Sevilla's 15th league defeat of the campaign has left them in 16th place in the La Liga table and dangerously close to the relegation zone with three matches remaining.
And a small number of the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan faithful showed their anger by attacking the club's training ground.
Footage on social media showed an angry mob attacking and breaking through the training ground's protective gate.
According to The Athletic, Garcia Pimienta's troops had to take refuge in their training ground for the night due to fears for their safety.

Sevilla issued a scathing statement on the incredible act of violence, in which they urged the authorities to take serious action.
It read: 'Sevilla FC strongly condemns the organised vandalism that took place this Saturday night at the Jose Ramon Cisneros Palacios Sports City, following the first team's arrival at the facilities after the match against Celta de Vigo.
'Sevilla FC requests that the Security Forces and Corps exercise the utmost diligence to locate those responsible for these despicable acts, perpetrated by a gang of organized radicals who acted with extreme violence.
'Beyond the complaints, Sevilla FC is committed to doing everything in its power to assist in the pursuit of the perpetrators of these crimes.

"It will try to help identify those involved in these actions and will act relentlessly in the event that they are Sevilla FC fans and members.
'Finally, Sevilla FC expresses its absolute condemnation of any protest that involves violence and criminal acts like those seen this Saturday, May 10.
Ex-Premier League star Jesus Navas breaks down in tears as he plays final home game for Sevilla
'The club is certain that these actions do not represent the Sevilla fans, who are also aware of the significance of Tuesday's match against UD Las Palmas at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan.'
Sevilla are a mere six points above the relegation zone following Saturday's defeat to Celta.
Hot on their heels are 18th-placed Las Palmas, whom they'll host at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan on Tuesday night for an old-fashioned relegation six-pointer.
Defeat to Los Amarillos could all but condemn Sevilla to the Segunda Division as they face tricky ties against Real Madrid and Villarreal in their last two matches of the season.

But emergency services raced to his home at Perols, near Montpellier, on Monday after concerns were raised for his welfare. Toulouse-born Congre was reportedly found unconscious with a severe stab wound close to his heart. Montpellier police have opened an enquiry into the incident, which took place near the city's airport. Congre joined Montpellier straight after their surprise Ligue 1 title win in 2012, and went on to captain the side. Aston Villa considered signing him in January 2016, while he had attracted interest from Crystal Palace and West Brom the previous spring. Able to operate in central defence or on either flank, he won seven Under-21 caps for France. Congre, whose parents hail from the French Caribbean, later received a senior call-up from Guadeloupe. Despite this, he failed to make their squad for the 2009 Concacaf Gold Cup. A source close to the now-retired player said on Tuesday morning that his condition had become more stable. But enquiries continue into whether Congre's injuries were self-inflicted or a third party was involved.

Spurs in talks over second Brentford arrival with Frank targeting Bryan Mbeumo

Tottenham are closing in on the appointment of Thomas Frank but are set to raid the Dane's former club Brentford for both his backroom staff and some players this summer Tottenham are in talks to bring in Thomas Frank's assistant Justin Cochrane as part of a mega raid on Brentford. The North London side are closing in on the Dane's appointment as their new head coach. He will move to Tottenham as part of a £10million deal that will see him replace Ange Postecoglou after his sacking last week. But Spurs aren't quite finished there, with Frank keen to bring colleagues and players in from his former club. ‌ According to Sky Sports, talks are ongoing regarding Frank's backroom staff which includes assistant coach Cochrane. It was previously thought that Cochrane would be in contention to potentially replace Frank at Brentford but that now appears unlikely. ‌ Ironically, Cochrane started his coaching career with Tottenham and then moved through the age groups with the FA. Speaking about that move, he said: 'I was ready for that next challenge. It was difficult leaving Tottenham because I enjoyed it, it was very close to home, and it was a good place to work. "But the opportunity to work for England with some of the best young talents, and with some of the coaches at the time, who were fantastic... I felt it was an opportunity for me to learn again, experience some new things, and it really helped me develop as a coach and a person.' Cochrane has also held roles with AFC Wimbledon and Manchester United. The former defender arrived at Brentford in June 2022, while he was also confirmed as a member of Thomas Tuchel's England coaching staff earlier this year. Speaking about his time with Brentford, he added: "I had the ppportunity to work with Thomas, the opportunity to work in the Premier League with a progressive club, and I just wanted to learn again. It's another new challenge. saw it as more learning, working with good people, working in a good environment. 'I spent time working with the AFC Wimbledon first team in League One, but I wanted to test myself in the Premier League. There were some manager offers from League One clubs and some assistant coach roles at other Premier League clubs. ‌ Will Thomas Frank be a good appointment for Spurs? Share your thoughts in the comments below "But, in the end, it was an easy decision. It wasn't easy to leave Manchester United, but I wanted to go from working with youth players to working with the first team. I did 14 years with youth players at a good level, so to go to Brentford in a first-team environment, I felt like that was the next step for me as a coach. 'Once I had my mind set on Brentford, I'd met Thomas a few times and I'd met Phil, I just felt like it was the right fit; there were some good people to continue learning from, and it's been brilliant so far.' ‌ Cochrane and Frank could potentially be joined at Tottenham by forward Bryan Mbeumo. The Cameroon international is in the middle of a transfer tug of war between Manchester United and the North London side. However, Frank isn't expected to have the only say on recruitment when he arrives at his new club. Technical Director Johan Lange - who has helped spearhead the approach for Frank - and former director Fabio Paratici are the two anticipated to be leading Spurs in the summer window.
