The pair hit up the Goffs Arkle sale in Ireland on Tuesday and got the cheque book out in style - snapping up three hugely promising sorts.
The pick of the bunch was a £130,000 gelding by champion jumps sire Walk In The Park, whose mum Lackaneen Leader was placed in a Grade 1.
Meg, who combines her role as an ITV pundit with sourcing top talent, said: "I'm absolutely delighted to get him.
"We got our three top picks, and thought we might have had to stretch a bit more for the Walk In The Park.
"Dad actually loved him from the moment he came out of his box.
"His eyes lit up really, the horse had that bit of class about him.
"He's really athletic, and we can't wait to get him back and get him going.
"We knew he would make this sort of money – he really is classy, he had that swagger about him, and he's by the right sire.
"We've been fighting hard against some big stables and as I have got older I've found it easier to work alongside Dad!
"To get some pretty smart horses at what we valued them at - I'm delighted. Now we need to find the right owners for them."
The pair also bought £78,000 L'Ami Pierrot, who is related to Nicky Henderson's former multiple Grade 1 winner L'Ami Serge.
Being by Nirvana Du Berlais, he also shares a sire with Lulamba, so expect him to be a speedy sort capable over hurdles.
The Nicholls also went to £75,000 for an unnamed gelding by Vadamos, whose progeny include Grade 3 winner The Other Mozzie and Grade 1-placed runners such as Matata and King Of Kingsfield.
Nicholls told Sun Racing he will continue to work with long-time sales ally Tom Malone.
But he thought it would be beneficial having another set of eyes helping him too, hence the decision to bring in Meg.
He said: "I've been hearing all sorts of rumours, Tom and I are good mates but there has never been any contract between us.
"He's a freelance and he buys plenty for me, so do several others.
"I'm going to work with everybody, but Megan is going to get quite a bit more involved for me.
"Results could have gone better over the last few years but that's the way things are, it's very hard buying these days.
"I'll keep all avenues open, but more so than ever I'd like to get Megan much more involved on that front."

100-1 Royal Ascot horse ‘could be one of the biggest gambles ever' after odds DESTROYED for top trainer

Those on at big prices will be crossing their fingers LIFF ME UP 100-1 Royal Ascot horse 'could be one of the biggest gambles ever' after odds DESTROYED for top trainer Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A little-known horse who has seen his odds OBLITERATED from 100-1 into 8-1 could be 'one of the biggest Royal Ascot gambles ever', petrified bookies have confirmed. Trainer Joseph O'Brien, son of iconic handler Aidan, has watched the odds on The Liffey tumble down repeatedly in the build-up to the world's biggest Flat racing festival. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 1 Joseph O'Brien is a trainer who knows how to land a punt - and he could seal one of the biggest ever at Royal Ascot if The Liffey wins the Royal Hunt Cup Credit: PA The four-year-old gelding has raced just four times in his life and used to be trained by the Ballydoyle king. But The Liffey was moved to Joseph's Kilkenny yard in April this year, a month before he made his comeback after 350 days off the track. Interestingly, John Magnier and Derrick Smith, two-thirds of the all-conquering Coolmore syndicate, kept their share in the horse while Michael Tabor opted out. Two more owners came in ahead of his encouraging fourth-placed finish at odds of 16-1 in a Listed contest over seven furlongs at Naas. While he might not have looked a world-beater on the occasion, his subsequent mark of 98 has led many to believe the handicapper has seriously underestimated him. And a gamble from odds of 100-1 last month into just 8-1 now suggests the son of No Nay Never is capable of much more. While it doesn't take stacks of cash to move a market in the Royal Hunt Cup handicap this far out, bookies have certainly taken notice of the monster plunge. Paddy Power's Paul Binfield said: "We first put The Liffey into the race at 100-1 and we took plenty of bets at fancy prices. "Those wagers meant he was already a decent loser for a handicap so far from post-time, but then when we were around the 20-1 mark momentum really took off and he's now incredulously into just 8-1. "He's already a bad ante-post result for us. "It's a little too early to say it's turning into one of the biggest ever Royal extravaganza gambles we've ever encountered. "Mainly because the money we've seen is unlikely to be of the scale of liabilities we'll be holding on the actual day. "But should the momentum continue in the way that it has, and punters get stuck into the No Nay Never gelding on that Wednesday, it's certainly not inconceivable that it might be up there." How to find the perfect DD+ dress for summer Looking for the perfect summer dress to fit your bigger bust? Deputy Fashion Editor Abby McHale has the perfect solution. Looking for the perfect summer dress to fit your bigger bust? Deputy Fashion Editor Abby McHale has the perfect solution. Finding a dress that flatters your bigger bust can be hard, often dresses can leave your bra showing, squash your bust and just be ill fitting in general. However, there are a few things you can look out for that will make dress shopping easier. A V-neck is a really flattering neckline as it gives your chest some more space, however, don't discount a square neck also, not only is this a trendy neckline, but will also give your bust the room it needs. Empire line fits are also super flattering, you just need to make sure they fall underneath the bottom of your bra, that way your bust will sit nicely before the rest of the dress skims your body. Wrap style dresses are also a great option but just make sure to look for an added popper detail, so that you don't have to use a safety pin to hold the dress in place and stop your bra from showing. Extra shirring detail on the back will also give the dress more room for stretch around your chest. And if you're looking for a backless dress then make sure there is one with a tie detail at the back that means you can still wear a bra. If all that sounds like something you're interested in then here at Fabulous we have created a collection specifically designed for DD+ boobs that ticks all of these boxes. Check it out here at The frock, which is amazing for avoiding those tan lines this summer, has become a mega hit on social media, as Katrina's video has racked up close to 140k views in just two days. More than 2,700 people gave it a like, as dozens flooded to comments, where one wrote: ''Gorgeous aren't they, I got the black one and the cream one, I was gutted they didn't have the green in my size.'' A mum-to-be chimed in: ''Oh my goodness my pregnant self NEEDS these dresses.'' A third said: ''Loveeee these !!! Suits you so well too.'' Meanwhile, someone else warned: ''i've got the cream one it's beautiful but is a bit see through.''

A false rumour began to circulate a few days ago that he had sadly passed away. But his wife Amy has shut down these claims, telling TMZ Sports that he is "definitely still fighting" for his life. Former fighter-turned-commentator Daniel Cormier revealed Askren has been transferred to a hospital in his hometown of Wisconsin. He said: "Everybody is just kind of praying that Ben gets better and we can start moving forward with life for Ben. 'It's so sad. I don't know how things like this happen to someone who is so good because Ben is a good guy. 'Pray for Amy, guys. Pray for the kids. Ben, we love you, buddy. We are constantly thinking about him every single day." Askren's partner Amy, who he married in 2010 and has three kids with, released an emotional statement on Tuesday. It read: "Feeling so incredibly thankful for our friends and community. 'It's times like this that remind you how truly blessed you are. 'I feel God moving through the love and support we have received. "I'm sorry if I haven't had the chance to respond to you, but know I've seen your messages, and each one has meant so much to me. 'Please keep praying for Ben.' Former Bellator welterweight world champion Askren retired from MMA in 2019 after three UFC fights. He fought Jake Paul in a boxing clash in 2021, losing via a first round knockout.
