What To Know
Michelle Obama appeared on Amy Poehler's new podcast, Good Hang with Amy Poehler, which was released on Tuesday. During the episode, the pair spoke about love languages, and for the Obamas, that's teasing one another.
"Both Barack and Craig will say that I don't let them tease me," the former first lady said of her husband and older brother, Craig Robinson. "See we have a deal—Barack and I in our marriage—and it started very early. It's like, 'I can tease you, but you cannot tease me.'"
Poehler said that Barack Obama "likes to tease," but Michelle Obama added that when she and her daughters get together, the politician "doesn't stand a chance."
"We mercilessly go after him," the IMO with Michelle Obama & Craig Robinson podcast host said.
"So yes, teasing is our love language, which I tell him that," Michelle Obama noted. "I said, 'When I tease you... it's like a love tap.'"
Poehler agreed and said that "the more you know someone, the more safe you feel around them, the more you can poke."
"Manners are for people we don't really know," the Saturday Night Live star teased.

Taylor Swift Receives Prestigious Award Days After Personal Announcement

Taylor Swift Receives Prestigious Award Days After Personal Announcement originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The talk of the weekend centered around global pop icon Taylor Swift, who announced on Friday—via Instagram and her website—that she has officially regained ownership of all her music masters. The announcement came in the form of a heartfelt and detailed letter posted to her site, marking the end of a long and hard-fought battle for control over her original recordings. "All of the music I've ever made now belongs… to me," Swift wrote. "All my music videos. All the closet films. The memories and photography. The unreleased songs. Every little bit… My entire life's work.' According to Billboard, Swift reacquired her masters for an estimated $360 million. In the wake of the news, her music saw a massive resurgence—especially her debut self-titled album, Taylor Swift. Throughout the weekend, every album in her catalog appeared on the iTunes Top 100, with four albums occupying spots in the Top 10 at one point. Then, just days later on Monday, Swift received yet another prestigious honor—this time connected to her beloved hit, 'Love Story.' According to the Taylor Swift Museum, 'Love Story (Taylor's Version)' has officially surpassed one billion streams on Spotify. With this achievement, Swift has now earned her 17th Spotify Billion Streams Plaque Award. With her entire music catalog surging, Taylor Swift has now overtaken and held the No. 1 spot on the global Spotify charts for two consecutive days—surpassing Spanish artist Bad Bunny, who had maintained the top position for nearly four months. What makes this achievement even more remarkable is that Swift has done it all without releasing any new music in 2025. After wrapping up her record-breaking "Eras Tour" in December, she had largely remained out of the spotlight—until recently. Over the past week, Swift has been seen publicly several times, including outings with her boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, and most notably, a Saturday night dinner with close friend Selena Gomez following her announcement about regaining her story was originally reported by Athlon Sports on Jun 3, 2025, where it first appeared.

Instagram's Testing an In-App Teleprompter Feature for Edits

This story was originally published on Social Media Today. To receive daily news and insights, subscribe to our free daily Social Media Today newsletter. Instagram's developing a new, in-app teleprompter display within its new Edits app, in order to help creators present to camera in a more natural and engaging way. As you can see in this example, shared by app researcher Alessandro Paluzzi, Edits will soon have an in-stream rolling text display option, which will present your script on-screen. Users will be able to adjust the speed at which the words are displayed before them, as well as the size of the text. Which, as noted, could make your videos feel more natural, increasing their fluidity in presentation. It's always a little strange to see on-screen presenters shifting their focus to cue cards that just out of view. I mean, it's even a little weird on 'Saturday Night Live' (though understandably necessary), where they're clearly reading the script at a just adjacent angle to the camera lens. Having the text presented just below your phone camera could be a helpful update in this respect, while also giving you an always-ready teleprompter, without the need for additional cardboard notes. And given that using a human in a video increases engagement, this could be an important consideration for your content. Instagram flagged the coming teleprompter update in an interview with Wired last week, which is just one of several new features the team's developing. Instagram's also noted that most of these coming updates will be launched in its new Edits app first, instead of the main app, in order to make it a more valuable video creation platform. Which will also include AI features, including background generation, and translation of your original video material into whatever setting or character type you like. Which will give you a whole lot more video options, and while those AI elements still look pretty fake, they are getting better all the time. Sign in to access your portfolio

Who Is ‘Destination X' Contestant Biggy Bailey? Everything We Know About the Content Creator So Far

Biggy Bailey is one of 12 contestants on NBC's new reality competition show Destination X – and he's ready to 'do whatever it takes' to win the game and bring home the coveted $250,000 cash prize. In Touch reveals everything to know so far about the competitor. Biggy is a successful content creator and a sports bettor. He is described as a 'walking sports encyclopedia' who 'excels at calculating risk and crunching numbers,' according to NBC. Additionally, he was able to learn 'the skill of persuasion and convincing others to follow his lead' from his prior experience as a sales manager. Despite being on a reality competition show that revolves around travel and calls for competitors to have an extensive knowledge of European geography and culture, Biggy had only traveled throughout the United States and Mexico prior to his stint on the series. What he didn't know from experience, he made up for with studying — and it paid off! In the series premiere episode, he showed off his skills in the suitcase challenge, when he got six European country-related clues correct in a row. He would have won the challenge if fellow contestants Ally Bross and Mack Fitzgerald hadn't teamed up to snag the win by a hair with seven tags. He also avoided being the first player sent home by correctly guessing they were in Rome in the map room. He is from Chattanooga, Tennessee. Biggy has racked up a sizable social media following over the years. On his TikTok, where he is known as 'biggycookthebook,' he has a whopping 1.2 million followers. He also has over 21,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel. Aside from his work on social media, he additionally hosts a podcast called 'Cook the Book.' In the Spotify summary for the show, he describes the podcast as 'Biggy touching on the topics that matter (not really).' Destination X takes competitors on the journey of a lifetime as they make their way through Europe in a blacked-out bus where they 'eat, sleep and travel together' while strategizing and navigating the ever-changing dynamics with other contestants in the group. Throughout the course of the season, each player must take on a number of high-pressure challenges and interpret sneaky clues – and also weed out the occasional red herrings – given by host Jeffrey Dean Morgan in order to find out exactly where in the world they are. 'They will need to rely on their knowledge of pop culture, history, geography and observational skills to win clues to their current location and earn an all-important advantage,' the NBC press release read. 'The players each share an unmistakable sense of wanderlust, but with constantly shifting alliances and unexpected adversaries, they're forced to discover who they can trust, whose strengths will take them the farthest and who to send to the Map Room.' According to his bio, Biggy plans to use his 'loveable' and 'outgoing' personality to 'strategically connect with his competitors and do whatever it takes to win the game.' The first episode of Destination X premieres on May 27, 2025. Fans can continue to follow Biggy's journey on the show on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on NBC or catch it streaming the next day on Peacock.
