A POPULAR kids snack brand has launched two brand new flavours, with each lunchbox treat costing just 33p.
With pressures from the cost-of-living crisis remaining high, many parents are finding it hard to provide their kids with well-earned treats.

And although food prices are skyrocketing, thankfully there are still some budget-friendly options for money conscious parents.
Kids' snack brand Whaoo! has launched two new delicious treats for chocolate fans.
Snack lovers can now get their hands on Chocolate and Banana Filled Crêpes and bite-sized Mini Chocolate Chip Brioche Buns.
The two products come in packs of six, costing £1.95 at Tesco and Asda, making each snack just 33p.
The tiny tasty treats are perfect for popping into kids lunchboxes, and can be enjoyed on the go on extra busy days.
Whaoo! said: "Whether it's a snack for after school activities, a companion for weekend adventures or a delightful lunchbox surprise, both newly launched products are individually wrapped for convivence and parents can trust the sweet treats to provide a delicious quick fix when tummies start to rumble."
'We're thrilled to be expanding our range with two new snacks", said ean-Pascal Allemand, Managing Director at Whaoo!
"Our Chocolate & Banana Filed Crêpes put a sweet spin on our much-loved original, and we're especially excited to introduce our Mini Chocolate Chip Brioche Bun – a brand-new style of snack that's just as convenient and delicious.
"Whether it's for the school run, sports club, or weekend outings, Whaoo! has families covered with snacks that parents trust, and kids love.'
This comes after a major supermarket began selling viral "angel hair" chocolate, which left some shoppers disgusted.

The Viele Angel Hair Strawberry Flavour Chocolate is now available at Morrisons, and the unusual looking snack is dividing customers.
The pink Turkish chocolate bar is filled with pistachio cream and green cotton candy, with the inside resembling human hair.
Morrisons posted a video of the new product to its Instagram page this week, writing: "The viral Angel Hair chocolate bar has officially landed in stores... have you tried it yet?"
But many customers appeared to be revolted by the sweet treat, with one responding: "Eww are you meant to eat that?"

Get the kids involved in making the lunch - they'll be more likely to eat it if they helped make it
Another said it looked "vile", while one shopper asked: "Is that supposed to be edible? It looks awful?"

The chief executive of supermarket chain Morrisons has hailed the group's recovery from a cyber-attack. Rami Baitiéh said the grocery firm had 'bounced back strongly' since its technology provider, Blue Yonder, suffered a ransomware incident last November. Morrisons constructed a new warehouse management system to maintain its stock levels after the hack badly disrupted its operations. Its like-for-like revenue growth subsequently slowed to just 2.1 per cent in the quarter ending 26 January, compared to 4.9 per cent over the prior three months. However, the Bradford-based retailer reported that its comparable turnover increased by 3.9 per cent in the 13 weeks ending 27 April, while total sales expanded by 4.2 per cent to £3.9billion. Morrisons also revealed that its first-half underlying earnings before nasties climbed by 7.2 per cent to £344million. The group, which is owned by US private equity firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, opened 42 franchise sites during the period, taking the overall number of Morrisons Daily convenience outlets to above 1,700. Alongside this, it began trials of several in-store schemes, introducing a new World Foods offer and a revamped fresh food counter concept, Market Street, that more closely resembles a farm shop. Baitiéh said: 'Against the backdrop of a challenging macro environment, with inflation driving subdued consumer sentiment, value remains at the forefront of customers' minds. 'Throughout the first half, we've worked hard on helping customers through these challenges with a rigorous focus on price, promotions and meaningful rewards for loyalty.' Morrisons further announced that it had raised its cost savings target to £1billion after surpassing its initial £700million goal during the last quarter. The company unveiled the original cost-cutting target two years ago to help finance price reductions for consumers struggling with inflationary pressures, caused mainly by soaring energy bills and supply chain disruptions. As part of these plans, Morrisons declared its intention in March to shut over 50 cafes, four pharmacies, multiple convenience stores and florists, and dozens of counters serving meat, fish, or hot food. About 365 jobs are at risk of permanent redundancy due to the closures, with the majority of those affected working in the convenience stores. Morrisons exited the convenience market in 2015 after selling its M local sites, but returned to the sector just months later with the launch of its Morrisons Daily brand. It currently holds an 8.4 per cent share of the UK grocery market, according to recent data from market research organisation Kantar.

MORRISONS customers have been left fuming over a new car park time limit that's been introduced at a string of supermarkets. The retailer has quietly cut the maximum period shoppers can park their vehicles in some of its car parks before being fined up to £100. 1 Supermarket car parks are on private land and often run by private companies that impose penalties if you overrun a maximum stay. Morrisons has confirmed it has quietly reduced maximum stay periods at five of its supermarkets: Skipton, Blackburn, Queensbury, Leighton Buzzard and Southport. The change in rules has left some shoppers fuming. One customer at the Skipton branch, referencing a sign outside saying the change had been made to free up parking spaces, said: "I hope Morrisons see the 'improved customer availability' they desire." Another, commenting on the change at the same store, added: "Two and a half hours max at Morrisons car park in Skipton from June 2." Meanwhile, a shopper at the impacted Blackburn branch added a photo of a sign detailing the new parking limits, adding: "A warning to anyone who parks on Morrisons car park in Blackburn. "They have reduced the times you can park there to two and a half hours." Not all shoppers are mad at the change though, with some understanding of the move. A customer who uses the Stockport store commented: "Understandable as it doesn't take three hours to do a shop. Even two hours is well long enough. "I doubt that I'm in there for more than 30 minutes." Savvy ways to save at Morrisons Meanwhile, a second, commenting on the change at the Skipton branch, said: "Who the h*ll wants to spend two and half hours in Morrisons anyway." Morrisons said it reduced the maximum stay at its Skipton branch from three hours to two and a half hours on June 2. Meanwhile, it has cut maximum stay times at the branches in Southport, Queensbury and Leighton Buzzard from three to two hours. The branch in Blackburn has seen a reduction from three hours to two and a half hours. Morrisons said the changes at all five supermarket car parks are permanent, with the reduction at its Skipton store made due to "exceptionally high" demand for parking spaces. When asked if more supermarket car parks will have their maximum stay hours reduced, the retailer declined to comment further. It said it wasn't rolling out these changes to all its branches as any reduction in car park maximum stays are made on a store-by-store basis. A spokesperson added: "We have introduced these changes to ensure there are enough spaces available for our customers when they come to shop with us." WHAT OTHER SUPERMARKETS DO Customers can spend up to two hours in most of Sainsbury's car parks for free. However, some do charge you even for a quick stay, like the Superstore branch on Clapham Common. Aldi has a limit on how long shoppers can use its car parks before being charged but this varies from store to store. The retailer says signs are put up at each branch telling you how long you can stay for free and how much it costs beyond this point. Maximum stays at Tesco car parks vary from branch to branch. The retailer says signs are put up around car parks displaying maximum stay limits as well as on sign at car park entrances. Parking is free at most of Asda's stores, while some locations are Pay and Display. How to save at Morrisons Buying a delivery pass can slash the cost of shopping online if you're a Morrisons regular. You also get priorities for Christmas delivery slots. How much it costs depends on which you get anytime or mid-week, and if it's for the year, six-months or monthly. You'll need to work out the cost compared to how much you spend on delivery without one to see if it's worthwhile. Morrisons does a range of wonky veg that can work out cheaper than the main range. Check websites like Quidco and TopCashback BEFORE you place your order. Cashback websites PAY you to shop. All you have to do is click through their links and the money is added to your online account. Search for discount codes on websites like and to see if you can get money off at the till. How many points you earn will depend on the offers available at the time, plus you get five points for every litre of fuel at Morrisons petrol stations.
