
Egypt: Gadwa's consolidated profits surge 44.43% YoY in 2024
Arab Finance: Gadwa for Industrial Development's consolidated net profits attributable to the parent company increased by 44.437% to EGP 1.444 billion in 2024 from EGP 1 billion in 2023, the financial results showed.
Earnings per share (EPS) jumped to EGP 1.09 last year from EGP 0.95 in 2023, while the operating revenues hiked to EGP 19.054 billion from EGP 12.246 billion.
As for the standalone business, net profits after tax amounted to EGP 1.056 billion at the end of December 2024, an annual rise from EGP 819.563 million.
Non-consolidated revenues jumped to EGP 1.102 billion in 2024 from EGP 821.165 million in 2023, whereas the EPS climbed to EGP 0.90 from EGP 0.78.
Established in 2021, Gadwa is a Cairo-based company that operates within investments in the industrial sector.

He emphasized the significance of this step, noting that Egypt plans to announce the first batch of airports to be offered for private management before the end of the year. This marks the first time Egyptian airports will be operated by experienced private-sector entities with proven global track records. Madbouly called for the swift announcement of the full plan to offer airport management contracts to accelerate the selection process for qualified companies. For his part, Diop thanked Madbouly for his support and commended the role of the Ministry of Planning in facilitating IFC's activities in Egypt. Diop announced that the strategy for offering Egyptian airports for private management will be revealed soon, after which tendering procedures will begin, starting with the selection of a specialized company to manage and operate Hurghada Airport. He also expressed interest in expanding cooperation with the Egyptian government across additional sectors, including tourism, specifically medical, beach, and cultural tourism. Gold prices in Egypt hike on Sunday
Arab Finance: The gold prices in Egypt recorded a collective surge on Sunday, with the 24-karat hitting EGP 5,600 per gram for purchasing and EGP 5,628.5 for selling, iSagha's data showed. The 22-karat gold price climbed to EGP 5,133.25 for buying and EGP 5,159.5 per gram for selling. Likewise, the 21-karat gold jumped to EGP 4,900 per gram for purchasing and EGP 4,925 for selling. Arab Finance: El Ahram for Printing and Packing net losses posted 23.05% year on year (YoY) lower net losses after tax at EGP 4.360 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2025, versus EGP 5.667 million, according to the financial results.
