BLACKPINK Rosé To Bring Rosie Pop-Up Store Experience To KL This Month

BLACKPINK Rosé To Bring Rosie Pop-Up Store Experience To KL This Month

Hype Malaysiaa day ago

As many will know, BLACKPINK are set to embark on their DEADLINE world tour later this year, with each stop on the Asia leg featuring two- or three-day performances. Unfortunately, Malaysia has not yet been included in the list of tour dates. However, fans remain hopeful that the country may be added at a later stage, possibly in 2026.
While we wait for the good news, there is something BLINKs can look forward to later this month. It has been confirmed recently that one of the girls will be bringing her official pop-up store to Kuala Lumpur! Here's what we know:
BLACKPINK's main vocalist, Park Chae-young (박채영), also known as Rosé (로제), has announced that she will soon be bringing her 'Rosie Pop-Up Store Experience' to The Exchange TRX. This particular pop-up store has travelled to various locations around the world, including South Korea and Hong Kong, as part of the promotional campaign for Rosé's debut solo album, 'Rosie'.
The Kuala Lumpur edition will feature exclusive merchandise from the release, incorporating motifs from tracks such as 'A.P.T' and 'Number One Girl'. That's not all—fans can also look forward to special 'gift with purchase' photocards and 'spin to win' prizes to take home. Details of the limited-time store are as follows:
Rosie Pop-Up Store Experience
Date: 17th (Tuesday) – 29th (Sunday) June 2025
17th (Tuesday) – 29th (Sunday) June 2025 Time: 10am – 10pm
10am – 10pm Location: The Exchange TRX, Kuala Lumpur
Rosé is currently occupied with BLACKPINK's comeback and preparations for the upcoming tour, so it's unlikely she will be present for the store's launch. However, that doesn't mean fans should miss the chance to visit the Rosie Pop-Up at The Exchange TRX. Be sure to clear your schedule and set aside some spending money, because if BLACKPINK includes Malaysia in the DEADLINE tour, you'll want to have something special on hand for the main vocalist to sign!

Ryan Lian ate food used for praying when he was hungry while roaming the streets

Photo: Ryan Lian/Instagram Singaporean actor Ryan Lian (pic) is determined to overcome his depression after experiencing the ups and downs of life in recent months. Disclosing on social media on June 10 that he has roamed the streets in the last four months, he wrote: 'I ate the steamed cakes used by people for praying when I was very hungry, and wore the clothes given by passers-by when I was caught in the rain.' The 39-year-old wrote that it was around the time when his grandmother died. 'I said to my grandmother's body that I have to treat my illness and make a name for myself,' he wrote in Chinese. 'I will do good deeds in her name when I become successful one day.' Lian was in the news when he was arrested in September 2024 under the mental health act. He was caught on video allegedly tampering with the digital door lock of an HDB flat. The actor previously opened up to Shin Min Daily News in 2022 about his three-year struggle with depression. He told the Chinese-language newspaper in October 2024 that he spent five days at the Institute of Mental Health after he was arrested the previous month. He was injured in a slashing attack outside Nex mall in Serangoon in November 2024, when he was reportedly slashed three times on the face. Lian, who has starred in movies such as Take 2 (2017) and King Of Hawkers (2024), thanked the passers-by and friends who have helped him recently. 'I have gone through the tough days, so I will help the elderly and needy children when I have the ability in the future,' he wrote. 'Singapore is wealthy, but there are still poor families struggling to make ends meet.' – The Straits Times/Asia News Network Those contemplating suicide can reach out to the Mental Health Psychosocial Support Service (03-2935 9935 / 014-322 3392); Talian Kasih (15999 / 019-261 5999 on WhatsApp); Jakim's family, social and community care centre (011-1959 8214 on WhatsApp); or Befrienders Kuala Lumpur (03-7627 2929 /email sam@ centres in malaysia).

Rare Life-Size Mint Green Labubu Sold For Over RM700k In Recent Auction

We already know that Labubu dolls are highly sought after and can cost a pretty penny – how much are you willing to pay for a rare piece? Recently, a rare first-generation Labubu figure was sold at a Shanghai auction, garnering attention for its jaw-dropping price. On 11th June 2025 (Wednesday), a mint-green Labubu figure was sold at the Yongle 2025 Spring Auction for an astonishing 1.08 million yuan (approximately RM634,400). However, the winning buyer was required to pay another 15% commission on top of the hammer price, bringing the total cost of the auction to approximately 1.242 million yuan (approximately RM729,600). The piece was highlighted as 'one of a kind' and is said to be the world's only mint-green Labubu. The figure stands at 131cm and is made of PVC. It was sold at the auction alongside 47 other Labubu collectable items. Another rare figure sold at the auction was a limited-edition brown Labubu for 820,000 yuan (approximately RM481,700). The total value of the sale for the auction was 3.73 million yuan (approximately RM2.2 million). The winning bidder of the rare mint-green Labubu wasn't disclosed. Reports suggest that the buyer is a prominent collector of first-generation Labubu pieces, as are the other buyers in the auction. However, it's unsurprising that the auction raised such an astonishing figure, because many fans are dedicated to collecting these trendy figurines and would pay inflated prices to get the toy. Labubu and its accompanying 'Monsters' line were created a decade ago by Hong Kong designer Kasing Lung. BLACKPINK's Lisa's love for the doll helped catapult its popularity in the last two years. The Thai idol sparked a trend in Southeast and East Asia, with many rushing to get their own Labubu to match the star. Labubu and the 'Monsters' line is now POPMART's best-selling series, raking billions in sales for the toy company. It appears the Labubu craze won't die anytime soon, but what are your thoughts on this? Would you pay RM700,000 for a rare Labubu? Former HK artiste Don Li quits showbiz, clarifies rumours about becoming a monk

Former Hong Kong singer-actor Don Li clarified that his time as a monk was only temporary. Photos: Don Li/Instagram Former Hong Kong singer-actor Don Li has announced his exit from the entertainment industry. In a recent TikTok video, Li, 43, said he hasn't pursued singing professionally for several years and only posts covers of old songs occasionally on the platform. He also took to Instagram to share more about his decision to step away from the spotlight, adding that he's currently working hard to be the best version of himself. 'I hope that my life journey will be quiet. I want to concentrate on work, spend more time with my family, connect with like-minded friends and travel. That's enough for me,' he wrote. Li also addressed the rumours about him becoming a monk, which surfaced earlier in February after he posted photos of himself sporting a shaved head, dressed in monastic robes. The Port Of Call (2015) star clarified that his time as a monk was only temporary instead of a lifelong commitment. 'It's a solemn and serious ritual, so I won't explain too much. Life's journey is divided into many stages, and I currently like myself the most at this stage,' he wrote. Li kickstarted his entertainment career in 2003 after emerging as a finalist in a talent show. He teamed up with singer Mandy Chiang to form a duet act in 2005, but the pair parted ways in 2007 to pursue their music careers as solo artistes.
