Vanessa Bryant shuts down pregnancy rumors with Rihanna's help
Vanessa Bryant is setting the record straight on recent speculation that she is pregnant.
In response to the rumors, the widow of the late Kobe Bryant shared a meme on her Instagram stories of Rihanna floating in water while flipping off the camera, paired with the message, 'Me protecting my peace, not pregnant & having fun all summer.'
The mother of four also added another Rihanna meme that read, 'I'm not mean, I'm just not the one.'
It's unclear what sparked the false narrative, but as the online chatter snowballed, the 43-year-old was prompted to shut down the rumors.
But Bryant didn't let unfounded pregnancy rumors stop her from enjoying her weekend as she was spotted at Disneyland with her daughters Natalia, Bianka and Capri. In a video posted on Instagram, Bryant shared a slideshow of photos showing the family's time at the theme park, including a moment with some park goers wearing Kobe Bryant Lakers jerseys.
Bryant hasn't openly spoken about her love life since the death of her husband and their 13-year-old daughter Gigi in the tragic helicopter crash in 2020.

Billy Joel Health Update After Diagnosis—Howard Stern Shares How He's Doing

Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Howard Stern shared a health update on Billy Joel after the music icon canceled his upcoming performances following a brain condition diagnosis. During a recent episode of SiriusXM's The Howard Stern Show, host Stern said they recently met up and "he's doing fine." Newsweek reached out to Joel's representative via email for comment. The Context On May 23, Joel's team revealed he was diagnosed with normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH) and announced he would be canceling the remainder of his scheduled concert dates. According to the Cleveland Clinic, NPH "happens when cerebrospinal fluid builds up inside your skull and presses on your brain. This condition is most likely in people over 65. It's often treatable and sometimes even reversible. Treating this condition involves surgery to implant a shunt to drain excess fluid from the inside of your skull." Joel's statement, shared via Instagram, read: "This condition has been exacerbated by recent concert performances, leading to problems with hearing, vision, and balance. Under his doctor's instructions, Billy is undergoing specific physical therapy and has been advised to refrain from performing during this recovery period." "Billy is thankful for the excellent care he is receiving and is fully committed to prioritizing his health," the statement continued. "He is grateful for the support from fans during this time and looks forward to the day when he can once again take the stage." The news came after the 76-year-old sparked concern following a fall during a concert in February. Howard Stern (L) poses for a photo with Billy Joel on SiriusXM/Howard Stern on February 14, 2024. He wants people to know that. He just, he's got to deal with some medical stuff, but he was delightful." Stern said that they "had a great time with the wives," referring to his wife, Beth Stern, and Joel's wife, Alexis Roderick. "We had a great conversation. I was telling him I'm enjoying playing classical music on the guitar." "I'm sure that made him happy," Quivers shared. "It did. He lit up because that's what he's into," Stern said. The broadcaster added that he "even brought out the guitar" as they celebrated the "Piano Man" artist's birthday, which was on May 9. "He threw up," Stern joked about his guitar skills. The British singer, 37, discussed her diagnosis and treatment in a video she shared on Instagram Tuesday. "Before 'No Secrets' came out (on April 25), I was diagnosed with early breast cancer," she shared. "I'm highlighting the word early. Cancer sucks in any form but I'm holding onto the word early. I have been in and out of tests throughout this whole period. I just wanted to be open and share it. One, because selfishly, I do not talk about it enough. I'm not processing it because I'm working so hard." "I also know how much sharing in the past has helped me with other people giving me their love and support and also their own stories," she added. "I'm an open book. It breaks my heart that so many people are going through so much, similar and worse -- that's the bit that kills me.... It's a very dramatic way to get a boob job." Jessie J said her surgery will take place after Summertime Ball, which is described as "the U.K.'s biggest summer party." She added she will "disappear for a bit" during that time. That performance is set for June 15. Singer Rita Ora was among those who left messages of support in the comments. "You're literally my favorite person and I'm praying for you," she said. "You've got this. My mother had it and I know the surgery and any treatment on this matter is mentally tough so I'm here for you."
