I'll write. I've been immersed in my new book, The House of Wolf. It's like steel shutters being slammed down, and I concentrate on what I'm doing, regardless of what's going on around me. I was an only child – my parents doted on me and were always talking to me, but I wasn't listening as I was always doing something else. My mum took me to an ear specialist because she thought I was deaf.
9am
A slow-burn breakfast because I don't want to eat again until evening. Microwaved porridge, zero-fat yogurt, and blueberries and raspberries decorating it in a pyramid, so you can't see the boringness of the porridge underneath.
10am
I drive to see my granddaughters, who are 16 and 13, play football. It's one of the most exciting new things in my life. Women's football has exploded exponentially. If you watch boys' football, from about age 13, you could cut the ambition with a knife. With girls, there's a whole different spirit about it. I shout praise, which might be embarrassing for them to receive from a 78-year-old man, but I would say, honestly, it's when I'm at my happiest.
12pm
Down the M4 to watch Bristol City. They're an extraordinary football team. Every year for the past 10 years – and I think I'm only slightly exaggerating here – they have come between 11th and 13th in the Championship, so a really exciting year is when they come 11th and a really depressing year is when they come 13th. This is not what most football supporters see as excitement. At the moment, it looks like we may make the play-offs this year, and consequently I'm in seventh heaven.
5pm
Back to west London, listening to the radio. There's been a real renaissance of Radio 4, the imagination of the programmes is great. It could be a show about Ray Charles's childhood, then 'Who's best, Aristotle or Plato?' followed by a documentary about tap dancers with disabilities. If I'm part-way through a programme and get home, I sit in the car until it finishes.
7pm
I'll read scripts, like the ones for The Madame Blanc Mysteries [Thursdays at 9pm on Channel 5; or streaming on channel5.com]. In fact I didn't even need to look at the script at first, I just thought, '[Co-creator] Sally Lindsay is lovely and it's filmed in Gozo,' but then I read it and it was fantastic. I had a cameo role that turned into a whole series this time. As an actor, the length of your employment is normally so short that there's always part of you thinking, 'How am I going to pay the phone bill?'

My wife and I always have Saturday evenings together; I can't remember the last time we didn't. I've been cavalier in my relationships as far as time is concerned – I think people are supposed to say, 'I have no regrets,' but I do. I wish I'd had the integrity to spend more time with partners. Sometimes you've got nine things on the go and the one you can put at the bottom of the list is your partner, but it's so damaging.
8.30pm
Around 60 paces from home, we have an Everyman cinema, which knocks every other cinema experience into a corner. I feel like a little boy living next to a sweet shop. The last thing we enjoyed was the Bob Dylan movie [ A Complete Unknown ]. I'd have thought that, as an actor, I would recognise great actors, but I've never particularly noticed Timothée Chalamet is the truth. He is stunning in it.
11.13pm
I turn to my wife and say, 'I'm thinking about going to bed,' and when we look at our watches, it is always 13 minutes past 11. In the middle of the night, I get up, go to my study and write down notes or plot ideas – 'his sister kills him', 'buy choc ices', 'get a new razor'…

Discussing the circumstances, she explained: "A baby takes up a lot of room, there just wouldn't have been room in my mum and dad's house for us all. "Last night, he woke up every two hours...I don't think anything prepares you for having your own, I didn't expect this to be me. Connor went back to work today and it is harder, you've got to do everything yourself. "It is a lot harder living on your own. At home you've got your parents and your siblings to help, whereas when you're at your own place you've got to do it on your own. I wasn't prepared for any of that - the loneliness." Katie is a mum of one Katie confessed that she especially misses her mum and dad and feels quite isolated. Later in the episode, Katie expresses how she misses the hustle and bustle of living at home with her numerous siblings. The young mum has been visiting her family home most days, but her mother Sue felt the need to administer some "tough love". She stated: "She was coming round every single day, 8:30am and then not going back until 6pm - I think she was missing everybody." She further added: "Katie coming round to the house every day is not really gonna help her settle into being in the flat on her own. Trying to help her, there's got to be a bit of tough love there." A clip shows Katie out for a walk with Ronnie as she says: "My mum's text - said I can't come round very strange." She elaborates: "Memories like Ronnie's first smile or his first giggle, I'd like to share the moments with all my family, they're missing out on that. Some days I do regret moving from home." Peter Andre has opened up about an exciting new TV role in a Channel 5 'cozy crime drama' coming to Channel 5 next month - following a mixed reaction from his action comedy flick Jafaican Peter Andre has opened up this week about his exciting new TV drama role in what he describes as a 'cozy crime' drama, as he reveals its connection to his Greek Cypriot father. The 90s pop icon is set to star in a brand-new Channel 5 crime drama set in Athens - playing the part of a Greek pathologist. He explained: "I'm very excited that the cozy crime drama I filmed, Sunshine Murders, is coming to Channel 5 and Paramount+ next month. When I auditioned, it was only for one episode. "They asked me to do it in my normal accent, but I thought I'd also do it in a Greek accent - how my dad speaks, basically! - as I was playing George, a Greek pathologist in Athens." It comes after Katie Price worries fans with appearance in family photo after explaining weight loss. Opening up about the audition process, he added in his OK! column: "I was nervous as I hadn't heard anything for a while but when they got back to me, not only did they love the Greek accent, they then decided I'd become one of the key characters - now I'm in every episode! "It was great working with Stephanie Beecham and Nick Moran; they're great actors. It was a beautiful experience. Anyone watching that knows my dad will be like, 'Wow, Peter sounds just like him!'" It comes after the singing star, 52, came under fire in certain quarters for his recent film Jafaican, a British comedy-drama, where he plays Gazza, a small-time crook who must learn about Jamaican culture to pull off a con, undergoing a transformation complete with full dreadlocks to embody the role. The film, while many fans loved it, faced some backlash due to its portrayal of Jamaican culture and his character, something Peter said he was 'shocked' by - but he responded defiantly to the criticism, and said he is already working on a sequel. Speaking to This Morning hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary, he confessed: "I think what I found strange is that we took a process of nearly three years from starting this to finishing, and we sat with legends like (Jamaican comedian and actor) Oliver Samuels, doing the read over, doing the script and actually filming it. "And when we went to Judgement Yard, which is where Sizzla Kalonji, reggae icon, lives, and we were invited in there to do this film. The whole process, if there was any point where any one of them said to us, this is not right, don't it..." The Mysterious Girl singer added: "That's why we were a bit shocked, because we had all the approval from everyone all the way along, and we laughed, and we did take after take, because we were all laughing when we were doing it." Speaking of his own heritage, Peter added: "I'm Greek. I've said this before, when I see films where they play the stereotypical Greek with the hairy chest and the medallion and the big nose, and they do the accent. "I find that hilarious. I find it offensive if someone's saying really horrible things about your culture. And so I was a little bit confused, but I understand."

Noel, however, seems to have a different perspective as he quipped: "I'll be opening the door to let them out and you'll be there trying to shut the door to keep them back." Sue and Noel Radford's son Daniel has plans of moving to Australia Out of their brood, only five have flown the coop so far, including Katie, and with Daniel on the cusp of leaving, he's not alone; two of his siblings have also declared their intentions to move out. Noel elaborated: "The kids are still at home, all the old ones because it's easy. The cooking is done, the cleaning is done, the washing is done. It's 24 hour care." Sue, on the other hand, understands why they stay, saying: "I do feel like they are still here because they just genuinely do love having all their siblings around and having a big family." During a family BBQ, Chloe opened up about the difficulty of parting from the family: "I missed home when I was in Plymouth, I guess there are a lot of people to miss."
