According to Ryan Roberts of AtoZ Sports, the Kansas City Chiefs had a "formal meeting" with Texas OL Cameron Williams this week at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The Chiefs could have more interest in selecting another player from Texas in the first round of next month's NFL Draft. A year after selecting Xavier Worthy, Brett Veach, and the Kansas City brass at the combine, they met with Williams about being a possible addition to the offensive line.
He started 16 of 37 played games for the Longhorns. In 2024, He was also a finalist for the Joe Moore Award presented to the nation's top offensive lineman.
At 6-foot-5, 335 pounds, Williams decided to leave Texas after his junior year. According to ESPN Research, he took all his 938 snaps in his last season at right tackle, allowing a pressure rate of just 2.6% in 533 pass block plays.
