Tanishk Bagchi
asked him to leave the recording room.
Talking about working with debut singers, Faheem Abdullah and Arslan Nizami from Kashmir, Suri said, 'The recording and jamming sessions used to be very serious till the time I was there.
After that, what did they do? I don't know. They asked me to leave the recording session. Then I just realised the fun part started after that".
The director remembered that while they were all in the room, Tanishk looked at him and said, 'Sir, please leave now.'
Mohit laughed and said, 'He practically told me to get out.' He went on to explain that Tanishk knew the singers were trying to impress him without giving their best. Though strict with them, Tanishk was also protecting the singers and helping them improve.
Mohit added, 'All throughout he was like, 'No, no, no. sir, let them dub in their hometown only because they are in their comfort zone. Or else they will get scared'. That was such a sweet thing. He was like a father who was holding and protecting them. I am not very interfering but a very curious director who wants to be everywhere. I was told to get out by Tanishk".
'He is a musical genius. He knows how to do it the best. And the one thing I know is in music, it's the idea that's the genius", he concluded.
The film 'Saiyaara' will hit theatres on July 18, 2025.

'Housefull 5' box office collection day 4 (LIVE): The Akshay Kumar starrer expected to cross Rs 100 crore on Monday if it remains steady
Housefull 5 released in theatres on June 6, Friday, and had a good opening. The film saw further growth over the weekend, especially on Sunday. The movie has been getting mixed reviews, people are flocking to the theatres as it's a popular franchise and a big comedy in cinemas after a while. The film stars Akshay Kumar , Riteish Deshmukh , Abhishek Bachchan , Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Jacqueline Fernandez , Sonam Bajwa, Chitrangda Singh, Nargis Fakhri, Shreyas Talpade, Fardeen Khan among many others. Housefull 5 Movie Review On Day 1, 'Housefull 5' had an opening of Rs 24 crore. It saw a growth of around 29 percent on day 2 and made Rs 31 crore, according to Sacnilk. On Sunday, there was further jump and the film made Rs 32.5 crore. On day 4, which is Monday, the film seems to have started on a decent note in the morning shows and has made Rs 1.78 crore so far. Ofcourse, it's expected that the Monday numbers will be less than the Sunday numbers. But even if the movie manages to make around Rs 12-13 crore on Monday, it may cross the Rs 100 crore mark. As per reports, it's India's most expensive comedy film with a budget of around Rs 225 crore. Thus, it will have to continue doing well over this full week and the second weekend in order to meet expectations. But so far, it's a great start for the franchise. 100 Days and Agni Sakshi director Partho Ghosh succumbs to heart attack at the age of 75
Trigger Warning: This article contains mention of an individual's death. In a shocking loss for the film industry, filmmaker Partho Ghosh passed away on June 9. Known for directing various iconic films in Indian cinema, the veteran filmmaker breathed his last at the age of 75. The cause of death is known to be a heart attack that he suffered on Monday morning. Partho lived in Madh Island, Mumbai, and is survived by his wife, Gouri Ghosh. According to India Today, actress Rituparna Sengupta confirmed the news of his demise. Born in Kolkata on June 8, 1949, Partho's childhood was marked by a deep passion for literature, art, and music. His love for art and cinema led him to the film industry, and in 1985, Partho Ghosh began his journey as an assistant director in Bengali movies. After working for years, he gained much recognition owing to his hard work and talent. Following his transition to Hindi cinema, 100 Days emerged as a breakthrough in his career. Starring Madhuri Dixit and Jackie Shroff, the suspense thriller drama movie opened to positive reviews. Although it was a remake of a Tamil film titled Noorvathu Naal, it was well received by the audience. After 100 Days, Partho Ghosh directed Geet. It is yet another Hindi movie that gained him recognition and became one of the stepping stones in his career. Featuring Divya Bharti and Avinash Wadhawan, it hit the big screens in 1992. However, he redefined excellence by directing Mithun Chakraborty starrer Dalaal, released in 1993. Some of his other prominent works include Agni Sakshi, Teesra Kaun, and Ghulam-E-Musthafa, among others. Interestingly, Ghosh had experimented with different genres over the years. Throughout his career, he has directed over 15 movies spanning various genres, including suspense, thrillers, and psychological dramas. Partho Ghosh's last film is Mausam Ikrar Ke Do Pal Pyar Ke. The romantic drama starred Mukesh J Bharti, Madalsa Sharma, and Avinash Wadhawan in prominent roles.
