HK star Nicholas Tse launches chilli crab mayo hot dog for JJ Lin's concert

Singapore's Mandopop king JJ Lin had some star-studded support for the Hong Kong leg of his JJ20 Final Lap World Tour.
The 44-year-old star performed at Kai Tak Stadium on May 24 and will play another show there on May 25. Hong Kong singer-actor and chef-entrepreneur Nicholas Tse launched a shrimp hot dog with chilli crab mayo, inspired by Singapore's famed chilli crab dish, to be sold at the concert venue in conjunction with Lin's gigs.
In a joint Instagram post with Lin on May 23, Tse, 44, said: 'Good music must go with awesome food.'
Lin also posted an Instagram Story of the hot dog buns on May 24 while preparing for his show backstage at Kai Tak Stadium. He could be heard saying in the video: 'A hot dog with a bit of Singaporean style to it. It looks yummy.'
Aside from Tse, many of Lin's celebrity friends also showed their support.
Lin posted a clip of the flower arrangements he received from his show-business friends, including veteran Hong Kong A-listers Jacky Cheung and Andy Lau, as well as Taiwanese singer-actor Richie Jen and martial arts movie star Jackie Chan.
Fellow Mandopop king Jay Chou had drinks delivered. Chou, 46, sent over bottles and cups of beverages from milk tea chain Machi Machi, which is known to be his favourite milk tea brand. Machi Machi will soft launch in Hong Kong on May 26.
Lin posted about the drinks in an Instagram Story on May 24 and said: 'Thank you to my bro (Chou) for these refreshing drinks.'
Lin kicked off his JJ20 Final Lap World Tour in Singapore with a two-night show at the National Stadium in December 2024. This is an extension of his JJ20 World Tour, celebrating two decades since his debut, which ran from 2022 to 2024.
The Final Lap tour has travelled to cities in North America and Europe, including New York and London. After Hong Kong, it will continue on to Taipei and Seoul, and finally end with nine nights at the Beijing National Stadium in June and July.

Ruby Lin strikes touristy Merlion pose in Singapore at Vivian Hsu's 'recommendation', Entertainment News
When in Singapore, do as the tourists do. That seems to be the cue taken by Ruby Lin when the actress was in town recently. The 49-year-old may be a star in Taiwan and beyond, but a recent Instagram post showed how in Singapore, she can be just like any other merry holidaymaker. But unlike other regular tourists, however, Ruby had the privilege of having fellow celeb Vivian Hsu, 50, as her "tour guide". Vivian, who split from her Singaporean husband Sean Lee in 2023, reportedly lives in Singapore with her only son, but travels to Taiwan frequently for work. In a post published on Saturday (June 7), Ruby wrote about taking the series of "tourist photos" at the encouragement of her "dear sister", Vivian. "Under the strong recommendation of my tour guide, companion cum photographer and dear sister, I've taken this photo which she said I'll thank her for in 10 years' time," wrote Ruby, referring to a picture of herself striking the iconic 'Merlion pose'. "I've therefore taken this series of touristy photos," she joked, alongside a laughing emoji. She also wrote in a series of hashtags, "As long as you're not embarrassed, others will be the ones who are embarrassed" as well as another hashtag stating that the 'photographer' was very responsible and took such photos for the entire group. However, Ruby's little sojourn to our sunny island might not have been all that recent. YES 933 DJ Hazelle Teo is engaged to pianist James Wong
James Wong had proposed to Hazelle Teo on the final night of her work trip in Qingdao. On June 6, Mediacorp's Chinese-language radio station YES 933 DJ Hazelle Teo wrote a collaborative post with her now-fiance James Wong, saying: 'This feels so right. We feel so right. The rest of our lives feels so right.' The pair first met in 2024 when Teo, 31, reached out to Wong, 24, who is also a content creator, for a collaboration . This featured Wong on the keys, while Teo sang a mash-up of Taylor Swift's hits Love Story (2008) and Enchanted (2010). The proposal took place in the Chinese port city of Qingdao, where Wong surprised Teo in her hotel room on the final night of her week-long work trip. In her caption, Teo wrote that she arrived at the hotel at 1.00am, ready to rest before heading to the airport at 6.00am. 'But when I opened the door, I was greeted by soft orange lighting, lots of flowers, someone holding a camera, plenty of confusion... and then I saw my then-boyfriend (now fiance, lol) standing there nervously.' In the series of photographs uploaded on Instagram, a petal-adorned candle-lit walkway was seen leading up to a bouquet of flowers in the centre of the room. Fellow YES 933 DJ Kunhua left his well-wishes for the couple in the comments, also musing that he can finally tell everyone why he returned from China alone.
