Matt LaFleur: Christian Watson is progressing, but his rehab will take some time
Packers receiver Christian Watson was at the team's mandatory minicamp, going through his rehab work while his teammates practiced. Coach Matt LaFleur was asked whether seeing Watson move like he is moving could mean an earlier return for Watson. 'Probably not, to be honest,' LaFleur said, via Wendell Ferreira of AtoZ Sports. 'The guys that are available, that's who you coach, and that's kind of where you focus. It is exciting to see how far along he is. He's been doing a great job. He attacks it the right way. Our trainers have done an outstanding job with him. I think he's in the best spot possible considering the circumstance.' Watson tore an ACL in Week 18 of the 2024 season, forcing him to miss not only the playoffs but also part of the 2025 season. Watson's father, Tazim Wajid Wajed, said during the offseason that Watson is expected back around Week 12. 'He will give us a boost whenever that is,' LaFleur said. 'Whenever he comes back, I expect him to give us a boost.' Watson, who is entering the final year of his rookie contract, made 29 catches for 620 yards and two touchdowns last season.

Titans' Mike Borgonzi talks Senior Bowl and the 'Cabinet'
The new Tennessee Titans front office has descended on Mobile, Alabama and the Senior Bowl to meet with some of the top prospects in the 2025 NFL draft. While the braintrust was sighted on the sidelines and on the field during drills, reporters caught up with new general manager Mike Borgonzi and posed some interesting questions about the game and the environment. The @seniorbowl is important for the Titans draft process for two key reasons, via new GM Mike Borgonzi: – interviews – competition — AtoZ Sports Nashville (@AtoZSports) January 28, 2025 'A big part of it is the interview process, which we started last night,' he said. 'Looking for guys to compete, and going against best of the best out there,' The Senior Bowl is a tremendous event and will give the Titans exposure to a bunch of prospects that could end up on their draft board. For a team that needs to retool its roster, this is extremely important. With a new front office in place, there were also questions about the structure and the number of voices that would be involved with decision-making. Titans GM Mike Borgonzi talks about how many cooks the Titans have in the kitchen — AtoZ Sports Nashville (@AtoZSports) January 28, 2025 'Different ideas, we don't all think alike. We come from different backgrounds, but we all speak the same language.' He said, 'The more smart people we can get in here with good ideas, the better.' On top of Borgonzi, head coach Brian Callahan, and president Chad Brinker, the Titans just brought in experienced personnel men Dave Ziegler and Reggie McKenzie for different roles. If they can utilize this influx of experience in the right way, the Titans are poised to improve from their 3-14 season rather quickly.
