Hashira's fall is the moment where the movie – Akaza's Return – commences.
The much-awaited Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle movie Part 1 has been making waves around the world. The official film titled Akaza's Return has taken Taiwan by storm after the theatrical release in the country on August 8.
However, the film has not yet announced any release dates in India, and while Indian fans are awaiting to watch the highly anticipated film, let's revisit the iconic moment where it all began.
Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc Marks the beginning of the end
The Hashira Training Arc that started with Inosuke being goofy around Tanjiro and Zenitsu being awkward around Nezuko ended on a dark note. As they all got ready to take on the lead antagonist, Muzan, Nezuko got locked up and in protection far away from Muzan.
What Is Infinity Castle?
Once all the Hashira were nearly ready, Muzan entered the castle and was ready for action, while Ubuyashiki, who served as the master for the Hashira for decades, was on the verge of death. After learning how their master and his family sacrificed their lives, all the Hashira were seen getting into action to capture Muzan. However, Muzan was hiding his prized possession, Nakime. (She is the Upper Rank 4 demon who can open up a portal from anywhere in the world). When the Hashira were just about to attack Muzan, the portal opened up, and all of them were transported into the Infinity Castle. Their fall is the moment where the movie – Akaza's Return – commences.
Important Fights in Akaza's Return
Akaza's Return shows three main fights, including Zenitsu and Kaigaku, Shinobu and Douma, and Giyu Tomioka and Akaza. Zenitsu and Kaigaku's fight is one of the highly anticipated ones, as through their fight the makers reveal a history. Although Shinobu and Douma share a dark past too, it did not match the anticipation of the fight between Giyu Tomioka and Akaza.
The latest instalment also features Tanjiro, who finally gets an opportunity to avenge Rengoku's death, which he has been trying since the Mugen episode. With such intense fights and much-awaited plot developments, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle has been making headlines all over the world.
Directed by Haruo Sotozaki, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle's release date was pushed in India. The latest instalment of the Demon Slayer franchise will now hit the theatres on September 12.

Deepika Padukone steps back from acting role in ‘The Intern' remake to focus on producing: Report

Bollywood star Deepika Padukone has decided to step away from acting in the Indian remake of 'The Intern', choosing instead to focus solely on her role as a producer. According to a report by Mid-Day, a source close to the project shared that Padukone will no longer play the female lead in the film. 'This time, Deepika will step away from acting in the film to serve solely as a producer, overseeing the creative and logistical reboot. A new leading lady is being cast to play the part she was once slated to perform,' the source said. Padukone, who has previously co-produced films under her banner KA Productions, is reportedly using this opportunity to widen her creative role in filmmaking. ''The Intern' is the first of five projects she plans to mount in the coming year. She is looking to tell stories that are globally relevant,' the source added. The Intern, a remake of the 2015 Hollywood film starring Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro, was first announced in 2020. Deepika was to play the role made famous by Hathaway, while the late Rishi Kapoor had been cast in De Niro's role. Following Kapoor's passing, Amitabh Bachchan joined the project as the senior intern. Despite the strong buzz, the film has seen several delays. The Covid-19 pandemic, Padukone's maternity break, and scheduling issues have pushed the project back multiple times.

THIS actress was the highest-paid actor in India, earned more than Shah Rukh Khan; Rajinikanth wanted to marry her

India's highest-paid actress is Priyanka Chopra, earning around ₹ 30 crore per film. In contrast, actor Allu Arjun is the highest-paid actor in India, taking home a whopping ₹ 300 crore for Pushpa 2: The Rule. The vast gap between these figures speaks volumes about the gender pay disparity in the industry — a stark contrast to an era when this actress was the highest-paid star in India, even earning more than Shah Rukh Khan, Salman, Chiranjeevi, Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth. In fact, she was so admired that even Rajinikanth once wanted to propose to her. The actress was none other than the late Sridevi. Back in the 90s, Sridevi, often called one of India's first lady superstar, made history by becoming the first female actor to demand ₹ 1 crore for a film. She reportedly charged this amount for the 1993 release Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja. The film was among the most expensive Indian movies of its time. Back then, the only actor charging more per film was Chiranjeevi. However, Sridevi quickly raised her fees, and by the mid-90s, even as Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan entered the ₹ 1-crore club, it is believed that Sridevi was commanding a higher paycheck than both of them. Even youngsters of the industry, including Shah Rukh, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Sunny Deol and Sanjay Dutt, were not earning close to Sridevi's fees. As per a report of Hindustan Times, they earned within the range of ₹ 50-75 lakh from 1992 to 97. The Khans entered the ₹ 1 crore club only after Sridevi quit films in the late 90s. Sridevi's unmatched versatility and pan-India stardom made her a top name across the Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu film industries. One of the few actresses who could carry films like Chandni, Gumraah, Army, and Laadla on her own, she often landed stronger roles than her peers and even charged more than many male co-stars of the time. Rajinikanth, who worked with Sridevi in Ranuva Veeran, Pokkiri Raja, and Chaalbaaz, was smitten by her. According to filmmaker K. Balachander, Balachander, Rajinikanth once went to propose to Sridevi at her house. However, just as Rajinikanth arrived, a sudden power outage took place at Sridevi's house. Rajinikanth, who is said to be superstitious, took it as a bad omen and left without conveying his feelings. It is said that he never shared his feelings with her again. Sridevi left films at the peak of her career when she got pregnant with her first child, Janhvi Kapoor, with Boney Kapoor. After the 1997 film, Judaai, she remained absent from films for nearly 15 years as she raised her daughter, Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor. The actor later made a brief comeback with the television show Malini Iyer in 2004-05. Her big-screen comeback came in 2012 with English Vinglish. She starred in films like Puli (2015) and Mom (2017) before her unfortunate death due to accidental drowning in 2018.
