Chayan Chopra
, known for his role in Lust Stories 2, recently had a profound spiritual experience while shooting his upcoming film Avyaan in Varanasi. Reflecting on his time in the city, he shared, 'Shooting for Avyaan was my first time ever in Varanasi — and honestly, it felt like stepping into another dimension.
There's something ancient and alive about the city, like time slows down and the soul starts speaking louder. From the chaos of the gallis to the stillness & intensity of the Ganga aarti, everything felt cinematic and sacred at once. It wasn't just a trip, it felt like a reset.'
That journey left a lasting impact on him, both emotionally and spiritually. Describing the shift he felt upon returning, Chayan said, 'I went in with a lot on my mind, and came back feeling… lighter, clearer.
Almost like Devi herself whispered me. Interestingly, later-on, I went to the Maha Kumbh with my brother (Rachit Chopra) on the Maha Shivratri Night post which we took a stop at Kashi - and he ended up having a similar experience about this truly-magical-city.
'
Discussing his role in Avyaan, the actor—also known for his performances in Class, Guilty, and Cadets—revealed a new dimension to his craft. 'There's no performance here, only presence.
People have seen me in layered characters before, but this time, it's less about the drama and more about the silences in between. It's personal. I've grown a lot since Class, Cadets, and Guilty — not just as an actor, but as a person.
And I think this project carries that evolution. It's for those who enjoy truth more than theatrics. My exposure to music in this film is what I'm most grateful about - the audience can also, perhaps, expect to hear my voice in one of tracks…maybe (laughs)!'
As he continues to move forward in his career, Chayan has his sights set on future collaborations. He dreams of working with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and actor Ranbir Kapoor, stating, 'All my close friends know my most favourite actor is RK — because he makes you feel without ever trying to. There's an elegance in how he lets vulnerability coexist with strength. To hold a scene with him would be a masterclass in itself.

'You will never earn that money': Tillotama Shome recalls a director's harsh words, reveals what happened next

Tillotama Shome is one of the versatile actresses in the entertainment industry, consistently impressing fans with her remarkable acting skills. Despite her immense talent, she previously revealed that a director once told her she could never earn a significant amount of money in the industry due to its inherent norms. She also shared how she proved the director wrong by getting a high amount for a film. Tillotama Shome remembers what a director told her In a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter India, Tillotama Shome recalled an experience with a film director who paid her a very low fee for one of her roles. At the wrap-up party of the film, someone asked her about something she would desire. Shome remembered saying that she wanted to buy an expensive car and expressed her wish to earn a particular amount from a film so she could afford it. She recounted the director's response, "I'm sorry to break this to you, but you will never earn that money. It's unfair. Unfortunately, you are very talented, but in this industry, the way it is, you will never earn that money." The Paatal Lok Season 2 actress then shared what happened next. She remembered, "I remember my next film. I negotiated for four months, knowing that was the best part I was ever going to get. I'm not going to name this, but it was everything that I wanted - creatively. But I fought for the money because it had to be double the amount that I had told the director." Tillotama remembered what she did after she got the project and the money she wanted. She said, "And once I got that double the money, I sent a message to the director saying, 'By the way, I just closed the contract and I got paid this much. I think you should just know before you tell an actor that they can't do this." She emphasized how important it was for her to let the director know. Jim Sarbh, who was sitting next to her, applauded her for this achievement. Workwise, Tillotama Shome has been a part of several shows such as Lust Stories 2, Paatal Lok, Kota Factory: Season 3 and more.

The show delves into the complexities of adult friendships and relationships, and features a few intimate scenes between the trio, which sparked backlash online. 'Like picking up a cup and taking a sip' Opening up about how such scenes are actually shot, Tamannaah told Lallantop, 'When you're on set, there's an intimacy coordinator, a director, and a cameraperson present. Teams for hair, makeup, and costume are also there. It's just like picking up a cup and taking a sip—it's completely orchestrated. You know you're going to pick up the cup, take a sip, and then put it down. These scenes are just as choreographed. Everyone knows what they're doing. ' The actress further shared that the presence of an intimacy coordinator helps ensure that both actors are comfortable and respected. Tamannaah Bhatia sets record straight on marriage rumours with Abdul Razzaq 'The intimacy coordinator explains certain rules—these are the things that might make you uncomfortable and should be avoided.
