Ulrika Jonsson hits out at Andy Carroll for 'gallivanting across the Mediterranean' with Lou Teasdale while his ex Billi Mucklow 'chooses to put their children first'

Daily Mail6 hours ago
has criticised Andy Carroll for 'gallivanting across the Mediterranean' with his girlfriend Lou Teasale while his ex Billi Mucklow is at home with their children.
Billi and Andy have three children together - Arlo, Wolf, and Marvel Mae - and she also raises his two children Emilie Rose, 15, and Lucas, 14 from his past relationship.
The footballer is now in a relationship with make-up artist Lou, recently confirming they had got back together after a brief split earlier this month.
Ulrika has been distinctly unimpressed with Andy's loved-up social media snaps with Lou from their travels while TOWIE star Billi looks after his children.
In her column for The Sun, she wrote: 'Billi is at home with the three children she shares with Carroll and the two children he has from a previous relationship. She's been going about her business quietly, diligently, with unwavering dignity. Choosing to put the children first.
'She has understood that children need continuity, connection and a daily routine, so while their father has been gallivanting across the Mediterranean with his tongue attached to Lou Teasdale's tonsils, she has chosen to prioritise those she loves the most.'
Ulrika asked why is it often the mother who stays at home taking care of the children while the father finds it easier to 'leave his family behind'.
'The mother is the one who remains at home with the children; who doesn't rush into another relationship; who understands she needs to get her ducks in a row before embarking on a new life?' she wrote. 'Why is it that it's so much easier for a man to just leave his family behind and go and satisfy his own needs?'
Ulrika added that Andy and Lou's 'summer of love' has been so relentless, she's 'exhausted' just watching their antics.
MailOnline has contacted representatives of Andy Carroll for comment.
It comes after Andy revealed he is back with Lou following a brief split earlier this week.
The couple split after a series of rows, with initial reports claiming the footballer dumped the make-up artist after becoming fed up with her high maintenance behaviour.
However, Daily Mail exclusively revealed on Wednesday it was in fact Lou who called off the relationship.
Andy has now vowed to cut down on alcohol in a bid to save their relationship after boozy rows as he confirmed the pair are trying 'to work through their difficulties'.
He told The Sun on Sunday: 'I love Lou and I love her family. We row like any couple.'
Referring to his divorce from wife Billi Mucklow, who he shares three children with, Andy added: 'Things have been difficult for me and I'm going through a divorce.
'Some of our rows have been about alcohol, as Lou has been teetotal for 14 years and I have a beer or wine at dinner and a drink after the game, but it's not a problem in my life.
'We're better off together and we're trying to work through our difficulties.'
The pair, who were together for just over a year, unfollowed each other on social media and Andy wiped all trace of Lou from his Instagram.
They now follow each other on Instagram and have added their loved-up snaps back to their pages.
On Wednesday, a source told the Daily Mail: 'It was Lou who ended her relationship with Andy, she walked away a few days ago, it was very much her choice to end their romance.
'She isn't interested in pointing the finger or blaming him and hoped to deal with their split in private, before he blocked her on Instagram and deleted their photos together.
'Lou is very upset by how everything has played out and the arguments between them were especially difficult for her to go through.
'However, Andy wants Lou back and flew to Ibiza via private jet on Tuesday just to find her, even though he has no idea where she's staying.
'He will think it's a romantic gesture but for Lou, she's unimpressed and just wants to be away with her family, she's not interested in any of his attempts at a reconciliation now.
'All she has done all year is love and support Andy, her feelings haven't gone away, but Lou has to protect herself now and ending the relationship is the only way to move forward.'
The pair began dating last year after he separated from wife Billi last September.
Andy and Billi called it quits divorce after two years of turbulent marriage, the footballer confirmed last year.
In 2022, their wedding was almost called off when Andy was pictured drunkenly passed out in bed with two women in Dubai on his stag do.
Billi forgave him after one of the women insisted nothing sexual happened.
Less than two years after their nuptials, the couple's marriage was over - with Andy confirming they had started divorce proceedings after 'a hard few months for our family'.
Andy said in a statement at the time: 'Billi and I have privately separated earlier this year and we are under way with our divorce proceedings'.
'It has been a hard few months for our family and we continue to move forward amicably for our children.'
The former couple have three children together Arlo, Wolf, and Marvel Mae and she also raises his two children Emilie Rose, 15, and Lucas, 14 from his past relationship

Tyson Fury teases major announcement after pulling yet another retirement U-turn as £300m Anthony Joshua fight looms

TYSON FURY has teased that a major announcement is on the horizon amid his continued tooing and froing from retirement. The Gypsy King kicked up a fuss in the aftermath of his second straight defeat to Oleksandr Usyk last December and announced his FIFTH retirement from boxing. 4 4 But he performed a public U-turn in April as he campaigned for a trilogy fight with the two-time undisputed heavyweight king. The Wythenshawe warrior, however, dashed the hopes of fans excited to see him fight again earlier this month by claiming he will " NEVER" set foot inside the ring again. But he's once again left the boxing world on tenterhooks by revealing he's set to make a big announcement. He said on his Instagram story on Monday: "I've got the biggest announcement of the year incoming. Stay tuned." Fury, who celebrated his 37th birthday earlier this month, has arguably the biggest payday of his career awaiting him if he does decide to lace up his gloves again. A lucrative and long-overdue battle with Brit rival Anthony Joshua is in the offing for the dad-of-seven. But the former two-time king of the heavyweights could seemingly care little about fighting again, telling Sky Sports when asked if he'd return to the ring: "Never. Really! "[I'm] too old, look at my beard, all grey. Boxing 's a young man's game." Fury's latest comments on a return to the squared circle are in stark contrast to the admission he made about fighting last month. Speaking ahead of Usyk's rematch with Daniel Dubois at Wembley, he said: "I do miss it. Tyson Fury, 36, claims he will 'NEVER' return to boxing just weeks after announcing comeback and hints at new career "Every single day I wake up in the morning and miss it. "I've been away seven months, missed it every day. I'm open to offers at the moment. "I'm not going to be doing any comebacks this year, that's for sure. "I'm busy, as you can see, I've got Netflix here. I've got the biggest announcement of the year incoming. Stay tuned!" Tyson Fury on Instagram 4 "And then next year, the big GK is going to make a f***ing comeback. "The takeover! I'm gonna be 37 in about three weeks. "I'm going to be the oldest swinger with all these young boys coming up.

Iconic British actor reveals secret feud with 'arrogant co-star who behaved so badly on set'

Martin Shaw has revealed the secret feud he had with his 'arrogant' late co-star Lewis Collins. The pair are famously known as British TV's most popular crime-fighting of the 1980s, Bodie and Doyle. Martin, 80, and Lewis, who looked as though were best pals onscreen in The Professionals, couldn't stand each other in real life. So much so that Martin admitted he was 'relieved' when he stopped working with his co-star after the series ended. In an interview with the Telegraph, Martin spoke of the hidden feud he had with the late actor, who died in 2013 after a five-year battle with cancer. He said: 'It was truly, truly horrible and there was a sense of blessed relief when it was over. Ten years after the show finished I met Lewis and everything was healed between us.' Martin said their feud first began when he and Lewis played villains in The New Avengers in 1977. 'Lewis behaved so badly on that set. He had a small part but he was so arrogant. It was beyond that. It was bizarre', Martin said. Martin recalled how Lewis would 'boast about his physical prowess at the expense of the other actors'. He added: 'I'd already said to the casting director, "I can't work with Lewis because we don't get on", but they cast him anyway. 'I went up to him on the first day of shooting and said: "You know I didn't want you to do this but let's get on with it and have fun". And he told me to f*** off and he never forgave me for the next four years.' Doyle was the sensitive one with a bubble-perm and a conscience. The real hardman of the show was saturnine Bodie, the ex-mercenary. Bodie and Doyle were the paramilitary wing of MI5, a maverick unit called CI5 run by George Cowley, played by war movie veteran Gordon Jackson. It was his Glaswegian growl that warned of 'anarchy' and 'acts of terror', and set the uncompromising tone for the show. Earlier this year, Martin starred in Robert Bolt's perennial war-horse A Man For All Seasons (his first was in 2006). It tells the story of Catholic saint Thomas More's stand against Henry VIII, or more precisely, Henry's determination to defy the Pope, appoint himself head of the Church in England, ditch Catherine of Aragon and have a go at siring a son by another woman (Anne Boleyn). Martin admitted that his job contributed to his hair turning grey, in an interview with The Guardian in 2012. He said: 'I've grown a few grey hairs – well, a lot of grey hairs by now. And there's been a great deal of fatigue,' 'Acting does put a strain on relationships. You're away from home a lot. In that sense, it's almost military.'
