AR Rahman reacts to his 'Periya Bhai' nickname
AR Rahman is fondly called by many names in different parts of the country. Among Tamils, especially on X, he is popularly called 'Periya Bhai' by his fans. Recently, in an interview with Behindwoods, he was perplexed to hear his nickname and express his thoughts about it as well. 'Periya' in Tamil is loosely translated as big, while Bhai refers to his Muslim roots.
