Wamiqa Gabbi is glad that she's learnt to say ‘no'
Wamiqa Gabbi, who will next be seen in the film 'Bhool Chuk Maaf', has talked about that one 'mistake' she made and is thankful for. The actress said it was learning to say 'no'. Asked if there is a 'Bhool Chuk' that she made and is thankful for, Wamiqa told: 'It's saying no.' The 31-year-old actress is now glad that she's getting comfortable with saying no, when needed. 'At that time it feels like such a mistake. Saying no at times feels like such a… It feels like I hope I am not doing something wrong by saying no. But that is something that I'm so glad that getting comfortable with saying no is such a nice thing.' The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan under the Maddock Films banner, with music by Tanishk Bagchi, lyrics by Irshad Kamil, and vocals by Tanishk Bagchi and Madhubanti Bagchi. Talking about 'Bhool Chuk Maaf', directed by Karan Sharma, the film revolves around Ranjan, a small-town romantic boy from Banaras, who lands a government job to marry Titli but forgets his vow to Lord Shiva-only to be trapped until he fulfills his promise. A hilarious tale of love, fate, and redemption unfolds. Director Karan Sharma started his journey from Delhi and stepped into Mumbai in 2005. His short film christened Black Holi is internationally acclaimed as a best narrative short film. The film was supposed to hit the screens on May 9, however the makers on May 8 announced that it would now release digitally on Prime Video on May 16, in 'light of recent events and the heightened security drills across the nation' after the Indian Air Force targeted the terrorists' sites without crossing the Pakistan airspace. However, the release of the film has now hit the pause button. The Bombay High Court granted an ad-interim injunction restraining Maddock Films from releasing Bhool Chuk Maaf on OTT platforms before completing its agreed-upon 8-week theatrical run with PVR Inox. PVR Inox, in its court plea, argued that the last-minute change was a breach of the contract signed between the parties on May 6, 2025. The agreement specified that the film must have an 8-week window before it can be released online.

Tanishk Bagchi recalls AR Rahman's reaction to his remix version of 'Humma Humma': 'Original track banane se zyada mushkil hota hai'
Music producer and composer Tanishk Bagchi recently shed light on his journey in the industry and shared his perspective on remixing songs. The musician, known for creating some of Bollywood's most celebrated remixes, spoke about how he feels regarding the label 'Remix King'. He recalled a moment when AR Rahman 's reaction to his 'Humma Humma' remix gave him hope in his talent. In a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, Bagchi reminisced about his first major hit, which was the remix of Humma Humma. When he listened to the popular track, he felt that it was no longer attracting new listeners, so he thought of giving it a fresh spin. Bhool Chuk Maaf | Song - Chor Bazari Phir Se He initially feared that taking on such an iconic number could either make or break his career. However, A.R. Rahman 's response reassured him that his creative instincts were indeed on the right path. 'Rahman Sir ne kaha yeh naya sound hai, bohot simple sound hai. Tab mujhe samajh mein aaya ki mere andar yeh quality hai. Main gaane ko bachaa sakta hoon, spoil hone se.' Addressing the misconception that remixes are merely about updating beats, Tanishk broke down his creative process. Using Tere Bin from Simmba as an example, he explained that his approach is rooted in originality. 'Har gaana jo maine kiya hai, woh scratch se shuru hota hai, starting from the bass. Remix karna, original track banane se zyada mushkil hota hai—yeh sochna ki usse kaise naye tareeke se banayein. Jaise Simmba mein bhi Tere Bin ka remix kiya. Toh bas hook purana tha, Tere Bin Nai Jeena, baaki sab naya tha,' he added. Bagchi described his work as a bridge between the older generation and the younger generation to help them experience music in a more meaningful way. He also spoke about how many people are now creating remixes of old songs and using them for Instagram reels. Tanishk Bagchi recently worked on Emraan Hashmi 's Ground Zero, where he composed music for two songs, 'So Lene De' and 'Lahoo'.

Tanishk Bagchi SLAMS Bollywood for hugely underpaying musicians: 'Even Ed Sheeran doesn't have the numbers I've clocked in...'
Composer, lyricist and singer recently reveals if artists benefit from the music they have created. He also drew comparisons between Ed Sheeran and him. Frustration Over Musicians' Lack of Recognition When asked whether musicians earn from the songs they create, Tanishk expressed frustration over how low composers rank in the industry's hierarchy in his chat with Bollywood Bubble. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now He explained that even when a song becomes a massive hit, credit usually goes to the singers like or , or sometimes to composers like or himself. However, the first recognition often goes to the actors featured in the video, as audiences typically associate songs with the visuals. He also pointed out that lyricists, in particular, are rarely acknowledged at all. Unrecognized Lyricists: , , and Tanishk Bagchi went on to highlight how even well-established lyricists like Sayeed Quadri and Kausar Munir often go unrecognized by the general public, despite having written some of Bollywood's most popular songs. He shared how, in conversations, many people are unaware of their work until he points out hit tracks like 'Tune Maari Entry,' 'Galliyan,' or 'Tera Ban Jaunga,' which were penned by these writers. He added that even someone as respected as Irshad Kamil faces this issue, noting that while lyricists may be content with their work, many remain unfamiliar with how to promote themselves or navigate publicity. PR Responsibilities Shouldn't Fall on Musicians Tanishk Bagchi further emphasized that veteran lyricist Irshad Kamil is only now starting to explore public relations, but ideally, he shouldn't have to—such responsibilities should fall on the production companies. He pointed out how musicians are rarely given proper visibility during a film's launch, and even in solo projects, names like his are often forgotten. What's more disheartening, he said, is that even a small credit for the lyricist doesn't find space on promotional posters. Despite feeling the system is unfair, he admitted that artists continue to work quietly, as speaking out could cost them the opportunities they already have. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now The Struggle for Recognition Despite Success He concluded by expressing his frustration that despite the hard work musicians put into creating songs for films, they don't receive the recognition they deserve. He explained how every time, they have to start over and rebuild their reputation from scratch. Reflecting on his own success, he pointed out that he's written so many songs with billions of views, surpassing even Ed Sheeran's numbers over the last five years. However, he questioned why, despite this success, he still hasn't achieved the level of recognition that global artists like Ed Sheeran have. The issue, he believes, lies in the lack of proper acknowledgment for musicians in the industry.
