Murthal Paratha Trip Turns Fatal As SUV Crashes On NH-44 Flyover; 3 Dead, 1 Injured
A late-night trip to Murthal turned tragic when four friends' Scorpio-N collided with a truck on NH-44, killing three and critically injuring one
A late-night outing to Murthal for parathas turned into a horrific tragedy for four friends when their Scorpio-N collided with a truck and caught fire on the Sector-7 flyover along National Highway 44 on Wednesday night. Three of the young men lost their lives in the fiery accident, while the fourth is battling for survival in a private hospital.
The deceased have been identified as Sachin, a resident of Sirsali in Uttar Pradesh's Baghpat district, and Prince and Shekhar alias Aditya, both from Binoli, UP. The lone survivor, Vishal, also from Binoli, remains critically injured and is undergoing treatment.
According to preliminary investigations, the group had travelled to the popular paratha destination of Murthal, Haryana, late on Wednesday, July 2. As they were returning, their vehicle is believed to have lost control on the Sector-7 flyover and crashed into a truck. The impact was so severe that the SUV burst into flames almost immediately.
'Late last night, a car lost control and collided with a truck on National Highway 44. After which three people died and one is injured," said police press spokesperson Ravindra Kumar, on Thursday.
The Bahalgarh Police teams arrived at the scene shortly after the incident was reported. The charred remains of the vehicle were recovered, and the three bodies were sent to the civil hospital mortuary for postmortem. The extent of the fire and damage made initial identification difficult.
Shekhar, also known as Aditya, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The others, Sachin and Prince, were declared dead at the scene. Vishal, who was reportedly driving the SUV, is said to be in critical condition but stable, according to hospital sources.
The accident has sent shockwaves through the local communities of Binauli and Baghpat, from where the victims hailed. Families are in mourning, and questions are being raised about the safety measures on NH-44's flyovers, especially at night.
Police have not confirmed whether speed, fatigue, or poor visibility played a role in the crash. The investigation is ongoing, and officers are expected to review CCTV footage from the highway and speak to eyewitnesses and the truck driver.

"Famous Cricketer Asked Me To Meet In Person": Kashish Kapoor, Bigg Boss 18 Contestant, Reveals Creepy Experience
Kashish Kapoor, Bigg Boss 18 contestant and actor, has made an interesting claim when asked in an interview about a creepy experience. "Have you found any one creepy?" she was asked by the anchor. "Actually this very famous cricketer. That was a little creepy also. He asked to meet in person. I denied. You are a cricketer at home. To me you are a guy, impress me. I wouldn't be impressed just because of your occupation right. He thought I should be impressed because he is a cricketer and it can be easy. But I don't like that. You're a cricketer, its a profession, I respect, but to me you are not going to bat and bowl with me that I am going to be impressed," she said on Filmygyan Viral. Back in July, Kashish Kapoo alleged she was robbed of Rs 4.5 lakh in cash from her house in Mumbai's Andheri. Ms Kapoor has registered a First Information Report (FIR) against her domestic help, Sachin Kumar Chaudhary, who has been missing ever since the robbery, for allegedly stealing money from her cupboard. Actor Kashish Kapoor had kept Rs 7 lakh in cash in her cupboard. She was to send it to her mother in her hometown. However, one day, when she opened the cupboard to take out the cash, over half of it was missing. Only Rs 2.5 lakh was present there. The suspicion fell on Sachin, Ms Kapoor's domestic help, who went missing after the incident. The actor has registered a complaint at the Amboli Police Station. The police are investigating the case and searching for Sachin. The initial investigation suggests that Sachin had planned to flee the house immediately after taking some cash. "I am very hurt by this incident. I trusted that person, but he has hurt both my feelings and trust," Ms Kapoor said. "I hope the police will catch him as soon as possible and justice will be served," she added.
