According to The Seattle Times, the former three-time All-NBA forward allegedly fired at two individuals inside a Toyota 4Runner following a break-in involving his truck. Items taken included keys to his business, a cellphone, important documents, and sports memorabilia such as game-worn jerseys of Gary Payton and Kemp—gear that had been intended for a charity auction.
The former NBA star used a tracking feature on the stolen phone to locate the suspect driving the 4Runner.
Although most of the stolen items had been discarded, the phone was kept—mistakenly believed by the thief to be a drug scale. Kemp eventually tracked the vehicle down again, only to find a second individual inside.
According to reports, the second person unexpectedly opened fire on Kemp, prompting the confrontation.
Kemp is now due back for sentencing in late August.
Kemp is a former No. 17 overall pick in the 1989 NBA Draft by the Seattle Supersonics. In his career, the 55-year-old averaged 14.6 points per game, 8.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.2 blocks per game while shooting 48.8 percent from the field in 14 seasons and 1,051 games.
He spent his first eight years of his career with the Supersonics. Since then, he bounced around from the Cleveland Cavaliers for three seasons, the Portland Trail Blazers for two seasons, and spent the last season of his career with the Orlando Magic.

Moriah Mills reveals possible lawsuit plans against Zion Williamson

The post Moriah Mills reveals possible lawsuit plans against Zion Williamson appeared first on ClutchPoints. Moriah Mills might be taking legal action against Zion Williamson. According to TMZ, Mills has contacted trial lawyer Tony Buzbee, and he is currently 'evaluating her claims.' Buzbee has defended women going after legal action against male celebrities such as Jay-Z and, most recently, Shannon Sharpe. Mills' claims have not been made public, but she was allegedly in a secret relationship with Williamson back in 2023. That November, the NBA star welcomed his first baby with his girlfriend Ahkeema. The pair had a daughter named Azira. That's when Mills and Williamson's alleged relationship got exposed as she claimed they were intimate days before the athlete announced he was having a child with another woman. The social media personality did not speak about the lawsuit but told the outlet that there was a shift in Williamson that she did not expect. 'This is not the man that I met a few years back,' she told TMZ. 'This is not who I thought you would become. … I just hope you change your ways because your job and your family and your legacy is on the line.' In a TikTok video, Mills shares that she has been harassed online following speaking out about her prior relationship with Williamson. She also hinted on what the lawsuit could be about as she claims that she wants 'justice' for how she has been treated. 'It's causing me a lot of stress, emotional distress. I just hope that we all can come to justice and this all can be resolved and nobody has to relive all these things ever again,' she said. Mills' potential lawsuit follows a recent report that the Pelicans star has a lawsuit filed against him that is accusing him of rape and 'abusive, controlling, and threatening behavior.' Williamson has denied the allegations and claims that he and the woman had a 'consensual, casual relationship' that ended years ago and that 'at no point during or immediately after that relationship did the plaintiff raise any concerns.' 'While these allegations are false, we recognize the seriousness of the claims and welcome the opportunity to prove the truth in court. We are confident that the legal process will expose the truth and fully vindicate Mr. Williamson,' the attorneys said. The woman's attorney, Sam Taylor II, said they are going to be'very cautious about litigating this in the press.' 'This is a very serious case as reflected in the allegations in the complaint, which are pretty detailed,' Taylor said. Taylor adds that his client — who has been named Jane Doe in legal documents — is 'genuinely looks forward to her day in court when she can tell a jury of her peers what happened to her and seek justice.'

Adult Film Star Considering Lawsuit Against Zion Williamson After Recent Allegations Against Him Surface

An adult film star and influencer, Moriah Mills, is reportedly considering taking legal action against NBA star Zion Williamson, just days after Williamson was sued by another woman alleging he raped her in 2023. According to TMZ, Mills, who reportedly had a relationship with Williamson in 2023, contacted attorney Tony Buzbee about potentially filing a lawsuit against the New Orleans Pelicans player. Buzbee, a lawyer known for handling high-profile cases, including lawsuits against Jay-Z and, more recently, Shannon Sharpe, told the publication that Mills reached out to him about seeking legal action against Williamson "just hours" after another woman's lawsuit against the athlete became public. Details of Mills' potential lawsuit remain unclear; however, Buzbee said he's "evaluating her claims." When TMZ caught up with Mills in Los Angeles on May 30, she declined to comment on any potential legal action. She did, however, offer words of encouragement for Williamson. "I just hope you change your ways because your job and your family and your legacy is on the line," she said. Mills' comments aren't the first time the adult movie star has spoken about Williamson, 24. In 2023, Mills blasted the former Duke University player on X, formerly Twitter, after learning he was having a baby with another woman. According to Complex, Mills and Williamson had a "sneaky link" relationship; however, their feelings for each other developed into something more. Consequently, Mills said her heart was "broken and shattered" by the news of his child and called the baby a "deal breaker." She later mocked the basketball player on TikTok after he exited a game against the Los Angeles Lakers. "They don't play about me, like, that's all I'm gonna say," she said in the video. "Honestly, you'll never beat the GOAT, you're not the GOAT. You're not LeBron James. You'll never beat LeBron James. Goodnight." On May 30, news broke that a woman going by the pseudonym Jane Doe filed a shocking lawsuit against Williamson, claiming he repeatedly raped and assaulted her in September 2020. In the documents, the plaintiff alleged Williamson called her "stuck up" and a "b-tch" during an argument inside his Beverly Hills home. Doe then claimed Williamson told her she couldn't go to sleep "without having sex with him," which allegedly resulted in him forcibly pinning her down while sexually assaulting her. According to Doe, Williamson repeated his actions a month later after she expressed her desire to visit friends in San Diego. The legal documents further allege that after the assault, Williamson then took her phone and laptop, preventing her from contacting help. 'These two incidents were not isolated,' the lawsuit reads. 'Williamson continued to abuse, rape, assault, and batter Plaintiff in California and other states, including Louisiana and Texas, until the relationship ended in 2023.' In a statement, Williamson's attorney fired back at the allegations of sexual assault, calling them "categorically false and reckless." The lawyer continued, "We take these allegations with the utmost seriousness, and we unequivocally deny them. The allegations contained in the complaint are categorically false and reckless. This is the plaintiff's third set of attorneys. This appears to be an attempt to exploit a professional athlete driven by a financial motive rather than any legitimate grievance." Williamson's legal counsel also claimed the basketball player "never dated" Doe; however, the attorney admitted the pair had a "consensual, casual relationship that began more than six years ago when he was 18 years old." "That relationship ended years ago. At no point during or immediately after that relationship did the plaintiff raise any concerns. Only after the friendship ended did she begin demanding millions of dollars," the lawyer added. Elsewhere in the lawyer's statement, they revealed that Williamson reported the "plaintiff's extortion attempts to law enforcement" and that "an arrest warrant" was "issued in connection with that report." They also shared that Williamson plans to "file counterclaims and seek significant damages for this defamatory lawsuit." "While these allegations are false, we recognize the seriousness of the claims and welcome the opportunity to prove the truth in court. We are confident that the legal process will expose the truth and fully vindicate Mr. Williamson," the attorney said.

Zion Williamson accused of rape in bombshell lawsuit

Pelicans star Zion Williamson is being accused of rape by a woman claiming to be his ex-girlfriend. In a bombshell lawsuit filed Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court and obtained by The Post, the woman, identified as Jane Doe, alleges Williamson raped her twice in 2020. In one instance, Doe claimed Williamson, 24, arrived to the Beverly Hills home he purportedly rented while training during COVID on Nov. 23, 2020 and demanded sex. According to Doe, Williamson called her 'stuck up' and a 'bitch,' and when she refused to engage in sex, the 6-foot-6, 280-pound power forward 'pinned Plaintiff down on the bed with her hands behind her back and raped her.' Williamson is alleged to have taken her phone and choked her for 'talking too much' afterward. A second claim of rape occurred the following month, in which Doe spoke of potentially visiting a friend, leading Williamson to have allegedly 'picked her up, threw her down to the ground, and pinned her shoulders down so she could not move,' and then he reputedly 'violently raped Plaintiff in multiple ways.' She says he then took her phone and computer so she could not 'contact anyone to secure a ride elsewhere, report the assault, or seek medical care.' ESPN reported the accuser is seeking 'anywhere from $18 million to $50 million.' In a statement provided to The Post, Williamson denied the allegations through his legal reps. 'We take these allegations with the utmost seriousness, and we unequivocally deny them,' his reps said. 'The allegations contained in the complaint are categorically false and reckless. This is the plaintiff's third set of attorneys. This appears to be an attempt to exploit a professional athlete driven by a financial motive rather than any legitimate grievance.' Williamson acknowledged a consensual, casual relationship with Doe, and that she only began demanding 'millions of dollars' after their time together ended. He intends to file a counterclaim against Doe and will seek 'significant damages for this defamatory lawsuit.' 'While these allegations are false, we recognize the seriousness of the claims and welcome the opportunity to prove the truth in court,' his reps said. 'We are confident that the legal process will expose the truth and fully vindicate Mr. Williamson.' Doe's suit alleges a pattern of 'abusive, controlling, and threatening behavior toward Plaintiff' that also occurred in Louisiana and several other states. Williamson is also accused of threatening to have his security guard shoot Doe 'in the head while the security guard was present and carrying a loaded firearm multiple times in Louisiana between 2020 and 2023,' and 'threatening to have his paid security guard kill Plaintiff's parents, after informing Plaintiff that he knows their home address multiple times in Louisiana between 2020 and 2023.' 'Our client is very adamant about this — it's not her desire or our desire to litigate this case in the press,' Doe's attorney, Sam Taylor with the Lanier Law Firm, told The Post on Friday. 'It's a very serious case, as reflected in the allegations. Our client looks forward to her day in court where she can go and explain to a jury what happened to her, the things she endured for this defendant and getting justice.' Doe claims to have been in a 'dating relationship' with Williamson beginning around 2018 while he was a freshman at Duke, and the relationship continued through June 2023. Williamson went on to be the first overall pick by New Orleans in the 2019 NBA Draft. Despite an injury-marred start to his career, he made the All-Rookie team in 2020 and has twice been an All-Star in five seasons, all with the Pelicans. Williamson has made headlines over his personal life on a numerous occasions. In April, Williamson was dragged into a home invasion incident involving the mother of his child, Ahkeema Love, 31, who was arrested for attacking a romantic rival. Love was charged with home invasion, aggravated battery and stalking after she broke into an unidentified woman's residence and 'grabbed the victim's hair and struck the victim with keys clenched in her fist,' Kenner police said in a probable cause affidavit, per NBC News. Williamson was not named in the affidavit. Love was served an order of protection as part of her custody release following a bond hearing, according to court records. In 2023, adult film star Moriah Mills claimed she had an intimate relationship with the former No. 1 overall pick, and threatened to release alleged sex tapes of the two. In March, Love revealed she is pregnant and celebrating 'another addition to our family' in an Instagram post. She did not name the child's father. Love and Williamson welcomed a daughter in 2023.
