Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been actively promoting her debut film as a producer Subham quite actively. Days before the release of her film, Samantha shared a bunch of photos on her social media which included some stills from her film promotions, a few pictures with the crew, and also a picture with director Raj Nidimoru.
Samantha and Raj have previously worked together on The Family Man and Citadel Honey Bunny. They also partnered up on the pickleball team, Chennai Super Champs. Netizens have previously speculated about their relationship but the duo has stayed mum about the subject. Raj is married to a woman named Shhyamali De, and the couple shares a daughter. Samantha was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya. The couple parted ways in 2021 after 4 years of marriage.

Samantha's debut production venture, Subham, is gearing up for a grand release on May 9. At a recent media interaction in Hyderabad, the actor advocated for equal pay. During an interaction with the media, Samantha was asked if she would work with stars under her newly launched production venture, Tralala Productions. She said, 'I never say never. Under Tralala Productions, I want to be very careful about every aspect. It believe in equal skill, equal remuneration, and equal experience. It was easy for this film, as everyone was a newcomer.' She added, 'I know that different kinds of films have different requirements. As much as possible, I want to make sure that there is equal skill, equal pay and equal experience.'
