Doja Cat claims 'crazy' fan kissed and touched her without permission during viral encounter
has accused a fan of touching her without permission during a recent encounter outside an event.
The moment went viral on TikTok after the fan, Pablo Tamayo, posted a video showing himself excitedly interacting with the singer outside a venue.
'I'm about to give Doja Cat my shirt, cause she's the iconic girl,' Pablo says in the video before taking off his shirt and handing it to her.
He then hugs her as she wraps a leg around his waist, and places his hands on her shoulders while they continue talking.
Pablo captioned the clip: 'When Doja Cat likes your shirt, you give her your shirt. Love you Doja Cat.'
Doja Cat has since addressed the incident in a since-deleted tweet, writing: 'Bottom line is I'll smile at you but it doesn't mean I f*** with you and don't touch me and man-handle me when you don't even f***ing know me.'
She added: 'I honestly think I need to stand up for myself in the moment sometimes. And he didn't even know my f***ing name to be touching me and kissing me on my face like that is crazy.'
'I threw that musty a** shirt away btw.'
In follow-up posts, Doja responded to fans' questions, writing: 'He did [smell good] but I don't like how comfortable he was touching me and kissing me without asking permission.'
When someone asked why she seemed to enjoy the interaction, she replied: 'I was very drunk, I don't know what to tell you.'
DailyMail.com has reached out to representatives of Doja Cat for comment.
Fans were quick to weigh in on social media about her reaction to the video.
One wrote: 'Doja hates her fans,' while another said: 'She's villainizing you for her not being able to enforce her boundaries.'
Others were more sympathetic to the fan's perspective.
One said: 'Imagine meeting your favorite artist, then logging on to social media to see her talking s*** about you and being musty. I would be embarrassed.'
Still, some came to Doja's defense.
One fan wrote: 'I don't think nothing what she is feeling is wrong at all, she was just playing it cool on camera and knowing how people switch stories. She sure is a good actor because I thought this was a cute fan moment.
'I think it's such a big misunderstanding, she's very valid for feeling violated and he thought it was all good vibes and his intentions seem pure fan love.
'I hope they talk and resolve this, I don't see no wrong sides. Just miscommunication. Don't send hate to neither.'
The viral fan, Pablo, also responded to the backlash with a follow-up TikTok addressing the controversy.
He said: 'I just wanna clear this up because it hurts. I love her. I just think it's crazy because she's the one at this event that's being so nice. She pointed out my shirt and said, "I like that".'
He explained that she asked for the shirt after learning it was from his new Pride collection.
Pablo went on: 'Now, she's on X saying she threw that musty shirt away' that I didn't know her name, that I manhandled her. I understand, guys, if I was being too nice or whatever. I will take full accountability.
'I'm gay! I would never want to make her feel uncomfortable, she's so iconic, I've only been saying the nicest things about her.'
Pablo continued by saying he 'would have never wanted to make her uncomfortable,' and added that he wouldn't have shared the video if she hadn't said yes.
He said: 'I apologize if I did anything wrong at all, but guys, I'm a human being too, but maybe this just shows that not everybody's who they say they are in person.'
In a cheeky move, Pablo is now selling a vest with the phrase 'Musty a** shirt' printed on it.
He promoted the new merch in a TikTok captioned: 'She wants to promote her album, I'll promote my clothes.'
One fan chimed in after the shirt went up for sale: 'It's getting even more messy.'

Incredible moment Pope Leo joins in with MLB chants while greeting Vatican visitors
Pope Leo XIV still holds close ties to his homegrown roots in the city of Chicago where he was born and raised. One of the ways he does this is through his love of the MLB's Chicago White Sox. Leo XIV has been holding the office as supreme pontiff of the Roman Catholic Church for only a few months now, but he still remains supportive of the South Siders amidst their struggles. In a recent video taken from what appears to be St. Peter's Square, Leo XIV was seen greeting devout believers who gathered in the plaza. One group of people - those recording the video - began to start chanting 'White Sox, White Sox' as the Pope came driving by. As Leo XIV passed the chanting group, he joined in - with the Pope returning the chants. The Pope - born Robert Prevost - retains close ties to the White Sox as well as his alma mater, Villanova University. Pope Leo joined in on the White Sox chants 😂🗣️ He got HYPED at the end 👏 (via clashroyal3/TT) — Bleacher Report (@BleacherReport) June 19, 2025 Last week, Pope Leo donned a White Sox hat as he greeted Vatican visitors, including a pair of newlyweds. It's unclear if the man and woman were from Chicago or how the hat materialized, but the struggling White Sox were all too happy to post some of the images online anyway. '.@Pontifex representing his favorite squad,' read the White Sox post. Fans from the Midwestern metropolis remain stunned to see a White Sox fan in the Vatican. 'Even 3 months ago, you could've given me 1,000,000 to 1 odds and I never would've taken a bet that THE POPE WEARING A WHITE SOX HAT would happen,' one wrote on X. 'As a Chicago area native I could never have imagined a Chicago Pope,' another added. One fan remained so skeptical of the Pope's White Sox allegiance they asked X's AI tool: '@grok is this real?' Grok then confirmed the authenticity of the photos. Despite their favored status at the Vatican, the White Sox are in the midst of another disappointing season. Not only are they 23.5 games out of first in the American League Central at 23-50 entering Thursday, but the team's leading hitter is Miguel Vargas at just .242. Luis Robert Jr., the team's star centerfielder and most recognizable player, is batting just .190. Pope Leo's fandom has been a rare bright spot for the South Siders, who recently unveiled a tribute to their Holiest fan as the White Sox were on their way to a third-place finish. Now, in section 140, Row 19, and Seat 2 at Rate Field on Chicago's South Side, fans can find a graphic installation marking Pope Leo's seat for Game 1 of the 2005 World Series. Chicago would go on to win its first MLB crown since 1917 that year. Footage from the game — Chicago's 5-3 win over the visiting NL-champion Houston Astros — shows a younger Pope Leo in the crowd during his time as prior for the Order of Saint Augustine. There had been some erroneous reporting after he was named Pope that he was actually a Cubs fan, but his brother John Prevost has since put that myth to rest. 'He was never ever a Cubs fan, so I don't know where that came from,' Prevost told Chicago's WGN TV. 'He was always a Sox fan. Our mother was a Cubs fan. I don't know, maybe that clued in there and our dad was a Cardinals fan, so I don't know where all that came from. Footage has emerged of Pope Leo watching Chicago win Game 1 of the 2005 World Series 'And all the aunts, our mom's family was from the north side, so that's why they were Cubs fans.' The club is in the process of being sold to Justin Ishbia, the brother of Phoenix Suns owner Mat Ishbia. The team announced the deal last week. Ishbia will make capital infusions to the team as a limited partner in 2025 and 2026 in order to pay down existing club debt and support ongoing team operations. Under the agreement, White Sox owner Jerry Reinsdorf has the option to sell controlling interest to Ishbia from 2029 to 2033, after which Ishbia can obtain a majority stake.

GK Barry reveals reason I'm A Celeb cast no longer speak seven months after show – and Maura and Danny's drunken kiss
I'M A Celeb star GK Barry has split the tea on her relationship with her former campmates - and who she's still in contact with. Speaking on The Katie Price podcast, the GK told the former glamour model how the group has disintegrated - just seven months after forming a jungle bond. 5 5 TV star Katie inquired if she still communicated with her 2024 camp buddies. The 47-year-old asked: 'Have you kept in contact, because this is another thing, when I've done Big Brother and all of that, you're like, Yeah, I'll stay in contact... "But you know the ones you'll stay in contact with and some you just know… in the beginning you text and then…' GK admitted: 'We had a group chat. It has died down slightly as you can imagine, it's died down." She added: 'But I still keep in contact with the Rev [ Richard Coles] - and Dean [McCullough] I still keep in contact with a little bit, but mainly the Rev and Melvin [Odoom]." The 25-year-old concluded: 'I keep in contact with Melvin quite a lot.' The internet personality entered the I'm A Celeb Jungle last year and quickly became a fan favourite and ended up placing fifth. Following her TV stint she went on to make multiple appearances on daytime TV show Loose Women. Back in April, the group was still active and radio star Dean lifted the lid on what went on in the cast's infamous WhatsApp thread. Before the group fell apart, he said: "No, no one's left. Everyone's in it. Everyone's chatting away. "I just love it because you'll just wake up one morning, and there'll just be a picture of Coleen [Rooney] on the school run with the kids, or Richard the other day sent us a picture of him at 10 o'clock in the morning in full fancy dress. "He was dressed as a nun. Everyone's in it, of course, and excited to meet up again." While love is in bloom for GK and her footballer girlfriend Ella Rutherford, McFly star Danny 's marriage to his wife Georgia has been rocked since appearing on the show. Singer Danny, 39, has been trying to move on from the fall out from his "drunken kiss" with Maura Higgins, 34, at the Brit Awards. The pair starred alongside GK in the 2024 series of I'm A Celeb. Wife and podcaster Georgia - who briefly moved out of the family home following the kiss scandal - was reportedly "furious" at the way the Star Girl singer had handled the aftermath of the scandal. A few of the campmates are set to be working together soon, which could make things very awkward for Maura and Danny. Georgia broke her silence on social media after three months on from the kiss and posted her first photo of her husband in a Father's Day tribute. 5 5 5
