WNBA teammates' tense standoff with Indianapolis nightclub doorman revealed on livestream: 'Bruh, we in the W'

Daily Maila day ago
Known to gamers on Twitch as 'StudBudz,' Minnesota Lynx teammates Courtney Williams and Natisha Hiedeman came to dominate social media over WNBA All-Star weekend by livestreaming an array of glamorous behind-the-scenes action.
Williams, an All-Star guard, and Hiedeman, a key reserve for the first-place Lynx, are seen clubbing with WNBA stars like Angel Reese, Nneka Ogwumike and Skylar Diggins. Even WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert gets in on the action by dancing to Crime Mob's hip-hop anthem 'Knuck if You Buck' alongside Williams despite a looming labor battle between the league and players.
And StudBudz didn't just share the highlights of their 72 hours, or so, in Indianapolis. Their struggle to enter a local nightclub was also streamed on Twitch.
'Bruh, we in the "W" and s*** and we just got done at the All-Star Game,' a perfectly calm Williams is seen telling the bouncer. 'So, I'm sorry, I'm not even trying to be funny but we should not be waiting in no line.'
After scoring 13 points in a winning effort, Williams didn't lose her cool with the doorman as she, Hiedeman, and their friends are held up on the sidewalk. Onlookers are seen recognizing her and Hiedeman, both of whom were happy to have their photos taken with fans.
For her part, Williams seemed to consider aborting the line altogether until more friends arrived. And with the added pressure to gain entry, Williams returned her attention to the doorman, even as she continued with the Twitch livestream.
Natisha Hiedeman is seen speaking on the phone as she and some friends await entry
'We always on stream,' Williams told one onlooker as she waited for a response from the bouncer. 'Ya'all know that.'
At one point the group is told they'd be limited to seven guests, at which point they discussed leaving for another venue.
In the end, everyone is allowed to enter, although Hiedeman hangs back to ensure the entire party is permitted to enter.
Fans were a bit divided on social media, where some felt the club should have recognized the presence of a WNBA All-Star during WNBA All-Star weekend.
'They should have been escorted into the club...ASAP!' one fan wrote on X. 'Bottle service...no charge!'
'Courtney [is 100 percent] right,' another added.
Others struggled to imagine the Indianapolis night club scene.
'Waiting in a line in Indiana is crazy,' one wrote.
Others, though, thought Williams was being a prima donna.
'She said we play in the W,' one critic wrote alongside a laughing emoji.
For all of the livestreaming and All-Star action, Williams' biggest headline of the weekend may have come during Saturday's introductions when the Georgia native twerked for attendees at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
Williams and Hiedeman have another few days to relax before the Lynx return to action against the Chicago Sky on Tuesday night in Minneapolis.

Tracee Ellis Ross stuns fans after revealing how many pairs of underwear she packs for vacation

Tracee Ellis Ross is the internet's favorite rich, single aunty. And thanks to a recent TikTok she made showing what she does on vacation with her underwear, her fans are calling her more relatable than ever. In the video, Tracee says that a person can 'only pack so much underwear' and explains that rather than pack a month's worth of undies or paying hotels to wash her delicates, she does it herself. She broke down the process, saying that she uses shower gel, a bar of soap, and two sinks to hand wash her underwear before she rings them out, rolls them into a towel, and then hangs them up to dry. This video comes one day after Tracee spoke to Travel + Leisure editor-in-chief Jacqui Gifford about her packing essentials during an on stage interview at the annual World's Best Summit on July 15. She told Jacqui that along with a dress, bathing suit, and flip flop, 'there's always two undies' that she packs. Jacqui questioned Tracee on this, asking if she only brings two pairs of underwear. The Black-ish actress explained her underwear-washing process - the same one she eventually posted a video of - and moved on to talking about the importance of solo traveling. Tracee's fans praised this process, sharing that they too were raised to wash their intimates by hand. Many called her 'relatable' and 'likeable' for the act despite her celebrity But the internet paused there momentarily. With headlines stating Tracee only packed two pairs of underwear while traveling, some people were beginning to believe that that was all the underwear she'd bring with her on a trip. Considering Tracee's celebrity, some fans were confused by this. 'This can't be real, buy new ones,' one user even wrote on X, formerly Twitter. But after Tracee noticed the traction the article was getting, she decided to address the speculation by reposting one of the articles on her Instagram story. She captioned it saying, 'This is hilarious. I pack two pairs in my carry-on... in case my luggage doesn't make it.' Regardless, it seemed as though a majority of Tracee's fans didn't care for how much underwear she actually packed - they were too excited at the 'down-to-earth' display of her makeshift 'washing machine' to care. 'Why are you so normal and so extraordinary at the same time?' one user commented on her TikTok. After confused messages from fans, Tracee took to her Instagram stories to clarify that she only packs two pairs of underwear in her carry-on in case anything happens to her main luggage. But she did say that she doesn't pack many pairs despite the length of a trip Many people even shared that their own experiences, pointing out that they were raised to wash their intimates by hand just like Tracee. 'I love seeing things that show that celebrities are literally just normal people,' another wrote. 'This is why we love you Tracey! So relatable!' someone else added. Almost every other comment on Tracee's two-part videos (one for the washing process and the other for drying) mirrored similar sentiments: this act only made Tracee that much more likable. 'Miss Tracee, I didn't think I could love you more but after this, I do,' one fan confessed.

Caitlin Clark reveals what she told Taylor Swift when they watched Travis Kelce and the Chiefs play

Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark opened up about a famous photo that she took while watching her favorite football team alongside arguably the biggest pop star in the world. Earlier this year, Clark was spotted alongside pop icon Taylor Swift as the 'Cruel Summer' singer watched her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, play for the Kansas City Chiefs. Clark and Swift cheered on as the Chiefs beat the Houston Texans in the AFC Divisional round back in January. Months later, Clark attended a live taping at WNBA All-Star weekend of the 'A Touch More' podcast - hosted by sports power couple Sue Bird and Megan Rapinoe. Bird, a women's basketball icon, and Rapinoe, a women's soccer idol, asked Clark to spill the details about their conversation in the luxury suites at Arrowhead Stadium. Clark said that the photo captured a moment where Swift was asking her for an explanation about a penalty call. Caitlin is asked what she and Taylor talked about lmfao 'Honestly I love football and I know a lot about football. So I was like telling her why they threw a flag. But in the best way I don't even know everything. So I was just explaining things but yeah that was really fun.' — correlation (@nosyone4) July 21, 2025 'Honestly I love football and I know a lot about football. So I was like telling her why they threw a flag,' Clark told Bird and Rapinoe. 'But in the best way I don't even know everything. So I was just explaining things but yeah that was really fun.' 'I'm a big Chiefs fan, so getting to spend time with Taylor and then also Travis played really well that game, the Chiefs won, it was the playoffs.' Kansas City would eventually reach Super Bowl LIX, where they were decimated by the Philadelphia Eagles. Clark has been dealing with a nagging groin injury which kept her out for five games in recent weeks. Before the All-Star Game, the injury flared back up and kept her out of the festivities in Indianapolis.

Music heiress, 21, is arrested after arranging huge brawl in a Tennessee Walmart

A music heiress was arrested after she attacked another woman with a sock full of rocks at a Walmart before allegedly stealing the victim's Louis Vuitton purse. Diamond Tankard, the grandchild of Ben Tankard, the 'Godfather of Gospel Jazz,' and star of Bravo's 'Thicker Than Water' reality show, was taken into custody on Friday following the alleged assault in Antioch, near Nashville, Tennessee. The violent encounter was caught on camera and even posted to social media by Tankard, 21. It is unclear what sparked the confrontation. Tankard, dressed in a pink shirt and camo pants, was seen pummeling a woman and pulling her hair near the checkout counter at the store. While bystanders tried to step in to stop the mayhem, Tankard pulled out a white and red striped tube sock before striking the other woman in the face with it. At one point, Tankard's wig fell off her head, but she continued to punch the unidentified woman in the chaotic scenes. The clip showed the reality star wearing an ankle monitor as blood dripped from the unnamed victim's face. Following the dramatic incident, the victim told officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department Tankard stole her $900 designer handbag and $1,500 iPhone 14, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by WVLT. While bystanders tried to step in to stop the mayhem, Tankard was seen appearing to pull out a white and red striped tube sock (pictured) before striking the other woman in the face with it The woman said Tankard approached her from behind and grabbed her hair while she was using the self-checkout lane. The victim was left with a laceration above her left eye, on her forehead, the report said. Video surveillance from the store showed Tankard was seen using a sock full of rocks and swinging it several times. Tankard was arrested and charged with theft of property and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She was released on a $25,000 bond, records showed. Just last year, Tankard was charged with attempted first-degree murder after she was accused of intentionally striking a woman with her vehicle on November 29. That night, the female victim, 30, and her sister left a bar around 12.30am and entered their vehicle. Tankard then approached the driver's side window and asked the victim's sister 'if she knew a male,' police said. 'After the victim's sister told Tankard, no, she did not know him, they got into a subsequent verbal argument which turned physical,' it went on, adding that when the victim tried to break up the fight, Tankard entered her Range Rover. She then drove the car to the end of the street before turning around and 'accelerating at a high rate of speed before striking the victim who sustained critical injuries,' police said. During that incident, she was also wearing an ankle monitor for a domestic assault-related arrest. It is unclear if the ankle monitor in the recent video was the same device. Tankard was also charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving injury and failing to render aid. She was released on a $1,002,000 bond. According to her social media accounts, Tankard lives in Nashville and has a daughter. She is the daughter of Brooklyn Tankard, one of Ben's daughters. Tankard was previously described as 'the entertainer of the family,' while her mother was said to love being 'the center of attention, according to Bravo. She shot to fame as a child star on her family's Bravo reality series which aired from 2013 to 2019. The series showed her grandfather's life and career as a music producer and pastor at Destiny Center Church in Murfreesboro. Her grandfather, Ben, is also a former professional basketball player who serves as a motivational speaker for the NBA's Development League.
