. Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan and Shaboozey, earned seven each while Taylor Swift, the AMAs' most decorated artist, received six.
Beyoncé has a shot to win best country album and album of the year, despite her earlier snub at the Country Music Association Awards and later the Academy of Country Music Awards.
Fans voted on the winners, which will be announced May 26 from the show at Fontainebleau Las Vegas and hosted by Jennifer Lopez. The show airs live on CBS and streams on Paramount+ for select subscribers.
Who took home a trophy? Here are the biggest winners of the night (in bold):

Eminem's Publishing Company Files Copyright Lawsuit Against Meta
Eminem's publishing company Eight Mile Style has filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against Meta. The suit filed in the U.S. District Court Eastern District of Michigan Southern Division and reviewed by Rolling Stone alleges that the company that owns Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp has distributed the rapper's music across its platforms without proper licensing permissions. 'Despite their not being licensed, the recordings of the Eight Mile Compositions have been reproduced and synchronized with visual content on Meta's platforms across millions of videos, which have been viewed billions of times,' the complaint claims. 'Meta's years-long and ongoing infringement of the Eight Mile Compositions is another case of a trillion (with a 'T') dollar company exploiting the creative efforts of musical artists for the obscene monetary benefit of its executives and shareholders without a license and without regard to the rights of the owners of the intellectual property.' More from Rolling Stone Eminem, Post Malone Make Cameos in Adam Sandler's 'Happy Gilmore 2' Trailer Watch Eminem Join Jelly Roll for 'Lose Yourself' at Detroit Show Eminem Stalker Convicted After Second Home Invasion Eight Mile Style is the owner of 243 musical compositions, including 'Lose Yourself,' 'The Real Slim Shady,' 'Forgot About Dre,' and other notable releases from Eminem. The suit acknowledges that Meta 'has removed several of the Eight Mile Compositions from its Music Libraries in the preceding months,' including 'Lose Yourself,' but states that a karaoke version, a piano instrumental, and one regular cover version by a different artist are still available. 'This in addition to other prominent Eminem works which remain available on Meta's services,' the company's lawyers claim, citing 'Till I Collapse.' The suit alleges that Meta's 'rampant infringement' extends beyond allowing users to upload copyrighted audio to its platforms. 'This case involves Meta's knowing infringement of the Eight Mile Compositions by first reproducing and storing them in Meta's online Music Libraries, and then distributing them for users to select and incorporate into their own photos and videos made available for public streaming on the users' WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram accounts,' the complaint claims. The publishing company is seeking monetary damages 'including actual damages, damages for the diminished value of the copyrights by Defendants' theft of them, lost profits, and Defendants' profits attributable to the infringement.' Alternatively, the company is seeking 'maximum statutory damages for willful copyright infringement for each of Eight Mile Style's works,' which would amount to '$150,000 per work, times 243 works, times 3 platforms,' or $109,350,000. Eight Mile Style has also requested a permanent injunction to halt ongoing infringement. A rep for Meta did not immediately return Rolling Stone's request for comment. The legal filing comes less than a year after Eight Mile Style lost its copyright infringement lawsuit against Spotify after five years due to a legal loophole. In September, a Tennessee judge ruled that while Spotify did not have the proper streaming license, as the publisher claimed, any imposed penalties would have fallen on Kobalt Music Group, a royalty collection agency. In the suit, Eight Mile Style sought nearly $40 million, claiming to not have received payment for billions of Spotify streams. Oilers, Connor McDavid are sportsbook liabilities in the Stanley Cup Final
Oilers, Connor McDavid are sportsbook liabilities in the Stanley Cup Final Welcome to Prince's Picks, a collection of betting news, analysis and opinions from BetFTW senior writer Prince J. Grimes. As the Stanley Cup Final gets set to begin tonight, it may feel like everyone outside of Florida is pulling for Connor McDavid to finally win his first cup and cement his legacy as one of the greatest players ever. However, don't count the sportsbook among those pulling for McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers. It's not simply that Edmonton is a slim favorite to win the series, with 54% of tickets at BetMGM and 59% of money on an Oilers victory. It's also that an Oilers win would likely strengthen McDavid's case to win the Conn Smythe Trophy, which he's already a +100 favorite to win. Last week, McDavid was the second-biggest liability to win the award at BetMGM. With Mikko Rantanen now out of the race, the book is completely against McDavid -- though it doesn't want to see Florida's Sergei Bobrovsky (+250) win either. 'BetMGM is pulling for the Panthers in a Stanley Cup Finals rematch," BetMGM senior trader Matthew Rasp said in an email. "The Oilers have been a losing result for us all season, and we hope anyone besides Connor McDavid or Sergei Bobrovsky wins the Conn Smythe trophy.' As we saw last year, a Florida win doesn't necessarily mean McDavid won't still win the Conn Smythe, but it does give someone like Bobrovsky or Aleksander Barkov (+500) a better chance considering the roles they'd likely play in a potential Panthers triumph. After those three, Leon Draisaitl (+700) and Matthew Tkachuk (+2500) have the next best odds for the award. Edmonton is a -130 favorite on the moneyline for Game 1. McDavid to score a goal is the most popular prop at BetMGM. Did someone say Panthers? From the Florida Panthers to the Carolina Panthers. Only one of these teams has been a championship contender recently, but what if I told you that's about to change in 2025? What if I told you the Carolina cats are about to rise back to prominence -- and make it to the Super Bowl? Are you belly laughing yet? Yeah, I'll admit the thought of it was pretty funny to me too, but one eerie, totally not coincidental trend does make a convincing argument -- if you're prone to root for the Panthers -- that maybe just maybe Bryce Young has a chance to do something special this year. This is from OVIES and GIGLIO: Anyone who believes this trend means anything should go ahead and throw a couple bucks on Carolina's +6000 odds at BetMGM to win the NFC -- then immediately check yourself into a hospital to get examined. Sorry to bust bubbles, but as much as I believe Carolina is finally headed in the right direction, no way is this a team ready to push for a Super Bowl in 2025. The Panthers' odds to simply make the playoffs are +300. Show improve this season, and we can revisit this conversation a year from now. World Series of Poker The World Series of Poker got underway last week, and while I don't have much to report on that front until the main event gets started next month, here's a video of players giving themselves odds to get you warmed up:

Former Saints QB Chase Daniel reflects on heartbreaking playoff losses
Former Saints QB Chase Daniel reflects on heartbreaking playoff losses 'I've been a part of some of the worst playoff losses in NFL history' Chase Daniel has done really well for himself, especially at the bank. He earned a whopping $43.1 million through 14 years as an NFL backup quarterback, spending time with seven different teams -- most notably the New Orleans Saints, where he spent five years of his career. Daniel won a Super Bowl ring with the Saints as a rookie in 2009 and later returned to the team in 2017. While he was inactive for many of them, he had a front-row seat to many playoff games along the way. And from where he stands, while he didn't throw many passes himself, he didn't exactly have an easy time of it in the league. "I've been a part of some of the worst playoff losses in NFL history," Daniel wrote on social media, rattling off a series of painful exits in the postseason. He watched Marshawn Lynch run wild in the "Beast Quake" game during the 2010 playoffs with the Saints, then saw Stefon Diggs do the same in the 2017 "Minneapolis Miracle" (also called the Minnesota Miracle). And that was just with New Orleans. As a member of the Chicago Bears in 2018, Daniel saw a rare "Double Doink" field goal try bounce off of the left upright and onto the crossbar before falling to the turf, ending Chicago's season. He's seen history made, too. Daniel was the Kansas City Chiefs' backup quarterback in a 2013 wild-card game they initially led 38-10, but lost 45-44 after Andrew Luck rallied the Indianapolis Colts with four touchdown passes and another score off of a wacky fumble recovery. Just a few years ago in the 2022 playoffs, Daniel was a member of the Los Angeles Chargers when they took a 27-0 lead and squandered it, losing 31-30 to the Jacksonville Jaguars. That's a brutal legacy to put together. That Daniel woke up in a cold sweat at his lovely California home, got on his phone at just after 6 a.m. California time, and reflected on all those defeats in a tweet speaks volumes. Losing is never easy. Between his time with the Saints and a few other unfortunate teams, he's had to deal with more heartbreaking season-ending losses than most.
