Incredible moment hero lorry driver SAVES person from burning building as smoke pours from windows
This is the heartstopping moment a hero lorry driver reversed his truck near a burning building to save a man.
Huge plumes of black smoke could be seen billowing from a three-storey building in Granby Row, Dublin, yesterday morning.
Dramatic footage posted online shows a Eurospar lorry with its hazard lights flashing edging closer to the building as the inferno rages above a Thai massage parlour.
A man wearing a dark top and trousers then leaps from the block and through the smoke before a deafening thud is heard as he lands on the lorry's roof.
A total of seven people were treated at the scene, with three being taken to hospital for treatment.
Gardai is investigating the blaze with a spokesperson saying the street was closed in order for the scene to be preserved.
A spokesperson said: 'Gardai assisted emergency services at the scene of a fire at a premises on Granby Row, Dublin, this morning, Tuesday 24th June 2025.
'The scene is currently being preserved and street is closed with local diversions in place.
'Three people have been taken to hospital. Investigation is ongoing.'

Photos of the aftermath of the fire shows the building blackened and window frames melted with the glass shattered.
A Dublin Fire Brigade spokesperson said earlier: 'Dublin Fire Brigade was called at 0813 hrs to reports of a fire in a building off Granby Row. On arrival firefighters found a four storey building with a fire located on the third floor.
'In total, seven people were treated at the scene with three being transported to hospital by two Dublin Fire Brigade ambulances and one National Ambulance Service ambulance.
'Six fire engines were sent to the incident including a turntable ladder and emergency tender.
'Breathing apparatus teams were committed to fight and extinguish the fire and it is now under control.
'Two fire engines remain on scene along with a District Officer and firefighting operations are ongoing. Traffic restrictions are in place and road users should avoid the area.'

An abandoned dog has gone from stray to sniffer after joining the spaniel Hank was found lost, distressed and emaciated in a field by a member of the public in no owners could be traced, so Derbyshire Police stepped in to adopt Hank to move him into their dog section in treatment for roundworm and parasites, as well as a special diet including plenty of beef tripe, Hank has bounced back to health and by May began formal training to become a sniffer dog. Dog handler PC Dave Collier, who has been training Hank, says he is "independent, funny, and a quick learner".He said: "He's a real workhorse and he absolutely loves searching. "He's built for the job and incredibly determined."He doesn't take being told off very well though - he'll grumble back at you and mutter under his breath."

Kent's RSPCA rescues about 100 guinea pigs from property
The RSPCA is caring for dozens of guinea pigs which were among about 100 of the animals to be rescued from a property in of the males among the 72 guinea pigs being cared for by the RSPCA's team in Leybourne will need new homes once they are neutered, and the charity is appealing for potential adopters to contact them."Ideally they will need someone with a good understanding of their needs as these poor lads have had a bad start in life so [they] will need time, patience and confidence-building," a charity spokesperson RSPCA says the animals will need to be kept with either a single or a group of female guinea pigs in a large pen of more than 5ft (1.5m). One of the kittens and the mum escaped when the box was opened, but the mother was found hiding in someone's house after almost 24 two of her kittens have RSPCA's Canterbury and District Animal Centre is now providing round-the-clock care to the surviving kittens, that have been named Arwen, Gimli and Frodo, and their mum, who has been named inspector Deborah Rutherford said: "There's absolutely no excuse to dump animals like this." Anyone with information about how the cats came to be abandoned is asked to contact the RSPCA.
