'Love Is Blind 'Alum Marshall Glaze Says Last Year Was 'Very Tough' for Him: 'I Was Going to Take My Own Life'

Marshall Glaze, who appeared on season 4 of Love Is Blind, discussed his mental health challenges on the Wednesday, June 4, edition of What's the Reality? podcast During the podcast, he discussed contemplating suicide, saying, "Last year was just very tough for me mentally, and I was going to take my own life" He recalled realizing that he wanted to "live" and said that he hoped sharing his story would allow him to "heal"Marshall Glaze is getting candid about his mental health journey. The season 4 Love Is Blind star was a guest on the Wednesday, June 4, edition of Amber Desiree "AD" Smith's podcast, What's the Reality?, during which he discussed his mental health journey over the past year. "Last year was just very tough for me mentally, and I was going to take my own life. It just got to a point where I had always been morbidly curious, but never thought about how to do it," he said. "And then, one day, I'm just down in the dumps, just crazy depressed. Nothing is going right for me in my life or I feel like nothing is going right, that's what my internal monologue is telling me," continued Glaze. The star went on to note that "those voices, that darkness just got a little bit louder, got a little bit darker." Glaze described feeling like he was "in this box," and "the walls were just getting closer and closer and closer." "No favorite meal, no favorite movie, no favorite song, could lift me out of that," he said. "I knew I had a problem when, this particular time I talked to my mom, I was okay with that being the last time I talked to her." Glaze said he knew what he was going through was "bad" because his mother was someone he talked to "multiple times throughout the day." "I was going to do what I felt like I had to do, but I couldn't," he continued, adding that he then went for a walk that he "will never forget." "Seattle is a very rainy city, and this was at peak rain season, and I lived on a very busy street in downtown Seattle, and at any time of the day, there's buses, cars, bikes, people walking, and nobody was out there," said Glaze. He recalled walking around in the rain while wearing a cut-off t-shirt, basketball shorts and a pair of slides. "I walked around the Space Needle, came around back to my apartment, and I'm like, 'I want to live,' " he said. Glaze said that sharing his story ultimately helps him "heal." "I hope that someone out there can resonate with that and choose life," he concluded. ‘Duck Dynasty' star Miss Kay's health declines following husband Phil Robertson's death

Miss Kay Robertson, the beloved matriarch of the 'Duck Dynasty' clan, is facing a difficult chapter marked by grief and declining health. 'Kay is not in the best of health,' her son Willie told USA TODAY Network. 'We're trying to help her out as much as we can.' The 77-year-old was noticeably absent from the 'Duck Dynasty: The Revival' premiere party on June 1, hosted in Monroe, Louisiana. The news of Robertson's declining health comes after she endured the tragic loss of her husband. Phil Robertson died on May 25 after suffering from Alzheimer's. He was 79. 'Some of it is, she is just depressed,' Willie remarked. 'She lost her partner of 60 years.' Her son continued to share that Kay made appearances in early episodes of the 'Duck Dynasty' reboot. However, her declining health prevented her from filming and being featured in later episodes. Kay's health issues first came to light in April, when her son Jase Robertson shared on the podcast 'Unashamed with the Robertson Family' that she had suffered a fall and developed an infection that required hospitalization. Jase said, 'We were kind of dealing with the fact that maybe this is it.' Reps for the Robertsons did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment. 3 Miss Kay Robertson is 'not in the best of health' following the death of her husband. 'My mom is not doing great physically,' Jase said on the family podcast back in April. 'She has to have pretty much 24/7 professional healthcare.' Phil, at the time, said that their children's presence was helping her. 'But my dad [said] it's like, 'You're helping her morale.' She's helping his morale.' While their mother spent time in a health facility, Jase explained that family and friends had been visiting, with Kay's visitors dubbed 'Kay's Kingdom.' 3 The widow's husband, Phil Robertson, died on May 25th after suffering from Alzheimer's. Phil Robertson / Facebook Last month, Willie remembered his late father through faith and their final moments together. Willie, who starred in the hit A&E reality series for five years, from 2012 to 2017, took to social media to mourn the loss of his legendary father following his death. 'I remember Phil's many prayers on Memorial Day and all the times with my dad. I don't have enough words to tell of all of it, perhaps it will take months or years of remembering,' he wrote in part on Instagram. 'Most importantly, he taught me the value of sharing my faith with others. He was the Real Deal, the same on Sundays as Fridays. Most of our conversations were not about hunting or business, but about sharing the Gospel.' 3 The reality television star did not attend the 'Duck Dynasty: The Revival' premiere party on June 1. Art Streiber Phil, famous for launching the Duck Commander hunting company that became the focus of his A&E show, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in December 2024. His son concluded his heartfelt tribute and wrote, 'Phil, I love you and already miss you. Thank you for raising me the right way and teaching me the most important lesson to prepare me for the day you passed on. Not sure how people deal with loss without the Lord. We may be wrong about all this….but I doubt it! Sleep well Dad, can't wait to see you.' A&E announced earlier this year that the hit show would be revived eight years after it aired its final episode. 'Duck Dynasty: The Revival' focuses on Willie; his wife; their adult children, John Luke, Sadie, Will, Bella and Rebecca; and their grandchildren, according to a synopsis. The original 'Duck Dynasty' aired for 11 seasons from 2012-17. Per A&E, the show peaked at 11.8 million viewers.

Keanu Reeves Sets Off Engagement Talk With Girlfriend Alexandra Grant

John Wick star Keanu Reeves and his girlfriend Alexandra Grant set off engagement talk. The buzz ignited because of the couple's red carpet appearance in Los Angeles. A ring on Grant's finger got people talking. According to People, Reeves, 60, showed up at the world premiere of the movie From the World of John Wick: Ballerina on June 3 holding hands with long-time girlfriend, Grant. The couple posed for many pictures on the red carpet, and the photos from Getty Images show her with rings on both of her hands. People described Grant as an "accomplished visual artist." According to Elle, Grant showed up to the premiere with "a noticeable diamond ring" on her left ring finger," sparking "speculation that the pair might have quietly gotten engaged." It's not the first time that Grant has been spotted wearing a ring; she flashed one in April when she was photographed getting close with Reeves, Page Six reported. Reeves gushed about Grant in an interview with Entertainment Tonight in 2024 during another red carpet appearance, so the couple has been going strong for some time. "We got up and it was very exciting and just kind of nerve-wracking in the car, getting out. It's really special to be side by side," he told ET. He said of seeing Grant in her dress then, "The heart just opens." Reeves and Grant met at a dinner party in 2009, but they weren't connected romantically for another 10 years, according to Page Six. According to Page Six, the couple were dating for "years" before the public figured it out. Fans enjoyed the June 3 photos. "Love to see Keanu smiling :) and they seem so natural together. Well wishes :)," wrote one fan on X. "They are so cute together. Glad to see Keanu has someone in his life.
